Ecuador: a Journey into the Amazon jungle, Part 1.

A 40-minute plane ride from Quito to Coca. A two hour speed boat ride 30 miles (50K) downstream the Napo River. A 20-minute jungle walk and a 30-minute canoe ride. That is what it took to get to Sacha Lodge: a 26-room Ecuadorian Amazon haven where for five days I got to explore just a drop in the bucket of what this, one of the most bio-diverse places on Planet Earth has to offer.
