I miss occasionally winning in a convincing manner on the way to a 11 to 13 win season.
Love this. And it's the truth. They never do it the easy way. We give up third and long more than we give up third and short. If we have a lead, we play not to lose rather than playing to win. If we get the ball back with less than 45 seconds to go in the first half, Tomlin will knee it out rather than try to get in field goal range. And seriously, they need to cut out the zone coverages. Play man and let your pass rush get to the qb.

With good to great run blocking oline maybe harris out performs warren but his quickness makes him much more effective currently. Leave harris til the 3rd and 4th like the Cowboys used to do with Marion Barber and let him run fresh while the defense is getting tired.

We all know why, this organization is intentionally slow to change. Every week the Steelers keep Canada employed, they're basically saying, "let's make our team beat the other team and our offense! STILLER FOOTBALL BABY! THE STILLERS ARE GAHNTA SEWPERBAHL!!!"

I am a die-hard Steeler fan, have been so my whole life. 53 years old. back in the 70's, we used to destroy teams and beat the good teams. I know that was a legendary era/team, but even still. Cowher was pretty much the same, but he didn't have nearly the talent that we had in the 70's. We beat the teams we should beat handedly, and we won our share against other great teams. (i.e. Super Bowl XL). Ever since Tomlin, who I like, I might add, we just don't seem to crush ANYBODY. quite the contrary. we let teams who have NO BUSINESS playing with us close to do just that, or even, God forbid, beat us! And we seem to NEVER BE READY AT THE BEGINNING OF THE GAME. we always seem to be lethargic at the onset of ballgames! It drives me freaking crazy!!! The only big game I remember where we were on cruise control the whole game was the home playoff game a few years back against the Dolphins. Wife and I were at that game and was happy that we could leave early to beat the traffic. I used to live about two hours away from the field...
Because tomlin likes to win on pure physicality instead of good game planning, scheming, and coaching.
I’ve defended him for years but I’m exhausted of doing it.

@@ronmimnaugh7674 during each of the last few playoff “runs” I thought it was cool to come in as an underdog rather than the favored team, but it feels like this team very rarely actually swings up on really good teams. They don’t reliably beat bad teams either. It feels like all the time that bad teams turn their season around against us lol

Well as us fans already know, that's the reason it's SO HARD to watch them play. I realize a lot of other teams have their issues, but the Steelers have been the most ridiculous roller-coaster ride in the NFL for years now. I don't think the players or coaches realize just how much they drive us fans NUTS.
The Super Mario hop noise overtop the Jaylen Warren hurdle was awesome lol I've been saying they need to put him RB1, he plays with more heart than Najee, he averages more yards per carry than Najee and Jaylen's a hurdling/spinning tackle breaking machine. What else do they need to see to start this man. Let Warren go to War!! 😤

Everything is hard because Mike Tomlin doesn't change as the game evolves he's stubborn on his ways and won't adapt as the league changes.

It has to be so hard because the Steelers are a poorly coached mediocre team that can only win when they get enough splash plays, mostly on D. And I agree that Gunner O still on the team makes no sense. He’s a turnover machine and should have been cut after toeing the sideline to keep a KO inbounds at the cost of 31 yards. No one is held accountable.

It's not hate to point out he's played poorly, though I definitely attribute a large chunk of his regression to Matt Canada's 9 play offense and Mason Cole method acting as a turnstile

This IS the NFL. I’m not saying it’s fixed. But maybe it’s fixed. The NFL is a sports entertainment company. Millions of dollars go into sports betting and advertising. The NFL’s main goal is to keep our eyes stuck to the entertainment. Do you honestly think they wouldn’t do that by any means necessary??
I don’t think the NFL is scripted like some people do. But sometimes I question even that.
NFL athletes are the best in the world. But the spirit of competition, and the desire to win championships, will never trump profits, and an amazing story.
We are entertained by stories. They know this. They even attempt to involve women in our sport by playing up the ❤ story of Kelce and Swift.
I hate to be the bubble popper. I really do. But the NFL looks more like the WWE every day with their magnetic glove one handed catches, and blatant “look the other way” non calls by officials who literally spent their entire adult lives in the sport.
When ur fat uncle Bob knows the rules better then the guys in the stripe shirts, then their is something wrong with game.
But at some point you have to realize that the NFL isn’t “putting up” with horrible officiating. They are crafting end of game story lines, massaging point spreads, and making damn sure you don’t miss any of the commercials.
All you did was make obvious points and cuss a lot.
