Imma be honest, as a Steelers fan, I've never had a whole lot of faith in Mason Rudolph, but man am I glad he proved me wrong. He had an amazing game tonight and I can only hope he continues this!

Steelers pick up a tight end off season for Rudolph to hit over the middle with Pickens outside and they will be hard to beat.
The man's been practicing with professional Steelers for 5 years honing his skills. He's always had good awareness and goes through his progressions. Kenny has 0 situational awareness in comparison and doesn't go through his progressions trying to read open WR's. Kenny hasn't proven himself to be a better player.

This was probably my 10th game I’ve been to and that play was maybe my favorite I’ve ever seen in person. It was the loudest I’ve heard in a while and everyone was just hugging and loving each other kol

This game was all about proving the doubters wrong. Rudolph was scrutinized for a long time, Pickens was getting hate from his own fanbase, and everyone, myself included, declared that the Steeler Way was dead. Tonight, it came back in glorious fashion. I’m honored to be a fan of this team.

It's the inconsistency that drives me nuts. Sit down to watch knowing I'll either be turning it off in frustration after 10 minutes, or watching the whole thing wondering why we can't play like that every week.
Pickens is still suspect for me though - some classic Steelers WR Diva nonsense this season isn't undone by this game.

Just as a fan of good football...the Bengals play calling today was absolutely brutal. The Steelers showed their grit. Rudolph led them today.
It wasn’t solely a play calling issue 🤣 it was the Steelers’ secondary forcing 3 turnovers with huge plays. Steelers downright owned them on every level

Mason Rudolph has made 2 big passes to George Pickens to help set the tone for this game. The Steelers’ defense has also made it easier for their offense to score by getting pressure on the quarterback and takeaways for a short field

Even from these loses it wasn't the Defense that needed the most changes. This was what we were wanting from week 10. An offense to score points and our defense to give the ball back to the offense without the opposition scoring. Didn't think Id see it coming together like this - it looks promising for Seahawks & Ravens.

As a Steelers fan, I can't express how much this win means to the city of Pittsburgh. We've had a tough season, but it's great to finally get a win and move one step closer to making the Playoffs.

Your team woke up after a week of criticism. Seems Mike Tomlin provided some much needed coffee to help keep the Steelers season afloat. We’ll see what happens after week 18 though but still congrats to the Steelers for picking up this win.

I can't believe it took 16 weeks......for the Steelers to score big plays from scrimmage with one pass. Former OC Matt Canada truly was holding back the abysmal, inconsistent Offense for most of the season. These big scoring plays (by QB to George Pickens has been missing all season till today.
It 's finally great to see Pittsburgh score more than 20 or more pts in a game, thanks to all 3 phases of the game and the first time scoring 30 or more in a game. Next week when Pittsburgh travels to Seattle, QB Mason Rudolph should be the starter even if Pickett has recovered from his ankle surgery. "If it isn't broken, why fix it?"
As a Bengals fan, you don't need any flashy coaching or big names to beat us. All the Steelers have to do is show up to the stadium in time for kickoff.
I've been a fan of this lousy team my entire life. No matter how good we are and how bad the Steelers are, we just can't beat Pittsburgh. We would have lost this game with or without Canada as your OC.

Mason Rudolph was brilliant tonight. He threw for over 290 yards on 17/27 from the field. He had two Touchdowns. He had one of the greatest games of his career, and I think we seriously need to consider making Mason Rudolph our starting QB after this performance.

The accuracy and the deep ball was on full display in this game. The last time he played he didn't have the weapons they have now but he's always been pretty accurate..

Rudolph went 17/27 for 290 and 195 of that was to Pickens. 85 of it was on the first TD that Pickens took from a 12 yard pass to an 85 yard touchdown.. And you wanna credit Rudolph? Really? 1 play was nearly 1/3 of that dude's entire passing yardage..
Did he lose us the game? No.
Did he win us the game? Not really.
Did he contribute? Yes.

But Mason man he just broke our 3 game losing streak by destroying the bengals, I think it would be a good choice to start him next game, but if Kenny is healthy highly doubt Rudolph will start, earthier way great game for the Steelers to get us back in playoff contention.

That was the first Game this Season after that I must say:When the Steelers play like this they can reach the Playoffs but before that Game I always said that the Steelers not have earned the Playoffs imo!They have played lousy in the last Weeks!All World wanted the Steelers out of the Playoffs,except the Steelers themselves!Now they have a Chance!I think now the Steelers,Bengals,Texans,Jaguars and Broncos will play for the 7th Seed!1st Seed:Ravens 2nd Seed:Dolphins 3rd Seed:Chiefs 4th Seed:Colts 5th Seed:Bills 6th Seed:Browns so maybe one of these 5 Teams will get the 7th Seed!And in the NFC:1.49ers 2.Eagles 3.my Detroit Lions 4.Buccaneers 5.Dallas 6.Rams 7.Seahawks or 6.Seahawks and 7.Rams!!Because the Hawks I think have a good Chance to win the last 3 Games to a 10-7 Record and the Rams lose maybe against the 49ers in Week 18 to a 9-8 Record!Except the 9ers clinch the Nr.1 Seed a week before,than Kyle Shanahan don`t play with the complete Starting Team!They feared so much another injury in his Team esp.Brock Purdy again like last Year,or CMC or Deebo!These 3 Players are MVP`s for the 49ers!They have a Record of 18-0 when Deebo,CMC and Purdy are playing on the same Field,i mean that Record is unbelievable!They haven`t lost a Game!At first i am with my Lions,thats for sure!But i have so much sympathy for the 49ers!I think they should win the SB this Year they have earned it after so much bad Luck with injuries in the Past!Especially last Year with Brock Purdy!I still think that they would have won the SB last Year when Brock were not injured that Day!But not just last Year the 9ers really have earned it after the SB 2019,the 2 Championship Games in a Row!This Year they are as strong as last Year and when they have good Luck finally than they will get the Lombardi imo!

He was always an obvious downgrade from Roethlisberger, but compared to Trubisky and maybe Kenny (not enough games of him without Canada), he's a great weapon I'm glad we have. I'm very excited to see what the Steelers do after the season is over.
The reason Rudolph isn’t the permanent starter is Tomlin hates him. Tomlin could’ve inserted him at any point in last 3 crucial losses. He doesn’t trust him or like him. Tomlin KNEW at this point, he couldn’t be worse than Trubisky

I am a Washington fan unfortunately but what made me love the Steelers was when they beat the Cowboys twice in the Super Bowl back in the 70s although Dallas did get revenge in the 1995 Super Bowl I remember Terry Bradshaw leading them to victory in the late 70s over the boys!
