I love that “the things I can do” isn’t Mark saying he’s too important for college. He’s afraid of trying to live a normal life when he knows he’s a murderer, when he knows if he loses control he could kill someone again.
Only a monster kills without feeling. While Mark was justified, since Levy was insane and ready to kill Debbie and Oliver, the fact is that he is now afraid of his real power. The more I think about it, Mark got extremely lucky that when he lost control it was in an unpopulated wasteland. If this had happened in a city or more populated area it could of been REAL BAD.

Towards the end of this season, Cecil and Donald have really pushed the older adult/almost parental figure (grandparent/uncle) with other characters. Mark's little brother Oliver will die after he confronts Thragg the Viltrumite Leader and reveals that he knows Mark, Nolan, and him are the true heirs of the Viltrumite Empire and not Thragg
With Angstrom, he was only after Mark and his family because of their multiverse selves plus Invincible's interference in the beginning of Season 2. Plus he was planning on helping the multiverse before that misunderstanding with the Mauler Twins.
There is a sinister parallel between Sinclair and Anstrong. They are both extremely intelligent humans who seek to create a utopia, and that makes them more dangerous than any other villain whose only purpose is to steal or kill. Both characters are foolish enough to believe they can play God. And foolish people with power do a lot of damage. The biggest crimes in the past century were committed by humans with a completely broken moral compass who thought they were doing good. And they brought hell to Earth, Both Sinclair and Anstrong hurt people in Mark's personal circle, and of course, he reacted in a different way than he would if they did it to anonymous civilians. While Mark in his confrontation with Sinclair avoided killing him (despite destroying his jaw) in the case of Armstrong he could not do the same. Mark was quite angry and stressed after that hostage situation with his family, Armstrong did not fall unconscious when he started hitting him and he was teleporting him to several universes, so he lost his cool for longer than with Sinclair. Obviously Armstrong had to die to prevent his madness from causing irreparable damage, and he was suffering enormously so death was a relief for him. No one blames Mark for killing him, he didn't give her much choice and it was an accident anyway. But this sends an ominous message to Invincible. He still doesn't know how to control his strength and he still doesn't have the nerves of steel to face a hostage situation, especially if they are known people. Obviously he has PTSD and a hard time, since killing is not something that leaves you indifferent. Plus, there's the whole thing with Omni Man and the Viltrumites, so that adds even more pressure on him.
Question. Is this how people are supposed to feel should they ever be met with a reality of having to kill someone? I have not had that to happen to me, but watching these kind of clips i fail to see the ptsd consept. If someone is trying to kill you, why would you feel bad killing them?
Mark isn't a normal person. He is a superhero and has always idolized that concept and the moral good that it is supposed to represent. He is incredibly hard on himself to do the right thing to the point of neglecting his needs as an individual. This moral strength though is what he has clung to and allowed him to keep getting back up in the face of so many traumatic events he has been through throughout this series. By killing Angstrom, even if Angstrom deserved it, he proves that he is not the ideal he has tried to live up to and all the trauma he has managed to compartmentalize until now is crushing him. Basically, he "thought he(himself) was stronger..."
Like a comment above me said, his rage, his bloodlust, and even the way he attacked Angstrom at the end, it reminded him of what his father could do, and he's scared that since he has the same powers, and he crossed the line once, what's gonna happen if he keeps crossing the line? How much destruction could he cause?
He really couldn't when earlier, he saw nothing but Mark causing damage in other dimensions. Even with him dealing with the exception, one can't really talk him down like that. Even Eve doesn't deal with Levy like that.
So hes trying to be batman in a world full of death, like i get you have a moral mission, but comeon man he was gonna kill his mom and his mother, at what line does the moral mission stop at ? If he kept up what he was doing angstrom probably wouldve killed more than his family, knowing that mark has friends in that timeline he probably would killed them too
You do know that letting scenes like these "flow" on RUclips results in it being taken down because showing the footage unedited violates dumb YT rules.
Clearly, you haven't been paying attention to anything going on in this show other than action. It's sad how some people care more about fights than story and characters but w.e.

With Angstrom, he was only after Mark and his family because of their multiverse selves plus Invincible's interference in the beginning of Season 2. Plus he was planning on helping the multiverse before that misunderstanding with the Mauler Twins.
@@dnmstarsi But when the machine blew up, his mind got messed up. Only remembering all the universes where Mark was evil
@@kittenclysm116 Like I said "plus Invincible's interference".
@@dnmstarsi But he was only going after Mark because of what his evil counterparts did. I don't think he even remembered the machine
So when does conquest show up?
I wonder who likes to see a video that cuts parts all the time
You wasn’t there
There is a sinister parallel between Sinclair and Anstrong.
And they brought hell to Earth,
Both Sinclair and Anstrong hurt people in Mark's personal circle, and of course, he reacted in a different way than he would if they did it to anonymous civilians.
What’s the song at the end ?
Question. Is this how people are supposed to feel should they ever be met with a reality of having to kill someone? I have not had that to happen to me, but watching these kind of clips i fail to see the ptsd consept. If someone is trying to kill you, why would you feel bad killing them?
Mark is scared of becoming a bloodthirsty monster like his father, the beating looked very similar to when Nolan beat up mark on the mountain
Its me or mark looks more muscular now?
Mark lost his original world
Angstrom is just a warm up before the main event with Anissa.
Angstrom should’ve known he is the real hero and that he he’s not like the other mark graysons as invincible.
He really couldn't when earlier, he saw nothing but Mark causing damage in other dimensions. Even with him dealing with the exception, one can't really talk him down like that. Even Eve doesn't deal with Levy like that.
@ I can’t disagree
So hes trying to be batman in a world full of death, like i get you have a moral mission, but comeon man he was gonna kill his mom and his mother, at what line does the moral mission stop at ? If he kept up what he was doing angstrom probably wouldve killed more than his family, knowing that mark has friends in that timeline he probably would killed them too
Bruv why are you only editing editing editing. Its one scene just let it flow
You do know that letting scenes like these "flow" on RUclips results in it being taken down because showing the footage unedited violates dumb YT rules.
It only gets worse from here :D
If Mark wasnt so whiny he might actually be a good character. Poor Steven Yeun was given terrible lines to work with.
Clearly, you haven't been paying attention to anything going on in this show other than action. It's sad how some people care more about fights than story and characters but w.e.
angstrom deserved it all
Angstrom is still alive he will appear in the next season to attack Mark with an army of evil Invincibles
Yes that likely will happen next season, by the end of season 3
I hope we get Spawn, Savage Dragon and the rest.
Next season 13 reason why arc
Hate when characters are so corny, like it’s some star wars entering the dark side or batman’s ego.
