- I'm not into Instagram brows...the natural look is far more my thing...all I want is to spruce up what I already have. I wasn't sure whether this product was just another gimmick that would spread accross my face as my natural oils came through my skin. Watch the video to find out what I really thought after 10 hours of wear.

Hi Everyone, Quick update as promised....I've had a busy day and I've been wearing the Brow Blade by Urban Decay for over 10 hours. It was -3 degrees here today so I've been in and out of the cold into hot rooms which has been a great test for the brow blade. I also (more or less) ran up to school to collect the kids which was another great test (I set off late..bad mummy). The natural oils came through my skin a few hours after I applied the brow blade and the brow stain didn't budge or smudge or bleed. I've not blotted my skin though and been careful not to rub my brows. Even so, I'm super impressed with this product and I'm looking forward to using it again tomorrow xxx
Pampered Wolf Nice vid but I honestly don’t get why you didn’t just record yourself with an update and insert it within the video? Better than to rush a video out as I’m sure some of us would of liked to see the wear test at the end of the day. I honestly hate these comment updates. Thank you for the review, wow..I don’t think I have ever seen such a perfect match brow pen/pencil. It looks incredibly natural, pricey I know but brows frame the face so if it’s good, worth the splurge!

Thanks for your video. Not watched you before. Really feel like you're being honest and not just saying what the companies want you to say. Which is rare these days 🙄. I usually use Charlotte Tilbury legendary brows because I love the tiny brush but this looks amazing and at the same price. I think you've convinced me to switch. Damn you 90's eyebrows 😫. Why did we do it?!?
It's funny you said overzealous with the plucking, I look at photos of my early teens to 20's and watch those brows getting thinner and thinner. Now we all have to do so much correcting! I use Ardell brow gel and really like it. Might have to try this though.

Looks very nice and natural. Love the shade. To date I've only come across one by L'Oreal, which looks like an inkpot, and admittedly I do apply it cautiously. I'll have to look out for this brand, although not cheap, it is cheaper than actual microblading.

My brows are torturous demons that cause me the utmost grief every time I try to do anything to them. I always end up throwing the product I am trying down, wiping it all off my brows, and just go natural. Yours do look lovely with this product, and urban decay is one of my favorite brands. So, guess I will consider this product the next time I am in the mood to play with the demons.
Ugh I got those same demons girl. I HATE doing my brows.

I went for my last microblading top up today, I have never been able to do my brows so opted for the professional route. It looks a fab product though 👍
This looks like a wonderful product. I've been using Salon Perfect, tri tip brow marker for about a year but the marker tips are really too broad. This looks perfect to fill in my naturally thick brows that are thinning at the tips. For my purpose, it should last a long time. I would run out tomorrow if it wasn't -15 degrees here in Michigan, US.
I bought the UD Brow Blade today too and the lady at the store who helped me pick out the right color looked EXACTLY like you... What a coincidence!

Ok I know I’m slow on the uptake - but yes I’ve bought this today - of course I have! I absolutely love it, best thing I have come across for natural looking brows that are sparse and what can I say ........ love this product, thank you for trialling it and just love all your recommendations! Hi. l haven't used this product but l have a collection of eyebrow stuff. My problem is that when l put anything on it doesn't come out as a line but as a smudge. l try to be light handed and it works okay on my hands. Friends suggested l put powder on first but that hasn't helped. l think l must have an excessively oily brow (although l clean first).

My problem too...
Store the item with the stain end upside down so the ink stays in the nib. Otherwise you run the risk of the ink drying (found this out the hard way with a couple of similar both high end and more affordable ink pen products).

I have bought just about every brow colour and they are always too reddy brown looking, my brows are mixed, very dark, but other colours among them, I lost some of my brows because of hypothyroid, I wrote before about that. The shade have looks really good.

Is brown sugar more warm or cool toned? If you could zoom in while applying that would be helpful it was really hard to see. TY!
Sadly, a big YES to over plucking! The only good news...as you get older, you will get some back. And... at some point they will go grey, which is actually good...because grey hair is coarser, so your brows will look thicker. I paid $40 for my UD Brow Blade at Sephora in Australia. Tip: You can not have ANY moisture (sweat or damp from the shower), on your brows or the pen won't work.
I'm curious how it holds up in water and what it looks like when taken off. Do you get weird henna like stains?
Hi Gemma, I've really been loving your videos recently. you do a really thorough and in depth job. Thank you. It's refreshing to see an English Beauty Guru as I know I'll be able to get the products you try out!.. BUT... Whilst I love the concept and application of the Brow Blade, looking closely, I think they've got the colouring the wrong way round. surely the filler should be lighter than the hairs.. it looks like you have a solid dark brow with some gingery hairs sticking out which doesn't look natural to me. Anyway, it looks like I'm the only one with that opinion, and I love the fine tip, so I'll buy a dark shade and use my own lighter filler shade and see if my theory works.
Now... to get my head around your "The Ordinary" skincare videos .. I keep changing what goes in and out of my basket as I'm somewhat confused and I want it all!! Thanks again xx
This is so funny Karen as I mention this in my video this evening. I love this product but don't like the shade of the pencil. It's wrong. I'm putting it down to me buying an incorrect colour match for myself. xxx

Is the Brown Sugar shade a neutral shade?
I'm dying to know if these pens dry out quickly like every other brow pen I've purchased? Anyone hear of drying problems with the pen side itself?
They advise that you store the pen ink side down so that the tip doesn't dry out....I don't follow this advice though. Mine lays flat in a drawer and it's still going 2 months in. xxx

I think the ink tip is too soft. It bends and I’m not getting it to draw individual hairs.

I don't know...it looks great on you but I'm not sure I have a steady enough hand to draw those tiny brows as nicely as you do. It seems to have taken quite a long time to apply or was it just because you were doing the video? Thanks for all you do!
Usually it doesn't take that much time. I'm usually not talking to a camera when I'm applying my usual everyday makeup xxx

Hi Gemma, what are your current thoughts on this? I tried it for the first time today. Still not 100% convinced to buy. She used both ends in brown sugar on my very fine and brows.
I still love it, but I don't use the pencil end as it's too orange for me. I only use the stain end....and I LOVE that xxx

Tony Moly does one on EBay but only if you have brown brows. Nothing would work I don't think for blondes as evennthe light browns are very warm. The dark brown is perfect for Brunettes and $10 AUD. Brilliant product but you have to be dark which wipes out all the blondes.
I got the UD Brow Blade last week and I absolutely love it! I’m 54 and my brows have gotten quite sparse over the last few years, and VERY uneven. I know they say brows are sisters, not twins, but mine aren’t even distant cousins, LOL!

Is this a good thing to use for just colouring the brows? Mine arent sparse but I'm getting some grey hairs that I'd like to blend in. I've never used any makeup on my brows, so I don't know what to use. I tried a bit of brown eyeshadow on a very small brush- but it wasn't a great success!

This looks good but surely the manufacturer realised it would be placed over skin care and foundation ?.
I think they are just covering their bases. I applied over skincare and foundation and didn't have a problem xxx

It looks great from a distance but! when you zoomed in you can see that the brows are drawn on. That's out for me. Thank You Jemma for showing this pro.
They look nicer today only using the ink stain. I didn't use the waterproof pencil at all and thought it looked far more natural as you can see skin though the brows xxx

FYI, I find the Revlon Colorstay Brow tint pen to be identical for a third the price.

Wow, your eyebrows look gorgeous and natural ! The color its a perfect match for your brows too, and thats hard to find. The only downside is the price, but at least you know that your are getting a good product. Mines combi/dry but sometimes oily between my brows and on my chin. I don't really have an answer for your question Mercedes. All I can tell you is that my natural oils came through my skin and the pen stain didn't bleed or smudge xxx

At the end of day before cleansing, please try and smudge it. Please!
I've tried this and can confirm it doesn't smudge. The only smudging I got was from my foundation. xxx

Store them with the top upside down, so the ink is always sitting in the tip. I used a different product but same idea and tried one up one down... one up dried in a month and the other one still going 6 months later.
I enjoyed this product, but my pencil end only lasted about a month
