    I do the same technique with aloe gel, it stiffens the hairs and can be washed out. It doesn't have as much hold, but it is a nice grooming and eyebrow treatment.

      And with Aloe Gel, its a great product for the eyebrow hairs, and the skin, so if it holds really good and stuff, that would be ammmmazing!!! I still am going to try the glue technique, but I will also try the aloe vera gel as well and do an honest review on both, thank you both so much!! We have any amazing eyebrow brush and color its also angled, so it does a very natural looking brow stroke, I personally airbrush my brows, its life, I love Luminess cosmetics since they incorporated traditional makeup into their line it use to be airbrush makeup only, now we are still coming out with new products every day in the new traditional line is so super good, if you would like to go and see the products we offer now, go to www.luminessairess.com/vanessa I am telling you they have evolved so much, now for me with mature skin, I will be switching to our new airbrush system the Icon 5th generation, is almost the half size of my smartphone, and 5 times faster, best airbrush system in our line, no more buying attachment to do home spray tan at home, you can run the root and brow colors through it, that is simply amazing, before you had to order a new compressor just for self-tanning, airbrush system, which is money saving and it's so amazing looking, no more going to a salon for the spray tanned, when I now do it at home, cheap lasts, and no orange!

      Awesome I’m gonna try this.. I am a total newby to doing my brows.. I am trying to watch all these videos and Map my new brows I have them I just never did them before.. I think it’s gonna really help my look because my eyes are smaller and I feel like I don’t have room to do all these styles everybody else does but it’s because I stop at my eye and I notice most makeup people extend the eyes out

    Great tips, your brows look super natural and “hairlike!” I relate to you so much because this brow struggle is real! I tweezed my brows off when I was young and I cannot get them to grow back! I do my brows in a very similar way! I’ve been doing them like this for close to ten years and it’s been a game changer!! (I’ve never tried using lash glue SO I’m def gonna try it!) funny story-A guy I used to work with would tease me all the time for brushing my brows upwards and pushing them down against the skin lol! He thought it was so weird. He ended up trying it and essentially fell in love with the technique! You never realized how much brushing the hair upwards genuinely transforms the shape and look of not only your brows but your face! Plus it creates and illusion that you have more fuller, thicker brows than you do! Super tricks! Oh and I personally like the look of the one with pencil! But both are lovely!! xo!

    Great idea! The right brow looks more natural in my opinion because of the individual strokes (better for daytime), the left brow looks like an evening brow due to the depth you get from overlapping shadow. Both are beautiful!

    We people are prone to conclusions and like to assume. Normally when I see a beautiful/good looking person doing tutorials 'on hacking good looks' I just immediately assume that they already have perfect conditions and it is easy for them to teach. For example, person with already thick hair making tutorials on how to achieve thick hair look, or smooth skin youtuber achieving perfect skin look, these kind of conditions. When I saw you I immediately told myself that your eyebrows are great and why does she need 'brow hacks' , when I actually saw the video I understood that it's a solution to an actual problem. I have the same issue - plucked eyebrows when I was a teen and now they are thin and short (!!!). So this video was an eye opener. Thank you.

    This is a wonderful tip! Thank you! Personally, I think both sides look great, but with such bold eye makeup, I think the brow with the powder looks better. It’s slightly darker and more defined which holds up better next to the strong eye look. With a lighter eyeshadow, I would choose the brow with the pencil. Both look great, and I personally will be using both the powder and pencil depending on the eye look I’m going for. Again, thank you for this tutorial!

    Way better alternative to microbladed, freaking love it

      Think I'ma do a lil' of both, like pencil for the front inner corner & powder for middle & maybe smallest bit of both for the tail 😸

      Tbh I wish I could get my brows microbladed because a lot of the time even when I don't wear makeup I do slightly fill in and shape my brows. They are such an important step for me, it would save me a lot of time to get them microbladed

    Going to try this technique.
    Either use of powder or pencil looks good. Just depends if yo want a little heavier look, powder, of softer look, pencil.
    Thanks for the tip about using glue to your brush.

    Definitely the powder side. Looks to have more colour variation, darker, and more natural. Looks very nice and frames your eye really well. The pencil side looks a little bit moustachy.

    Such a different technique! I like the pencil side more. How do you remove the glue? Would it wash off with a regular cleanser or balm?

      @MissJoysArtRoom 6 лет назад +1

      Niqueena1 I’m dying to hear about the cleanup too ❤️ If you read comments below, she says to someone else asking this that she uses oil at night to remove - but I’m not sure if that’s coconut oil or...???

    • @IlkaWaffy

      I'd use some sort of oil

      Ardell lashtite glue (which would work great for this technique in clear) has a corresponding remover. It’s a lash glue remover.

    Love this new technique!! I like the powdered brow better. I think that’s because the powdered brow is slightly darker. Plus it looks fuller, more lush.

    I am obsessed with this technique! I do the same thing with the Anastasia dipbrow in ash brown and my sigma E06. I may pick up another E06 and glue it like you did. What a great idea Steph! This is why I love you! You are so innovative with your ideas. I’ve learned so much from you!

    I personnally use an alep soap or marseille soap, not a white soap and an oil based soap and i spray 2 pumps of water on my soap and scratch it.Much better than eyelash glue, cheaper, more natural, totally not a pain in the ass to remove....!! And the hold is really good!!!

      char alford
      Of course you would need to use caution around the eye area. But I didn’t have any irritation. This is basically a semi-permanent hair color. It’s more flattering & realistic looking because of this. I apply it & leave it for about 4-5 min. Reapply every 3-4 weeks as needed. It’s made my brow game so much easier and better looking. 😊

      Allyson Sixx Costello does it stain your skin? I typically just use my hair dye on a clean spoolie but my skin always gets dyed too 😩 my brows are so blonde you can’t even see them unless they’re colored in or dyed

    i love this idea! i like the side that u used the brow pencil better! and the lil hack of gluing the brush so its stiff is such a cool idea thankx!!!

  • @kevinkimberlymatherly196
    @kevinkimberlymatherly196 5 лет назад

    The pencil made it look super natural and u can c each and every defined hair but the one with powder looks alittle more full and not so much defined but more of a thicker busher brow but both sides look awesome its just what someone really prefers, either a defined brow or a thicker fuller brow but neither look bad they both look so so so so good!! Im shook, I'll absolutely be trying ur glue technique I think it is a way better way to really set ur brows first verses the soap brow which I've never tried bc it didn't appeal to me to put actual soap into my brow bc I felt like it would turn into a mess or complete disaster by the end of the day so I haven't had the guts to try it but the glue I know has to work bc it's designed to hold & set ur lashes for all day wear wout fail so I think it's a nifty & trend setting brow hack, so u get two thumbs up from this gal I love the thought of trying it so so much,
    THX & XOXOXOXO
