- This was a much requested video. Brows can be difficult, but they don't always have to be. Using highlighters and concealers to define the brows just aren't necessary, and definitely won't add to a natural brow look. Brows are very personal, and although I do my brows on a daily basis like this, it doesn't mean that this is the 'correct' way to do them, it is just the way I prefer.

Great tips, Gemma. Never thought about making sure arch and end of brows are at same height. My right brow is a little higher than my left so I'm going to try and lift my points on left side to match the right. Thanks for wonderful suggestions 👍😎👀

Thank you Gemma, this tutorial was so helpful! I am in your Mom's age group. Between uneven brows, over waxed and over plucked (thanks, 1980s!) and gray hairs vying for attention, not to mention being very uneven, my eyebrows are my battleground. I ordered the Brow Blade during Ulta's 21 day sale, plus I have the NYX microbrow (and about a dozen other similar products), I feel inspired to give it a go today. Love your channel!

My brows are very different colours, lite brown towards the nose but towards the arch the almost have no colour at all . So the end of this month I have book to have them shaped and tinted hopefully this will improve them .

Thanks for this one especially, Gemma. My brows were over tweezed, but they have grown back somewhat. Mostly I have problems with gray brow hairs sneaking in. THAT is a big problem. How to make them look better drives me up a wall.
Brushing a bit of coloured brow gel through the brows will cover your greys Della xxx
Pampered Wolf Gemma, I have tried Clinique’s and it clumps much like a clumpy mascara. Maybe I’m using it wrong. Is there another you would recommend? BTW, I splurged on the Bobbi Brown eye cream. I’ve used it for about 2 weeks and what a difference!

You have beautiful brows. I believe eyebrows are as individual as a face so everyone should "play-up" what they have for their own unique face. My brows are sparse, unfortunately, so they're a pain in the butt to do. I love the glow on your face! Very pretty.

gonna have to pick up one of those nyx brow pencils! my brows are a pain... very sparse and I blame it on my very blonde mother and my vietnamese dad (ever notice most asians have VERY little body hair?).
got microbladed a couple years ago and it was some of the best money I've ever spent! (over due for a retouch 😬)

I have white hairs in my brows so I switched to benefit gimme brows but a young lady at Ulta told me about tarte busy girl brows oh what a game changer I love !!
I am 50 and have just discovered you. I particularly like how you show products on your mum. My foundation already looks loads better just by using a brush! Thanks for that. With regards to eyebrows, mine are so sparse they are half as long as they should be and with so much missing I don’t think this tip is going to work for me. Can you do more for sparse brows?
I just wanted to say thank you I've bought so many products for brows and they all have been to dark, orange, waxey or dry but I went out and bought the NYX micro brow pencil in taupe it's the best colour for my mousey brows. It's stays in place all day 😍

Just a tip, the Diorshow Brow Styler pencil is an awesome pencil too, I use it and the NYX and perfection!

Fabulous video. My last brow product was too orange-y too. Good to know to avoid Brown Sugar in the Urban Decay Brow Blade. Will definitely try to purchase in-store so I can sample colors. I’m thinking Taupe Trap or Neutral Nana.

I love the real time vids, I can easily follow what you're doing AND it helps things make sense. My huge problem with eyebrows and eye make up is that I wear reading glasses and, unfortunately, I can't see either too well without my glasses! But if I wear them I then can't get to the eye area, ARGHHHH, 😡😡. I've tried using a magnifying mirror but for some reason it doesn't work out foe me.
Love the whole make up today, especially the Bare Minerals Rescue Stick foundation and the shade of lipstick. Gorgeous, 😍😍❣❣❣

@@PamperedWolf I remember you saying that vit C wasn't tolerated by your skin. Have you tried the Q10 serum by The Inkey? It's packed with antioxidants and it's soooo cheap - rivals The Ordinary. 🌼🌸🌼
I have bought so many different eyebrow pencils and what not, but none of them worked as well as Urban Decay brow blade. The Best Buy ever !!!

I would love to do my Mum's brows the same way....but she's not used to seeing herself with brows, so I think my method might scare her a little. I just fill out my mums brows but don't change the shape as that's her preference xxx

I don't like ads either, however, as I refuse to do sponsored videos (which pay a lot of money), this is my only source of income revenue, and the revenue that pays for all of the products that make my videos possible. I don't link products Irene. Usually if you type the item in google it will tell you where you can buy it from. I have subscribers all over the world so if I listed where you can buy it from for each country I'd be there hours xxx
Do you have a recommendation for something that will set the eyebrow pencil. Mine starts to look smudged on the ends after a while. Love your videos.
I'd use a stiffer product. The waxier ones tend to hold up better than the softer products. I have also been known to dust some powder or setting spray over my brows to make them stick xxx
Amazing, but to be totally honest, it takes me that much time to do my whole face in the morning. I will try for when i go out in the evening ;))))
Mine are not related for sure but they look nice with a bit of Anastasia pomade. I keep them tidy and natural. I hate the caterpillars brows, they look stupid! 😂😂Really enjoy your videos

Mac does a Shape and Shade that has the "felt tip" end and powder at the other end rather than a pencil. Have you tried that before?

Very good tutorial but I think it's more difficult to do natural brow when u got black brows,and not a lot of them like me,I can only use black pencils or pomade

Can you update us on how long your urban decay brow blade lasts? Before I invest I want to know how long I am going to get out of the product or I will just stick with my Tony Moly which last so long (probably because it doesn’t have any other product... it’s just the ink pen). Thank you... I know that’s yet another request to add
That's the sort of product I ought to try next Ellie. I only use the ink stain end of the pen really as the waterproof pencil end isn't a great colour for me. I have had feedback though that the pencil doesn't last very long at all. The ink stain is still going strong for me though and I use it practically every day, but only for the front of my brows. I'm thinking of trying a similar product from MAC next xxx
Pampered Wolf I am just about to buy the shape and shade from Mac too ... great colours on there. Just curious. I only use my current one for a back patch in the middle of my brow (convenient placing I know)... so my stuff last ages. Would just be interested and Mac Taupe has NO red in it and works perfectly on my mums ashy blonde hair.
I have no idea what colours are available in the MAC Shape and Shade. I'm definitely eager to try it though xxx
Pampered Wolf there is 7 or 8 on the sight and it tells you if they are ashy or not. Taupe I think would be perfect for you ... my kind blond is yours all over but check out and ask their customer service if unsure. I ended up going to the darkest as I wanted NO RED at all. I always get disappointed when I buy a shade “espresso” and it throws orange or red. Maybelline three pronged tattoo brow (which the tip was AMAZING on) threw orange to start and then GREEN. Grrrr. Tony Moly is great but I think only for very dark brows in the darkest shade. The others look suspiciously orange to me
