Been in Sihanoukville for two days having viewed Geoff's vid beforehand. Excellent preparation and very useful. All the restaurants mentioned still in situ. 10/10.
well Geoff I have watched all your films now and you are number 1 in this game great presenting style please keep doing them it keeps me going sat in freezing January ukI look forward to more from the main man
Great to see some of the places I went to while I was there in November ,will surely go back for more , you stopped right outside serindip hotel I stayed there, a bit pricier but for three was ok, so close to everything and a huge pool , will definitely go back there ,,,
Thanks for the info Geoff, always nice to hear recommendations from another Warrington lad :-), I'm visiting in November 2015 for 6 nights then off to Phu Quoc, your guide has been a big help
BEST information video I've seen yet friend! I am lookin to move there to live and all the questions I had, you handled it mate ya! Thank you so much.... maybe next time if ever you go back there we can meet for some ale on the beach!
You video logs are gonna cost me a fortune, Since I have subscribed you have already got me going Thailand now I got Cambodia on my to visit list. Great videos mate, like others have said below, good info no BS and some cracking places to visit. Keep the vids coming. BTW: what camera you using?
great video as usual mate love um all took notes of all your comments and places to see. i'm off to pattaya on 1st feb so cant wait to visit some of your hotspots lol. where you off to next Geoff? ok keep safe and have fun ................... laters
At the very end of the clip the man was on his way down to the peer. On the right hand side on the beach front there used to be a bar called Jams. Is it still active or closed down? Great place to hang out at nights! :D
Hello Geoff and thanks for the videos. I am moving to Hua Hin next year and have enjoyed your videos. I am wondering if you have checked out the catarmarans for travel. Is it possible to travel across the Sea of Thailand from Hua Hin to Cambodia?
I agreed with you that Zana House Guesthouse is a nice and quiet place to stay. It is my favorite place there. But after a few 1 months vacations in Sihanoukville the rest of this video is unfortunately full of BS. Even the restaurant where you complained about the "snotty eggs", are one of my favorite restaurants for Khmer food there. They also have a restaurant second next door to the Zana Guesthouse, where I normally eat my breakfast. And some of the bars you mentioning are not places seasoned Sihanoukville travelers go. So for those following Geoff'f "expert tips" here are likely to be very disappointed.
Scared to go there after reading about all the people getting their asses beat and robbed. I'm gonna pass through really cautiously on the way to and from the ferry and Pnom Phen/ airport.
haha tuk tuk buses... err that is the Square not the Plaza.....oh its Dark at night? what a surprise....err no not serendipity road that is Beach Road....no Ale in Cambodia...Sunday roast on a Wednesday night? not toast how awful..... 8.20 he does not mention the raw sewage on the road.....god that was a laugh a minute
23 mar 2019 Sihanoukville is not like this no more not even close to your video. I had lived there for 4 1/2 years. now not beautiful, raw sewage dumped to its rivers flowing to the beaches so don't swim the beaches are polluted. trash all over the city. where I lived Near a club called LV that's not there no more trash was never picked up. we had to burn it. Flyes all over and very dusty roads. Chinese has changed the areas they only care about casinos not the Cambodian environment. not recommend only if you like gambling maybe.
This is the most entertaining RUclips video I think I've ever watched.
Please tell me it's a parody

Hello Geoff and thanks for the videos. I am moving to Hua Hin next year and have enjoyed your videos. I am wondering if you have checked out the catarmarans for travel. Is it possible to travel across the Sea of Thailand from Hua Hin to Cambodia?
Unfortunately you have to travel around Bangkok and over land unless you charter a boat.
Are they dealing with American dollars? Sounds expensive compared to Thailand?
Cheaper
Nice video Geoff but what's Cambodian food like. You missed a trick there son.
Love iiiit.
Do they have have San Miguel Light in Sihanoukville in Beerbars?
Great video as usual what happened to your friend you should travel with you
Was dirt roads. In 2005

Didn't know Terry Christian did travel vlogs
Joking aside, top video mate 👍
The beach that you said it's called otress beach is not actually that...it's called Ocheteal beach.! Trust me..I live there.
Don't be so pedantic Emily everyone calls it otress beach. Just because you live there does not make me automatically trust you dear!
geoffrey terry typical western traveler thinks they know better than the locals. Try learning something asshole.
Are you there for a visa run ?
The wifi is ok in zana house ?
is that easy to get weed there?
The Big and Easy... LOL
Scared to go there after reading about all the people getting their asses beat and robbed. I'm gonna pass through really cautiously on the way to and from the ferry and Pnom Phen/ airport.
Spoilt for choice for food ...who wants more...enjoy ya noodle brekky
Really great street Dave. My favourites were Ole & mango.
I wouldn't eat in any of those places.i would find a nice little eatery off the beaten (tourist) path and eat there for less.
haha tuk tuk buses... err that is the Square not the Plaza.....oh its Dark at night? what a surprise....err no not serendipity road that is Beach Road....no Ale in Cambodia...Sunday roast on a Wednesday night? not toast how awful..... 8.20 he does not mention the raw sewage on the road.....god that was a laugh a minute
Manchester?
Warrington..
Not cabodia is Cambodia
All gone now
Yeh just watching "sabaticals " latest video now...we went in 2015 ..beech Road Hotel etc...sad times how much times have changed . Such fond memories
Sihanoukkville not what it used to be....a tranquil laid back city with cheap food and lodgings. Now its a miniature China. Not a paradise any longer.
Yes i have heard the same. Little China? All those little stalls selling cheap for and drink gone! Terrible. 😢😢😢😢😢😢👎
Sad times Geoff...
Where's the Mcdonald's?
