Hey,Hey RVerTV Russ,Sioux City Iowa,Road Trip Yay Too Cool For School 👍
My mother and I went to the Stuhr museum in the fall many years ago. Saw Henry Fonda's boyhood home and that fantastic museum. They were getting ready for their Fall Harvest festival and we were a day early for that. The smell of baked apple pies in some of the old buildings was delicious. Thanks for bringing back memories of trips with my late beautiful mom.♥️
So glad you stopped at the Sergeant Floyd Memorial. the Lewis and Clark expedition was such an amazing event and makes me proud to be an American
Russ this was just what the doctor ordered! Tired of all the stress from the world 🌍 🌎 man’s inhumanity to man, politics, pettiness of people on Facebook…what a welcome relief to just take a ride with you down memory lanes of Lewis & Clark, John Deere and just the sweet comfort of hittin da road 🚐Thanks! Blessings to you as always ❤
Right? And with a knick nack patty whack give your dog a bone this , old man went to Tastees In n out Morningside.
Wow, what a fantastic overview of Siouxland. You made me proud of being from here. I'm originally from Wayne, NE and have lived in South Sioux City for a long time. You are blessed with your travel talents and we viewers are also blessed.
Hi Russ... Thanks for visiting my hometown. Was born and raised in Sioux City.
Love Your traveling videos. Keep up the great work you are doing!
Thanks, Russ. My husband lived here for a while, but we were both born in South Dakota. Makes me teary eyed because we don't live in that area anymore. Appreciate the video, Russ !!❤
Love watching.
Always great seeing a new video to watch
I would love to visit that John Deer Museum
Neat video i wanted to share that the Stuhr museum building was designed by the architect Edward Durell Stone. He designed alot of government buildings from the day.
Great video thanks for the history of USA and your enthusiasm to show these museums ' obvious you enjoy visiting
these scenic places. Thanks again from England 🇬🇧 UK
Casey's is a chain out of Ankeny, IA. Hwy 30 runs along the Union Pacific east-west main line.
love that musuem, so much wonderful history.
Thanks!
Thank You !!
This type of place is where your E bike would come in handy!!
Awesome video, love it! Thanks, Russ! Too cool for school! Greetings from central Florida! John Deere is near & dear to my heart. I grew up in the Quad Cities (Illinois/Iowa).
❤ way too cool for school thank you for sharing❤
You are so welcome!
Hi Russ. Great tour video as usual. About your comment on why no one was smiling at the candy kitchen, I have always heard that in days gone by & early photography that people were encouraged to have "stern" look. Also in the second Bldg. that you went into I was intrigued by the old-timey bicycle as I have always been. It appears to me that riding one of those took some skill. Almost like riding a uni-cycle. Thank you again for the tour.
I was watching your show today pretty good. I think but I had to take 2 Bob Wills to get rid of a headache. But then about an hour later after drinking too much water i had to take another Bob Wills. It just keeps coming on and on. By the time i go to bed tonight I think I will be BOB'D out.
You can tell you're not from the Midwest, lol, you were excited about the JD dealership. I'd probably be excited to see a big cactus in Arizona though..
Nice trip'n.
THANKS!
Thanks Russ , your in my back yard. We could’ve had coffee in Fremont……..
when we go from montana to texas and back...we pass alot of small towns because we like to avoid the major highways :)
Next time you’re in the Midwest and see a Casey’s, stop in for a slice of their pizza. So yummy. I hear the breakfast pizza is amazing but I’m never up that early. LOL. But I know you are. 😊
I use to live in Grand Island, very nice people there.
1:20:20. Corn in the midwest is usually harvested much later like October after it has died and dried out. Corn has to be dried before it can be stored so the later the farmer can wait, the less they have to pay to dry it
Another great video. I'm looking forward to the trip this summer.
Yes, Casey’s gas station is a big deal in the Midwest. They are based in Iowa and have a major presence in Nebraska, eastern South Dakota and moving into the Chicagoland market in a big way. They are very clean stores and their food is excellent.
I’ll be crossing that bridge soon! Definitely a beautiful sight!
Love this . Thanks for sharing you make it worth watching. Love your travels Russ. Be safe God Bless❤
awesome amazing archetechure you blew by in sioux city but you found the grain mills interesting
On your trip through Washington State you went through Priest River Idaho and we live a block from the mural you recorded between Sandpoint and Newport, and on the video Michigan's west coast lighthouses you came within a mile of South Haven, my place of birth! Really awesome videos!
🎉
I really do like when you show the places where you stay at night. The RV Park at Columbus was very nice and reminded me of the Park you stayed at in Chama, NM. It makes the whole video more real to me.
Lifelong (39 years) Sioux City resident here! It’s not all it’s cooked up to be. It’s quite boring compared to other big cities. I’m ready to move permanently to the more bustling & lively city of Los Angeles (plus, it’s a bit warmer in LA & I’m not a fan of cold weather).
another great video !!!!!!
The next time you travel across Nebraska you need to take the southern highway. (US 6). It will take you directly through the two biggest cities of Lincoln and Omaha but it is well worth seeing the small towns south of I-80. Minden, NE has a great museum town that you can spend a couple of days exploring.
Hey Russ I noticed most of the small towns you travel thru are always so clean and well maintained. Very enjoyable to ride along and enjoy the views and history. Thanks.
Love your adventures off of the main highways but I’m laughing because my husband gets very frustrated every time you don’t pronounce the “L” when you say railroad 😂. Instead you say rayroad, oh and you say prally instead of probably 😂, that gets him every time as well, but you do you, we still love ya!
You drove right by my house. Im in Manchster between Waterloo and Dubuque.
ANOTHER GREAT 👍 RIDE WITH RUSS 😊
You done some videos of FLORIDA yet ?? Love your channel.
If your ever in the Quad Cities area, John Deere has a pavilion there that is open to the public
We have Casey's in Kansas too. You have to eat one of their pizzas some time...mmmmm
Love their breakfast pizza
Could I request a video from Iowa City to Galesburg, IL? Please post your review! Thank you very much!
While I am happy you visited the River Museum here in Sioux City, I am disappointed that you did not stop at the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center, which you drove right past. Stop by next time you are in town!
Try to show more of the camp grounds you stay in.
Casey’s gas stations originated in Iowa. There is literally one in every small town in Iowa
I think they fenced in the entire town to preserve it. I don’t think this is replicated at least not parts of it. I loved the one room school house.

a full show about your camper technology and set up and what you keep in your camper toilet, stove refridgerator power system for electricity battery backup. my personalopinion but i know you setup your camera for a reason. would a location just below the wind shield have a more acurate perspective? rooftop view looks strange.
none of the houses look the same. everyone is different.
nebrasksa has the longest straightest highway in usa.
Sioux city is a nice place but it gets so boring after some time 😂 wed always end up going to omaha or des moines
1:10:00 raccoon’s are nocturnal and if they are out during the day, they could be sick or rabid. Best advise is to stay away.
🤣@ 31:20.
air boat swap boats are obnoxiously loud. jet boats and hover craft are much quieter.
llewis and clark failed because they did not continue north to the tip of lake superior in duluth minnesota wher they would find the major fur and wood trading with canada and native americans. the great lakes are a major route to the atlantic and europe and asia,
