On my journey of becoming Christian I started watching a lot of christian YT channels and saw some SDA channels without knowing what is SDA. I was so surprised by what the sda channels said I started watching them more. I also started seeing a lot of Christians including the ones I followed., slander the sda church so I started investigating to see if the sda church was a cult. The more I listened to the critics the more I saw they were in error. the SDA channels defended the church very well. I'm glad to say I'm a SDA now.

I like that this channel is about defending faith and not attacking those who believe in our savior, Jesus. So when Myles chose to build his platform to devalue a faith he disagrees with, rather than to uplift the name of Jesus, (truly uplifting the name of Jesus is not according to one’s own belief, because we can be wrong, but in how we love one another and abide in His way). I find what Myles and sometimes Sam does, is actually unChrist-like. Just because he disagrees or doesn’t understand, doesn’t mean he is right. The truth is found in Jesus. Those that worship him in spirit and truth, who are any of us to determine who is saved or not just because they have some slightly different understandings? A "good" member who never questioned her pastors teachings. The following is something I'll draw your attention to because all SDAs are loved by Yehovah and Yeshua. The scriptures in Revelation 2-3 are for the 7 congregations. But the last message to Laodicea is having much to teach us. Especially those of us SDA (I'm still of no church denomination but because I agree with SDA on one point which is Shabbat I use the word we or us plus there are no other congregations that teach what I have been learning in my area) Laodicea is lukewarm. But that isn't only what is alarming. It is the fact that she thinks herself as rich and wanting nothing. Spiritually speaking this means that this congregation thinks itself as having the Truth 100 %. For this reason Yeshua says to her: you are naked,blind and poor. Spiritually speaking they have nothing. Spiritual nakedness means what? They don't have all Truth. Comparing to real life,They may have boxers to cover their private parts but even this is not enough. To make things worse they are blind. Spiritual blindness is having no ability to see spiritually. So even if you read Scriptures you can't see to understand spiritually. Yeshua is loving us who be of this congregation enough to say come buy refined gold from me , white garments, and salve for your eyes so that you can see and be rich and clothed. In love I say this,all the elect that are in SDA must come to that realization and seek the Holy Spirits guidance so that we can see and get on the right path. It isn't easy. The Shamounian is talking, he is suggesting that there is one God with different personalities therefore, if Jesus dies then no one is in charge of the universe for three days. God and Jesus are part of the Godhead along with the Holy Spirit
If Jesus did not die, he did not pay for our sins, and we are yet in our sins! The Roman soldiers that broke the legs of the two criminals hanging on either side of Jesus were very much alive when their legs were broken. When the soldiers came to Jesus, to break His legs they discovered that that He was already dead. This scene at the cross is an undeniable testimony to the fact that Jesus actually died! To entertain the belief that Jesus or anyone else continues to live after death is a buy in to Spiritualism. To ask the question, "Who was running the universe if Jesus was truly dead" exposes a real ignorance of the state of the dead and makeup, function and existence of the Godhead.
Regarding whether Jesus actually died, can I offer my 10 cents? Jesus was totally 100% human. As human as any of us. But He is the only human that is also God. There was, is and never will be any human being who can say he is also God. Jesus was 100% human and Jesus was 100% God. Did Jesus the MAN die? Absolutely and completely, like all of us would. Did Jesus the GOD die? Certainly not. God cannot die. Jesus is the only human being with 2 natures. One human and one divine. When we superimpose our limited humanness on Jesus we are left stumped as to whether He was still alive in some form. If Jesus was only human, then He would have been totally unconscious. The man Jesus was totally unconscious, but not the God Jesus. I (the man Jesus) last my life down and I (the God Jesus) will take it up again. I hope view is correct and consistent with the state of the dead and correct Christology.

When God establishes something by his word it would not be a stretch to consider that His establishing such would provide a perpetual rule that it should be such and not require constant fine tuning like our automobiles. Reading rev 1:1 says the revelation of Jesus given to John was signified by an angel ..this means that it was given in signs and symbols .... The ESV uses "in the spirit" since that is how the greek word "pneumati/πνεύματι" is regularly translated (athough this word can be translated "by the Spirit", used at times in the NT, although less than "in the spirit"). "By the Spirit" is not wrong, but it can go either way, which would mean both interpretations can be correct. So the ESV doesn't nessecarily have a wrong translation, but an accurate translation that is different to the KJV's rendering "by the Spirit." I personally view this verse to be saying that Jesus died according to the flesh and in his divine spirit (the Word) went and proclaimed victory over the demonic spirits aka "the angels who sinned/disobeyed" that were put away in prison & darkness (2 Peter 2:4). Both interpretations can be correct, but I don't think either one should be rejected, since 'in the spirit" would intimate in Christ's spirit which I see as the Word - his pre-incarnate state since an attribute of God is that he IS spirit; whereas "by the Spirit" would intimate Christ preaching to the pre-flood world through Noah by the Holy Spirit which is the view you guys presented. So I believe both views can be accepted and I don't believe that the first verse contradicts the bible's teaching that Jesus died, since we already agree that Jesus in his pre-incarnate state as the Word of Yahweh cannot die, since an attribute of God is immortality, meaning that the flesh of Christ could die, but the divine Word could not. It’s obviously symbolic just like a huge chunk of Revelation is. You’re not suggesting that heaven is people sitting under God’s throne while they wail over the injustice on earth, right? That sounds like a terrible place to be… it sounds nothing like a pleasant experience. The seals speak about the righteous during history and they are directly related to the 7 churches. The 5th seal speaks of the righteous during the reformation who were martyred by the Antichrist, the papacy. This passage is a direct reference to Leviticus 4:7 where some of the blood is poured underneath the altar. This symbolizes the fact that most will reject Christ’s sacrifice and consider His blood as worthless and to be spilled on the ground under the altar instead of being offered for their sins in the temple. Similarly, the blood of the reformers was considered as worthless and spilled liberally by the Antichrist. Furthermore, this is also a reference to Genesis 4:10 where Abel’s blood cries out from the ground. Souls and blood cannot cry out. This is all symbolic. Lastly, one passage cannot disagree with the rest of Scripture which clearly teaches that the dead are in the grave until their respective resurrection.

For example the Souls under the altar as described by John if we dare to say it's just symbolic and that it's not literal. On my journey of becoming Christian I started watching a lot of christian YT channels and saw some SDA channels without knowing what is SDA. I was so surprised by what the sda channels said I started watching them more. I also started seeing a lot of Christians including the ones I followed., slander the sda church so I started investigating to see if the sda church was a cult. The more I listened to the critics the more I saw they were in error. the SDA channels defended the church very well. I'm glad to say I'm a SDA now.

Secondly I have been a SDA , I'm not trying to criticize or wish to do so. I say have been because I've always been a SDA. A "good" member who never questioned her pastors teachings. Many things that I did not know or was in agreement with without questioning which I have now found as not being totally True but wanting is because of my spiritual laziness.
I've been observing both sides the Adventist way of defending the doctrine they have and the Critics and both are lacking. It is very sad for me. On the one side there is a haughtiness and closedness to listening to others in the presentation of truth. It borders on religious Pride in some instances. On the other side there is ridicule , the clear aim to destroy the good there is even if there isn't a 100% truth.
For both there is no reason to be so agressive. TRUTH of Scriptures defends itself on its own. When we try to uphold our doctrines of man or our own interpretations then we create a problem.
The following is something I'll draw your attention to because all SDAs are loved by Yehovah and Yeshua.
The scriptures in Revelation 2-3 are for the 7 congregations.
But the last message to Laodicea is having much to teach us. Especially those of us SDA (I'm still of no church denomination but because I agree with SDA on one point which is Shabbat I use the word we or us plus there are no other congregations that teach what I have been learning in my area)
Laodicea is lukewarm. But that isn't only what is alarming. It is the fact that she thinks herself as rich and wanting nothing.
Spiritually speaking this means that this congregation thinks itself as having the Truth 100 %. For this reason Yeshua says to her: you are naked,blind and poor.
Spiritually speaking they have nothing. Spiritual nakedness means what? They don't have all Truth. Comparing to real life,They may have boxers to cover their private parts but even this is not enough.
To make things worse they are blind. Spiritual blindness is having no ability to see spiritually.
So even if you read Scriptures you can't see to understand spiritually.
Yeshua is loving us who be of this congregation enough to say come buy refined gold from me , white garments, and salve for your eyes so that you can see and be rich and clothed.
In love I say this,all the elect that are in SDA must come to that realization and seek the Holy Spirits guidance so that we can see and get on the right path.

If Jesus did not die, he did not pay for our sins, and we are yet in our sins! The Roman soldiers that broke the legs of the two criminals hanging on either side of Jesus were very much alive when their legs were broken. When the soldiers came to Jesus, to break His legs they discovered that that He was already dead. This scene at the cross is an undeniable testimony to the fact that Jesus actually died! To entertain the belief that Jesus or anyone else continues to live after death is a buy in to Spiritualism. To ask the question, "Who was running the universe if Jesus was truly dead" exposes a real ignorance of the state of the dead and makeup, function and existence of the Godhead.
Regarding whether Jesus actually died, can I offer my 10 cents? Jesus was totally 100% human. As human as any of us. But He is the only human that is also God. There was, is and never will be any human being who can say he is also God. Jesus was 100% human and Jesus was 100% God. Did Jesus the MAN die? Absolutely and completely, like all of us would. Did Jesus the GOD die? Certainly not. God cannot die. Jesus is the only human being with 2 natures. One human and one divine. When we superimpose our limited humanness on Jesus we are left stumped as to whether He was still alive in some form. If Jesus was only human, then He would have been totally unconscious. The man Jesus was totally unconscious, but not the God Jesus. I (the man Jesus) last my life down and I (the God Jesus) will take it up again. I hope view is correct and consistent with the state of the dead and correct Christology.

Many interpret (including myself) Peter to mean that Ananias lied to 2 persons, not just one. Peter is saying that Ananias lied to the HOLY SPIRIT (verse 3), and to GOD (the FATHER) in verse 4.

When God establishes something by his word it would not be a stretch to consider that His establishing such would provide a perpetual rule that it should be such and not require constant fine tuning like our automobiles. So where you read Signified in your version of the bible it is simply and more easily understood to mean 'Made Known'.

Not all strange creatures shown to John in Revelation is symbolic. By that I'm speaking of the creatures that are worshiping at the throne of Yehovah.
The ESV uses "in the spirit" since that is how the greek word "pneumati/πνεύματι" is regularly translated (athough this word can be translated "by the Spirit", used at times in the NT, although less than "in the spirit"). "By the Spirit" is not wrong, but it can go either way, which would mean both interpretations can be correct. So the ESV doesn't nessecarily have a wrong translation, but an accurate translation that is different to the KJV's rendering "by the Spirit." I personally view this verse to be saying that Jesus died according to the flesh and in his divine spirit (the Word) went and proclaimed victory over the demonic spirits aka "the angels who sinned/disobeyed" that were put away in prison & darkness (2 Peter 2:4). Both interpretations can be correct, but I don't think either one should be rejected, since 'in the spirit" would intimate in Christ's spirit which I see as the Word - his pre-incarnate state since an attribute of God is that he IS spirit; whereas "by the Spirit" would intimate Christ preaching to the pre-flood world through Noah by the Holy Spirit which is the view you guys presented. So I believe both views can be accepted and I don't believe that the first verse contradicts the bible's teaching that Jesus died, since we already agree that Jesus in his pre-incarnate state as the Word of Yahweh cannot die, since an attribute of God is immortality, meaning that the flesh of Christ could die, but the divine Word could not. If the Adventist interpretation is symbolic for the fifth seal then shouldn't the rest of the seals be interpreted as symbolic?

It’s obviously symbolic just like a huge chunk of Revelation is. You’re not suggesting that heaven is people sitting under God’s throne while they wail over the injustice on earth, right? That sounds like a terrible place to be… it sounds nothing like a pleasant experience.
The seals speak about the righteous during history and they are directly related to the 7 churches. The 5th seal speaks of the righteous during the reformation who were martyred by the Antichrist, the papacy. This passage is a direct reference to Leviticus 4:7 where some of the blood is poured underneath the altar. This symbolizes the fact that most will reject Christ’s sacrifice and consider His blood as worthless and to be spilled on the ground under the altar instead of being offered for their sins in the temple. Similarly, the blood of the reformers was considered as worthless and spilled liberally by the Antichrist.
Furthermore, this is also a reference to Genesis 4:10 where Abel’s blood cries out from the ground. Souls and blood cannot cry out. This is all symbolic.
Lastly, one passage cannot disagree with the rest of Scripture which clearly teaches that the dead are in the grave until their respective resurrection.
@@Vladi.G do you realize that your literally saying that most of Revelation is just symbolic? Why do you think that's it all right to interpret or say which is literal and which is not.
For example the Souls under the altar as described by John if we dare to say it's just symbolic and that it's not literal. Then we just as well say that there can't be a New Jerusalem in heaven that will descend from heaven when the earth is made new. Neither could the saints be actually serving as priest to Yehovah. Nor do the angels come out of the temple with the bowls of wrath to be poured upon the earth. And literally nothing would happen from that action as turning Earth's oceans and rivers into blood.
Because most everything is not literal. It's just symbolic. So No souls can be or could be under the altar because if it were so in Heaven the that would prove you wrong on other theological and eschatological views. Right?
