Another good video. Thanks for sharing. I think I would feel more comfortable using the hand pump than the electric one. It was nice to see the difference.
I know I shouldn't but i do laugh when you're changing oil on the driveway and the wind gets you each time! I hang some cheap tarpaulin over the door sill, close the door and then weight down the bottom with something on the side the winds blowing from which stops all the "oily underneath spread" you have been experiencing. Subscribed by random a couple of months ago (based on initial RR post) and like the content - your demeanour is so laid back and I enjoy the "don't give a f**k approach! Keep it going Jason
Thanks Joe! That’s actually a really good idea. Given that I’ve been working on cars on my driveway so long you’d think I’d have thought of something like that already but nope… just oil to the face every time
land rover got a chart how much oil to put in and as far as i know once you put that amount of oil in, in starts to come out the filling plug, si in short fill it till it comes out of filler
Not sure really! I need to do more investigation. There doesn’t seem to be as much play as I thought from the driveshaft, and a few people have suggested the noise may be the prop shaft mount bearing. That’s a fun one to get to so will do a video on that!
It’s nice to know somebody else goes through these difficulties. That wind when I’m changing the oil gets me every time. 🙄

@@TyredFormat More than welcome pal!
😂 Do like the sound effects. Gimbal works well 👍🏼
Great video loving the channel , listening to you does remind me of jack whitehall (not a bad thing) 😂
Subbed.
That oil needed changing😀
Diffs don’t get filled up to level plug, they need the correct ML of oil put in. Overfilling causes leaks and issues later on.

Great video Jason! How long do you reckon the diff’s got?

WAIT!! Why are you putting 75-90 in a TC that should take ATF?? You have what sure looks like a 2 speed TC, and those require ATF.
It’s not ATF that goes in the active transfer case. It’s TF-0870 which is SAE 75 oil. So what he put in was the correct oil.
