Your patience is incredible and you’re just the sort of person I would want to do the work on my L322 4.4 TDV8 due to your attention to detail and care.

@@brianellis1257 thanks for your kind comment. At the end of the day, I’m just unscrewing things and putting them back on whilst trying not to break anything! I’ve found that making a video of what I’m doing makes me a little more methodical.

@@Woodyrvf750 Bound to be with a V8 diesel. No escaping the stripping down and refitting with them unfortunately. The mechanics are Polish and 'Old School' - very methodical and they've done some brilliant work solving some suspension probs on mine. They'll be fitting new Bilstein's to the back at the same time. Out of interest, how many hours do you think an experience mechanic would take to do the belts and pulleys?

Epic work as usual! I liked the cardboard template for the bolts! I absolutely hate that LR or if it's ford stopped using gaskets and using f***ing o-rings instead, doesn't work in the long run! Give me a proper paper gasket anyday! Bet that water pump would have lasted until the hole car was a heap of rust flakes! I do get a tiiiiny bit upset when i see bad engineering! Anyway, thanks for the video, let's see what happens next.

@@fredrikedebo4179 thanks for your kind comment. I’m glad you found it interesting. I think the same re the level of engineering on this car. I also have a 1970 Lancia Flavia Berlina. EVERYTHING on that car seems near perfect from an engineering point of view. And, it is not rusty..
Regarding what’s next? I’ve spent this afternoon replacing the rear prop shaft. Fun, fun, fun.

@@kevinabalo the cooling system? No, but there is a slightly weird procedure where I think you have to put the fan on full, with full heat and then once it starts to blow hot you rev the engine to 3000 revs and shut it off. It’s brutal! You should probably check the exact procedure as this is from my foggy memory banks.
