It's a pretty common practice in intensive vocal training programs I used to do the same, and several friends of mine do too. It's pretty good for anybody who needs to move a lot onstage while singing :)
Hell, they're ON a Metallica ALBUM. Their collaborative cover of Enter Sandman with Alessia Cara is mind-blowing. Metallica invited them to do it. It is the FIRST track on the Black Cover album.
If you like Pau’s energy on the drums, you have to watch their TEDx 2017 performance from University of Nevada. You will get it within 10 seconds. And pay attention during the 3rd song, Survive, speaking of Pau and drum sticks! During an interview Dany was trying to figure out a certain performance Pau was talking about - then Pau said “it was the one that I didn’t break a stick”. Dany knew right away.
I don't normally suggest their music videos because i love their live performances so much but if you wanna hear Spanish, Martirio is one of the most beautiful videos I've ever seen and IMO one of their best songs
Gave you a like because Martirio is an amazing song. Though I would argue that the performance from this concert they watched is better. The song is an anthem that needs to be experience with a stadium full of fans. And if you can't actually be there, the video from this show will put you there. Especially the way they mixed in fan-shot footage. To hear the raw emotion in their performance, and see it on their faces when the audience sings along.

Pau had a rental kit at a festival they played and it started falling all to hell pretty quickly. I think their tech Carlos spent a good deal of time trying to hold it together so they could finish the set. Quite hilarious.
Their three main influences are Metallica, Muse, and Foo Fighters. They opened for both Foo Fighters and Muse. Metallica has them on their Blacklist lp which is their 30th anniversary celebration of the Black lp.
They grew up attending a bilingual school, which explains their fluency in English. Their first (released) song in Spanish, _Narcisista,_ is a direct response to criticism they got for writing in English.

Dude, definitely do this concert in total. U'll love it and the TWA will be there for it. On a side note, I am a BNA guy and I was at the Band Maid show at Brooklyn Bowl. Did not know who u were yet. Wish I did and could say thank you for spreading the gospel of The Warning. Don't want to impose on ur life, but if ur ever up for a pint, it's on me.
If these girls had been in the 70s, 80s, or 90s they would already be selling out stadiums and would be on regular rotation on every rock radio station in the US and definitely Mexico. They still should be massive in this era, but unfortunately they might be too rock and too deep for the general public these days. A lot of young people don't understand the experience of listening to a whole album as a journey......... which is how these ladies write their music. I think that's why they appeal a lot to older generations.
They may appeal quite a bit to the older crowd here in the U.S. but the crowd makeup at their European and Latin American shows tell a somewhat different story. The crowds are young and very enthusiastic, to say the least. Just take a gander at any of the band’s fall shows in South America and Mexico and you’ll see what I mean. It may take a bit longer here for the general public to “get” The Warning but the rest of the world is well on its way to being “Warned”.

If you haven’t seen their first ever video on RUclips you have to see it because they are so young and doing a cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman. They were so young and tiny just rocking out, they made the video to show their grandparents how much better they were getting on their instruments and recorded on RUclips and it went viral overnight and they were shocked that so many people liked them and started them on a path to greatness. Lots of great songs from these ladies.
If you want to see Pau breaking a stick, you should try their TedX session from 2017. They performed three songs, the third being Survive which is still a fan favourite and still played live (it's a banger). It is in Survive that Pau breaks a stick and recovers very smoothly I believe they were 12, 15 and 17 in that performance and they kill it.

Have you seen their remake of enter sandman? it is on the Metallica blacklist album. And they perform it live on the concert that you where seeing. They made it their own. Metallica loved how they re imagined it.
