Another shit thing, some people see you ulting and go ultra monkey mode and start focusing on you. With Gojo's and Itadori and don't a problem with that, they can handle that pretty well. But with Megumi and Hakari is so fuckin frustrating. You spent 10 minutes getting your ult, use it, and because your awakining is ass you just get stomped if ganked. Mahoraga have this problem more than any other character, the amount of times the entire server gank a mahoraga and he dies because of ritual is insane.
yeah they could add variants for divine pummel or that stone throw like for example, with the 1st move you do the aerial and slam your enemy into the ground like with yuji's second move or something like that
Mahito is lucky ngl. At first i wanted mahito’s ult to still have a purple aura or something but when i read that comment its a bad bad idea since im a mahito main😭🙏

I think from the pov of this video is from people that take the game seriously, not like actual fun things like A WAR where there’s a story, there’s a climax and a resolution. Unlike those types of teamers that team constantly and does not make the gameplay fun as intended
Nothing wrong with teaming inherently, but the problem comes in when a bunch of people are going after one specific person, and continuing to team and wait for them when they respawn. It really sucks the fun out of the game, and I know people are gonna use the excuse “we’ll just get better so you can beat them🤓” I’m a person with a life and priorities. I play Roblox for fun, not for skill, even then I can managed atleast 2 teamers at once, but when you bring in more people (which is realistic) it gets to a point where the game is no longer fun. How is my skill supposed to pay off if I spam the dash button to burst or get away and from 3 people at once, and they cancel it all? Then repeat once I’m alive again? There’s also the argument “just ask people to help you🤓” that is not an option for everyone, the fortunate ones are the ones with text chat. For us without it the game becomes a lot more unbearable. Though it is a fighting game, not every fighting game has to be technical. The people who play shenanigans just aren’t how they used to be
The biggest problem for me is that most players after you kill them make it their life mission to kill you even when you're at 5hp after fighting them and act surprised that you don't do the same after they kill you
Teaming got so bad in one of the servers I was in that a whole civil war happend there was more lore in this whole 2 hour war than the whole marvel cinematic universe
Also, another problem with me is when people keep targeting after loosin/winning.. like bro, the fight is already finished (it's worse when they win cuz you just gotta stay there and get killed over and over again)

Funny thing is that there is a more “sportsmanship” type of a way targeters could behave instead of just jumping targets out of nowhere, interrupting 1v1-s, etc. Personally when I see someone who is on equal footing or even better than me I want to compete with them and I do it fairly. I make my presence and my intention to have a fair duel known.

jjs is a casual game, not a fighting game, it's a casual game with fighting mechanics, which is why it's called jujutsu SHENANIGANS, and it's also why teaming is normalized
I feel that the only valid way to team is when it is with random players. I say this because most groups of friends who team up on a server are going to defend between each other without knowing the context of why the fight happend and it only takes a single one to get punched by a player to get all of them to target it. this is bad because it causes new players that are learning the game to not be able to because once they engage in a fight they die without being given a chance, the 1 v 1 is an option for them to train on but we know that they won't join them at first because either they consider the mode way too advanced or joined the game for the destruction.
As a fellow Xbox player (who uses a controller to play this game), I understand your pain and feelings heavily to be honest. I’ve never liked teaming or sweats in a game like this but some people misunderstand or just don’t care… thank you for sharing a light on this situation. It’s comforting for someone else agreeing with what I think as well. As far as an Anti-Teaming mechanic, there is actually a game that does do this very well that I can see would work JJS. That game is an Undertale fighting game on Roblox called UTPR. It actually has this mechanic and it works so well to do 1v1, plus you can challenge others in a duel to see who’s better. This is one of the main reasons why I come back to this game, and I ABSOLUTELY love JJS: but I hate this part of the player base.
One time, i popped sukuna ult and i walked like 5 steps, then every single person stopped their fight and started chasing me, had the whole server on my cheeks my friends saw it and we were screaming and laughing for like 7 minutes because of how absurd it was after i got killed trying to world slash
I personally love playing against teamers because eventually winning against them is insanely satisfying, I also manage to learn something new while I'm cornered like that. And since jjs doesn't take itself too seriously (hence not being called a battlegrounds game) it's easier to not take things like teaming too harshly.
whenever i play jjs i try my best to exclusively do 1v1s and will try and stop any 2v1s i see while playing cause it’s just not fair, actually i stick to 1v1s so much that i’m shit at 2v1’s when i’m the one teaming so i’m not really keen on teaming someone. As a duo who always plays with a friend the majority of the time I would say its pretty fun to fight in a 2v2 situation due to how silly or cinematic it would be most of the time, but teaming in general is infact a massive problem when you could instantly die the moment you get hit, depending on how well the teamers synergies connect, but the energy burst is still pretty effective against an uncoordinated team but if its against actually jumpers on a VC then its a different story since your only real option is to run away and try to damage them one by one to either separate or get your ultimate but even then you can't really use any moves if they are HARD pressuring you.
I think we can all agree that Teamers suck but Teaming is fun. also if you're really having such a hard time dealing with teamers, get someone to help you or just join a different server if they're targeting you.

Whenever I try to 1v1 someone I always get interrupted by another person and for some reason they start teaming in me, then another person comes teaming on me until im being chased by a pack of wolves for no reason.
90% of the time u dont stand a chance against teamers. think about it, ur fighting 8 moves, and u can get stunlocked easily. dont try to get an ego boost fighting them. instead just either leave the game or get some friends to help

I do hated each time I try to fight a girl that tried to fight me first then a random dude just pops out of nowhere and start teeming me they either use their ultimate or just spam one move or one combo it's annoying
i feel like teaming esp in jjs should be a good thing, but it def needs to be balanced so its not just a clear slope of failure. bursting is clearly not enough when there are teamers out there who know how to abuse and take turns against someone. i think maybe implementing a buff when youre being teamed on would be interesting, somehow like for honor's anti-teaming system which would give players hyper-armour and crazy buffs who are being ganked.

The cool thing IS how there's no rules. There's no right nor wrong way to enjoy a game with no rules, i'm a proud teamer and i couldn't care less about getting teamed on, same thing for those sweats, that's their way of enjoying it. I like this video, it relates to many of the issues I've had problems with such as teaming and more. Just like you did, I saw someome getting teamed in a server and tried to help them, in the middle of comboing teamer #1, he said, "he was teaming so were killing him" I stopped completely then went somewhere else. since then, everytime i see someone getting teamed on, I tell myself, "maybe he was teaming one of them" and I leave them alone to their 2v1. What would you have done?
I’ll say this teaming can be annoying when your teamed on, but at the end of the day that’s just the nature of Jjk and a game about having fun. Hell some of the best moments in the game were me managing to barely pull off a 2v1 or even 3v1(Only works if they’re bad). Also if you want fair 1v1s go to ranked or casual 1v1s.

I got four partied and they said the wouldn’t stop till I left (I was combat logging my way out of it) they told me to stop combat logging and my friend left so I couldn’t join back.
It also has very bad blocking hitboxes and unless someone is dashing straight at you cant block it because of how small the blocking hitbox is Like literally whoever dashes better wins
I want to be able to take a stand against teamers. I don't want to have to switch severs every 20 mins because I'm getting teamed on. I don't wanna have to go around teamers, I wanna be able to combat them. Plus this way I can have more moments where I'm able to win and do it in a way that is available for everyone to share in that same feeling.
Just until you realize switching servers is going to get you a bad server. Bad server = bad ping. Then you realize you have to switch again, and finally get on a good server, and there is another group of teasers. It's annoying.

They need to make cursed strikes, rapid punches and crushing blow give you i-frames when landed to prevent teamers from interrupting

As a duo who always plays with a friend the majority of the time I would say its pretty fun to fight in a 2v2 situation due to how silly or cinematic it would be most of the time, but teaming in general is infact a massive problem when you could instantly die the moment you get hit, depending on how well the teamers synergies connect, but the energy burst is still pretty effective against an uncoordinated team but if its against actually jumpers on a VC then its a different story since your only real option is to run away and try to damage them one by one to either separate or get your ultimate but even then you can't really use any moves if they are HARD pressuring you.

Whenever I try to 1v1 someone I always get interrupted by another person and for some reason they start teaming in me, then another person comes teaming on me until im being chased by a pack of wolves for no reason.

Bro I’m glad somebody is actually giving valid criticism to the game instead of blindly going like “oh! It’s a shenanigans game not a battlegrounds your supposed to have fun! Stop whining tsb glazer!” I swear everytime I even DARE to summon mahoraga almost everytime the entire server will go like “we’ll use the power of friendship!” and now it’s me against the world even with friends trying to help me. (Doesn’t help that Xbox Mahoraga is big and you can’t make your camera go very far and I haven’t improved enough on battlegrounds to not have to rely on lock on to be able to track my opponent :/) I personally also think the game’s balancing is pretty crappy and the combat system is not enjoyable to put it lightly but man those moments when the server is actually fun and chaotic MAN those are amazing

I find my biggest issue with teaming is actually when my friends try to help me and they break my combo, obviously though 2v1s are very annoying when I get stuck in them
I like to play JJS solely because it has a slightly smaller population of sweaty players.

Nobody is forcing you to play that game mode, but it'd be kinda dumb for someone to complain about teaming and still refuse to play the mode literally designed for them
I do hated each time I try to fight a girl that tried to fight me first then a random dude just pops out of nowhere and start teeming me they either use their ultimate or just spam one move or one combo it's annoying

i feel like teaming esp in jjs should be a good thing, but it def needs to be balanced so its not just a clear slope of failure. bursting is clearly not enough when there are teamers out there who know how to abuse and take turns against someone.
i think maybe implementing a buff when youre being teamed on would be interesting, somehow like for honor's anti-teaming system which would give players hyper-armour and crazy buffs who are being ganked.

There's no right nor wrong way to enjoy a game with no rules, i'm a proud teamer and i couldn't care less about getting teamed on, same thing for those sweats, that's their way of enjoying it. Trying to add measures to limit players' decisions is like making the game's playerbase be limited to only people who think like you do.

I like this video, it relates to many of the issues I've had problems with such as teaming and more. Just like you did, I saw someome getting teamed in a server and tried to help them, in the middle of comboing teamer #1, he said, "he was teaming so were killing him" I stopped completely then went somewhere else. since then, everytime i see someone getting teamed on, I tell myself, "maybe he was teaming one of them" and I leave them alone to their 2v1. What would you have done?

I’ll say this teaming can be annoying when your teamed on, but at the end of the day that’s just the nature of Jjk and a game about having fun. Hell some of the best moments in the game were me managing to barely pull off a 2v1 or even 3v1(Only works if they’re bad). Also if you want fair 1v1s go to ranked or casual 1v1s.
finally someone who gets it. teaming is anoying but at the end of the day its a jjk based game and you cant expect for people to not team. you just suck it up lock in and try to fight.

3:11 that would be cool how about 20% less cool down on your ability’s or if your playing gojo you get infinity harki you’d just ult and get full hp and they do less damage and for maito the domain would automatically activate like in the show yuji a cutscene plays when todo comes and an animation happens all that they end up with half hp and a like 10-20% debuff to everything and a 50% increase to your ult bar

I want to be able to take a stand against teamers. I don't want to have to switch severs every 20 mins because I'm getting teamed on. I don't wanna have to go around teamers, I wanna be able to combat them. Plus this way I can have more moments where I'm able to win and do it in a way that is available for everyone to share in that same feeling.
Just until you realize switching servers is going to get you a bad server. Bad server = bad ping.
Then you realize you have to switch again, and finally get on a good server, and there is another group of teasers. It's annoying.

last time i played this game i got jumped by 4 guys well 1v4 is unfair so i started chessing them with various specs untill i disconected from the game
you cant start a game normally without getting targeted , and the reason for it is "free kills"

i like teaming in this game to some degree, i havent played a lot of battleground games but this game makes teaming actually possible and doing team comboes is fun.
sometimes its annoying like if your 1v1ing and you get jumped or if teamers keep targeting you after killing you once. i team with my friends and sometimes i get teamed on but honestly who cares if you die jumping or getting jumped because of how goofy this game is fun imo.

Mahoragas getting brutally jumped to death is a normality, as a megumi main I just don't use ult and especially not mahorga
