Thanks so much for watching!!! I wouldn't be able to take trips like this without you supporting the channel. PS - don't forget to use code SAMREID3 to get $3 off an eSIM from Airalo the next time you travel! try.airalo.com/therealsamreid
USDA has banned all hormones and steroids in poultry since the 1950s. No hormones or steroids are approved by the US Food and Drug Administration for use in poultry. This effects all places you've been to. Small size is the restaurants' fault.
Dude! A customer just shared this to us, super stoked to have made the top 5 on your list! Glad the reaper sauce was able to provide such thrilling content, and we are sorry to put you through that! That sauce exists solely to punish everyone that was upset we weren’t offering hotter sauces, oops. Awesome video and we definitely support the quest to find good wings, that’s how this whole thing started! Am excited to see how the rest of your journey goes, cheers 😊
I am a buffalo native and was really excited he went to you guys! I have heard good things and while I live in WA have yet to make it down to Seattle to see for myself. This just makes me more excited
I came for a lotr comment if someone starts playing that before I am about to conquer some Wings I'm eating faster than the undead army. Aragorn summoned to destroy saurons forces
I can not express how much I enjoy this series, in the other hand Sam’s videos bring me peace and clam that I can’t describe, just so here for the ride
I'm just getting caught up with this series and I've gotta say that I'm thoroughly entertained. I'm from Atlanta, and was seconds away from suggesting the Local for you to try and then laughed so hard at 9:38 when I saw it was your #1. That place is ALL TIME. Very excited to keep watching!
i can confidently say i’ve been teaching you since you had 10k subs, and i never get sick of watching ur vids man. Every weekend i usually go to taco bell, get 3 doritos locos tacos and some nachos, and put on a Sam Reid video. Makes my week dude, love what you do.
Alaskan here! The sun in the summertime never sets, it’s just dusk. But in the winter time the sun never really fully rises either. I’ll have to try out that restaurant next time I make a grocery run into Anchorage!
Seeing the set from LOST was sick! Its cool that some of the buildings are actively being used for stuff rather than rotting away or having them torn down after production
For Ohio he should either do The Winking Lizard (OG Cleveland Location) or Wings n Rings mostly in the Columbus and Cinci areas which is a lot like Buffalo Wild Wings but MUCH Better But to the uploader Avoid The Harry Buffalo when you do your Ohio Segment though, the Wings are great there but the owner is a POS who recently got arrested for reasons I’d rather not explain
This series never fails to amaze me. Who would've thought I'd be so invested in chicken wings that I will literally never consume?😆 But I'm HERE for it🙌
VINDICTIVE WINGS REPRESENT. I work at the market and I wish I knew you were here I would of 100% threw you some food! Surprised you didn't stop by Athenian inside the Market as that was a huge point in the movie Sleepless in Seattle! Glad we made a mark! Sorry if the trip to the market itself was a bit rough!
I just stopped working downtown, used to work not far from there and never heard of it 😢 I’ll definitely have to head up on the weekend sometime and check it out
The lack of a BM from the night before in Seattle was probably from the long flight over to Hawaii. Flying usually messes your guts up because of the differences in pressure when you’re flying.
Yay!! Been waiting on Alaska since you started this series. My roomie just so happened to order wings that got here right as you were finishing up in HI so I got to eat wings with you, haha.
A lot of Pirates of the Caribbean 2 was folmed on Dominica. I had so much fun visiting Calypso's house, along with so many other scenes. This is a great idea!
Thanks so much for this latest installment of this amazing Wings Quest, any port in the storm my good man, any port in the storm. Looking forward to the next step in the adventure and seriously can't wait for your trip to New York. Safe travels !
Hey Sam, I have been watching your videos for long time and it's awesome to see the channel growing so much! When you had only ~10K Subscribers I knew you would grow fast with the quality of the videos you put out! Keep it up!
I'm a Buffalonian who is obsessed with wings, so I'd like to offer my suggestions for the Buffalo area. Normally I don't put these in order because they're so different, but I know you have limited choices. 1. Bar Bill Tavern (East Aurora)- recommend to try cajun-medium hot(you can combine multiple sauces) and the cajun-lemon pepper. These wings are perfectly cooked if you are able to come here when it's not slammed(id suggest that). Serves wings till 1am. 2. Nine-Eleven Tavern (Buffalo) - Mediums as there aren't lots of options here. Also try their garlic fries! This place is a bit rough. Hole in the wall but not in a great way. 3. Elmo's Restaurant and Bar (Getzville)- Cajun-medium double dip 4. Mulberry Italian Ristorante (Lackawanna) - This is an old school italian place that is beloved by the Buffalo Bills. Because of this they decided to add wings and wow are they good. Get the Medium 5. Adolf's Old First Ward Tavern (Buffalo) - Medium, though I haven't tried a lot of their other flavors. Really feels like that laid back townie bar. Good vibe. 6. Doc Sullivan's (Buffalo) - Medium, Smitty Style, and the Beef on Weck Wings. Same feel as Adolf's for vibe. Really cool spot and solid wings. Overrated spots: 1. Anchor Bar - They may have invented them, but this is a tourist trap who's wings are as good as any corner pizza place 2. Duff's - Wings are cooked terribly here and the sauce unpleasantly creamy. It's just not good. Lots of non-locals like the place though and a few locals swear by it. 3. Gabriel's Gate - I don't get the love this place gets. Like anchor bar, their wings are solid but nothing special at all. The place smells like old mop water too. 4. Wingnuts - An extremely divisive place IMO. Their sauce that they use is entirely different on the different levels of heat. The mild was decent, but the medium tasted like it had something like nutmeg in it. They're also like $2 a wing. I'd personally never go back again. But they're also very popular so...take that for what it is. 5. Mammoser's - These wings are just terrible. There's nothing pleasant about these. I don't understand why this place gets any love.
Every episode of this series is so much fun. Many times I have heard people refer to the burn of reapers as a "whiskey chest" feeling, which I'd say is a pretty accurate title.
Those one second Denver Airport shots again 🖤🖤 heyyyy I'm stoked for the episode when you come here! Not just running through our airport lol enjoy the wings and the mountains 🖤
SO glad you went to Vindicktive! Their wings are wicked and the people there are SO nice, it's honestly one of the best bars/restaurants I've ever been to, and the reaper sauce will GET you
I haven't even watched this video yet but I had to do a double take when I saw you were over 200k subscribers. CONGRATULATIONS! I (like many others) saw your Taco Bell for 30 days video and hopped on the Studio Revue train around the end of 2022. I can't remember how many subscribers you had but I seem to remember it being around 2000. I was astonished at how high quality your content was compared to the size of your channel. Here we are a little less than two years later and you've expanded your fanbase hundredfold. Safe to say your success is well deserved and I'm stoked to see you getting recognition for your hard work. You're crushing it these days and you make me proud to live in Virginia. Thanks for the great content!
always get a big kick out of your vids man, love that you bit the bullet and ate those hot ass wings and kept in your snot bubbles, that's raw authenticity AND you still rated 9.5 what a G
For Missouri I would highly recommend “The Peanut” in Kansas City. As a life time fan of their whole wing approach and killer sauce I know you won’t be disappointed
Excited to see what other videos you were able to record while in Alaska and Hawaii. Always noticed you like to bang out multiple when visiting a region!
Chicken Licks in Sun Prairie, WI. Best wings in the midwest. They're known for their dry rub and original sauce, which is buffalo mixed with dry rub seasonings. They have homemade blue cheese dressing that is to die for. Even if you hate blue cheese dressing, you will love this. It's not like any other bue cheese dressing.
Definitely try the wings from candlelight inn in Scarsdale NY. Adam Richman included it as a food to try before you die and said they were some of the best wings he’s ever tried,
Holy cow. This man flew dozens of hours to Hawaii and Alaska, just to try wings for us! And with a stomach full of reaper wings to boot! What a legend! BTW, try "washing" your hands and face with coconut (or any other) oil first. Capsaicin is fat soluble. The oil will help dissolve it, then soap to wash it off! 🥰🥰🥰
Utah's most deep cut, but by far best wings are going to be Pterodactyl wings at Bricks corner in SLC. So unique, and the sauce is just so damn good. Please give it a chance if youre able.
I don't think I agree with your rating for fire on the mountain but I gave you a thumbs up for fact checking Colorado. They always try and take credit for our stuff.
This series will be a timeless watch. Love the content and effort displayed so beautifully and consistently. Now, Utah has decent wings but it feels like just one recommendation can just be a pitfall. If I could tier the top 3 to help in your decision, it would be the following: 1.) Scovilles - The new kid(restaurant) on the block that has been by and far the best wings in the Salt Lake Valley. This one is a no brainer. 2.) Wing Coop - This was the perfect hole in the wall joint for wings. Their sauces still to this day are the best I have ever had. Unfortunately, their quality has dropped off slightly over the years but still one you should consider. 3.) Trolly Wing Co. (TWC) - Meh at best. Your classic wing joint that got big, expanded with more locations, and has now just fallen off. Still, not awful, but the other two are much more worthy of your time in this quest. Appreciate it and can’t wait for the Rockies next!
Colorado: Outlaw wings in Broomfield. Their Bootleg blueberry is their most famous but I like their Carolina BBQ flavor. Ohio: Fatheads in Middleburg Heights. Their smoked wings are HUGE and delicious. Very highly recommended!
I am getting so excited for you to come to Colorado!!!!! And because at this point, I can't not mention PIPER INN in Denver!!!! AND WILLYS WINGS in Morrison (by Red Rocks, you should see a show there too!!) There is an amazing Vietnamese restaurant near Pipper Inn, called Golden Siagon... Just saying!
For Montana wings I think the best I've had were at 406 Kitchen & Taproom in Billings, MT. They were on the small side but stayed crispy even after a while of being sauced. Their Buffalo and Coconut Curry flavors were both great.
Some others in the comments were saying Desperado in Missoula, MT. I just went and checked it out. It was a good wing place but it will depend on what attributes you find most important. Their wings were really big and meaty but left some crispiness to be desired. Also the hot sauce is more of a chili sauce then a proper buffalo, delicious but not the standard. I would say that Desperado wings were better than 406 Kitchen's in meatiness and heat, but less good in crispiness and sauce flavor.
You're Killing It! I live on Long Island in NY and there are some great wing joints, funny enough my rec is a chain in the northeast called Wings Over. It has the juiciest I have ever tried and I've been upstate to Buffalo lol. You deserve so much more traction, this is top tier RUclips content!
Local Seattlite and I’m so happy Vindicktive has made the rankings that high! I’ve been eating wings from them back when they were doing pop ups at local bars in Seattle. I actually was just there last night to have my monthly dose of wings from them lol. If you’re ever in the area, definitely check them out! Oh and on Wednesdays they do .99c wings from 4pm-10pm!
I'm a picky chicken wing eater. I have lived in Oregon all my life and of all places FOM is one of my favorites, close with Bon Chon. I never thought I'd like a peanut butter chicken wing, but FOM showed me wrong😂
Glad you went with Vindicktive, been eating their wings since before they opened the permeant location you visited. Having had their reaper wings they are no joke
Wyoming Hot Wings in Casper Wyoming is by far the best in the state! I have commented a few times on these videos, but now that it is next up I feel the need to express it again!
lol I live in Honolulu and I love Off the Wall. That's me and my wife's go-to spot for beer since you can get the card and get your own drafts. We even did a Valentine's dinner there lol. Glad you liked them so much! But yeah you missed on not getting Von's and I'd say even though they might not technically be from here, they definitely represent us the most lol. That's basically the only place we go.
Hey Sam I really enjoy watching your videos! Especially while eating food! 😅 as a budgeter myself, do you have tips on how to travel and while on a budget? I’ve been wanting to travel sometime soon but not sure how to start. I found it interesting how you were able to travel I enjoy the format of your videos, I hope your channel keeps flourishing!🫶🏼
When you get to Wisconsin check out "chicken licks" outside of Madison. One of the best in the area, tons of reviews. Looking forward to seeing more of these and hopefully you see my recommendation!
North Dakota: The Parrots Cay in Grand Forks, ND makes excellent wings! Their own buffalo sauce is great, heat level 15 is around a medium heat. A secondary sauce to try would be "shark", same heat level system. If you want the wings crispy, make sure you ask for crispy (it wont make them too crispy to enjoy). Also, Grand Forks, ND is right on the Minnesota border so logistically you wont have to travel far into the state.
Thanks so much for watching!!! I wouldn't be able to take trips like this without you supporting the channel. PS - don't forget to use code SAMREID3 to get $3 off an eSIM from Airalo the next time you travel! try.airalo.com/therealsamreid
How perfect! I’ll be visiting Spain next month, so I’m glad I can make use of this sponsorship! 🎉
It bugs me that I can’t just see the entire leaderboard somewhere.
USDA has banned all hormones and steroids in poultry since the 1950s. No hormones or steroids are approved by the US Food and Drug Administration for use in poultry. This effects all places you've been to. Small size is the restaurants' fault.
You should go to Pete's Tavern in Bronxville, NY and make sure you go there on a Monday evening cause they have a special wings deal that day
I will keep commenting this on every video till you make it to Westchester new york (specifically bronxville)
Dude! A customer just shared this to us, super stoked to have made the top 5 on your list!
Glad the reaper sauce was able to provide such thrilling content, and we are sorry to put you through that!

if you guys arent using extract then i definitely want to come. im curious to dry the reaper wings since i eat ghost peppers like fresh berries
@@TaylorPhase no extract! All fresh peppers… Carolina reaper, ghost pepper, habs, some vinegar and dry spices
@@VindicktiveWings sounds good, may have to check it then!
@VindicktiveWings YOOOOO I'm a Seattle native and I LOVE spicy wings. I need to check you guys out!!!
I can not believe this man actually licensed LOTR music for this video. What a legend.
It took me a second to trust what my ears were hearing. Epic!
I came for a lotr comment if someone starts playing that before I am about to conquer some Wings I'm eating faster than the undead army. Aragorn summoned to destroy saurons forces
Absolute legend.
He always licenses the good stuff.
Most RUclipsrs won’t even use real words because they are so scared of being demonetised yet this dude blows money just for our enjoyment.
My guy - you had the hottest wings the night before a flight to Hawaii?! You’re a mad man!
I can not express how much I enjoy this series, in the other hand Sam’s videos bring me peace and clam that I can’t describe, just so here for the ride
You said it, I feel the same way. Some of the content on youtube thrives off controversy, this is just relaxing and peaceful... and I love it!
I'm hoping he'll influence others and start a new trend!

Same! Chatums Tap downtown Indy or Ale Emporium for Indiana!
For Ohio he should either do The Winking Lizard (OG Cleveland Location) or Wings n Rings mostly in the Columbus and Cinci areas which is a lot like Buffalo Wild Wings but MUCH Better

I just know you have some other great videos coming from Alaska and Hawaii - I’m always impressed by how well you plan your trips!

My favorite series on RUclips returns! Love it. Also, the peanut in KCMO is the best
Very thankful for this series! I was in Atlanta a few months ago and remembered to try the Local while I was there. Truly the best wings I’ve ever had
Minnesota being in the "Plains" category and not the "Great Lakes" category is like a stab in the heart 😅
And we have 10,00 lakes wtf
Your videos have such a calming and uplifting energy, love your channel

I'm a Buffalonian who is obsessed with wings, so I'd like to offer my suggestions for the Buffalo area. Normally I don't put these in order because they're so different, but I know you have limited choices.

4. Mulberry Italian Ristorante (Lackawanna) - This is an old school italian place that is beloved by the Buffalo Bills. Because of this they decided to add wings and wow are they good. Get the Medium
5. Adolf's Old First Ward Tavern (Buffalo) - Medium, though I haven't tried a lot of their other flavors. Really feels like that laid back townie bar. Good vibe.

We finally got to see what the PNW picks were! Hopefully next time I go to Seattle I can go to Vindicktive! 😁
6:25 vindicktive wings are the best wings ive every had, hot buff is so good
Wyoming Hot Wings in Casper Wyoming is by far the best in the state! I have commented a few times on these videos, but now that it is next up I feel the need to express it again!
Thank god you're gaining subs, you deserve it
i love this channel this content is gold
My favorite wings are at the Lakehouse Pub in Skaneateles, New York. Good size and fried to perfection.
lol I live in Honolulu and I love Off the Wall.
Man I look forward to this series so much. And I love LOST!
you're a legend, sam! great videos
Once again recommending Golden Flame in Colorado. The Golden Flame sauce is so delicious and their classic buffalo "Cool Flicker" is incredible.
I don’t know why your channel doesn’t have more subscribers your content is so good dude!
