- In today’s video we do a series of exciting upgrades to my Mk2 Ford Focus ST-1.
We started by upgrading the Ford Focus ST-1 interior to the specification of the Ford Focus ST-3 and the Ford Focus RS.
We also installed some very smart Autobeam ambient colour changing LED fog units in replacement of the standard Autobeam fogs units from last year.
Give your vehicle a unique and stylish look with the new Autobeam LED Ambient Fog Unit, allowing you to change the colour of your fog lights to any colour you wish through the ambient colour changing app. The unit can also produce a magnificent driving light, up to 250% brighter than standard, while retaining a classic cool white LED light with a colour temperature of 6000K.

@@Chasemcloud5745 To be fair the lengths and cost some people have gone to to "make their ST an RS" I wonder why they didn't save and wait or get a bigger initial loan. Probably cheaper in some cases for sure.

The leather seats are mint so comfy and on long trips to bd performance 🙂
good video! its personal opinion but I think the leathers instead of bucket seats are a downgrade. It honestly depends on what you want from your car but not my taste. Shame because I was watching this build since day 1 literally. I hope there will be more show car content. But overall sick video
Did you get the seats to heat mate, if not, they do have their own fuses. The switches will light up as they are wired into the same light circuit as the other switches 👍. I’ve been doing car audio, security and electrical work for 20 plus years so know what I’m talking about pal. I run a car audio and security in Cornwall 👍

I’m currently having the same issue with my front plate. How did you secure it to the grill? I think I definitely prefer the original ST-3 recaros. Once my car budget allows I’m gunna get mine retrimmed. Haven’t decided what to go for yet though 🤔 car is looking sick GCM!
I did not know, it is possible to see ST 1 .... who would buy it .... this is why Ford scrapped ST 1 ....

Whats the point in wearing a mask to cover your neck?
They are my bubble anyway being my workplace however the mask was for other shots that people off camera where nearby in. The workshop is big enough and shutters open may aswell be outside. But yes I’m aware it looks silly when I was editing

Fitted ST500 seats and customer red insert door cards to my old ST2 in 2014, straight swap, plug and play when you've added the heating switches/controls. Still an ST2, not an ST502 or ST500 (though it looked like one being black). No need to change the alternator either.

Police enforcement Evos do have the front number plate off to one side, but isn’t that standard for an Evo and wouldn’t they also have an angled mount so it faces forward properly? However, I could be wrong!!
The only mod i'd do is change the front bumper, the front wings and the bonnet to get rid of those ugly pre-facelift headlights.
Id just put your plate in the middle where its supposed to be. Better for your engine performance. Performance over looks any day.

If u get a numberplate surround as well u can take plate off and on at shows or for photos and put custom plate on or just your utube name .

good upgrade to do to the focus mate, however its a common one, loads of ST owners will have put the nicer seats in them. good idea but deffo not the first :)
Dw I know that. I’m simply referring to the st1 plus 3 bits. And the additional mods my cars way more advanced than a standard st3 ;)
@@GCMYT you've just got to get keyless door entry, climate control, starter button, headlights, dials and display, front and rear bumper, new wings, headlight washers, ESP, Visibility Pack, DDS, heated front windscreen and you might... just come close :)

RUclips is my full time occupation and in order to both work and keep making useful content for my viewers that benefits them it sometimes requires essential travel. My work with the Police is highlighting road safety and encouraging proper vehicle maintenance/modification within legislation. The trip to BD Performance who sponsor the channel was to rectify issues highlighted in the Police videos as well as other essential maintenance.
The content will hopefully encourage others to rectify any modifications they may have that could be deemed illegal and make the roads safer for all.
Relevant authorities were consulted before making this journey.
