- In today’s video, we install a full Powerflex Purple Polybush kit to my Mk2 Focus ST225 including the ever so popular Anti Lift kit.
While we were at it we also installed a full powder coated set of subframes and accessories and finished it off with a basic underbody restoration thanks to Lee Bennet Media.
POWERFLEX bushes improve your cars' road holding and chassis performance by controlling the amount of unwanted flex in the suspension. This means your suspension is doing what it is supposed to. It means your tyres have greater contact with the road at all times, therefore, improving safety and performance.

About the only time we'll see the BD boys as their channel has died RIP BDP. Lee is now a full time mechanic as his video skills are no longer needed 😂
So glad your uploading again! Top class! My favourite RUclips ever! 🎉 can’t wait to see the new lights and cham tint ❤

Can’t wait to see what’s next!
Yea buddy :)
Excellent choice to do the polybushing and subframes. 👌🏻👌🏻
This was one of the first things i did on mine along with the LSD. I would recommend you look into air ride and the underbracing and also the hardrace drop links etc. I have to say they transform the car to another level. I think literally the only mod left to do on mine now is the 4WD conversion which i am now starting to collect parts to do it. Really like what you’ve done to your car mate and the attention to detail and effort you have gone to. Having done it myself i know exactly how rewarding it is. The MK2 ST will soon be a rarity with all the people that have abused and ultimately ended up breaking them. Keep it nice and soon you’ll have a unique example.
Excellent work buddy 🤙🏻🤙🏻
What a legend. Did you ever manage to get the 4x4 done?
Amazing! Where did you get the front subframe bushes from? I can’t seem to find any! 😩💪🏻
Great video pal
Thanks my guy
Have you done a video on swapping the pre-facelift mirrors to facelift ? This is something i want to do on my own car
Car keeps getting better and better George
Thanks Sarah. That’s the plan. Lots of hard work to come for sure
Ahh proper job mate. Bet she really does handle spot on now 👌🏼
Legend bro. Haven’t really tested her properly just yet. A few loose ends to tie up first. But thanks for watching Rob
@@GCMYT mate, I bet u will love it 😁 ahh no worries man. I loves ur content 😁
Looking fresh 👌 😎
Thanks bro
Should of powder coated it a different colour. I did mine in dormant electric blue (the Hardrace colour) and everyone loved it.
It wont let me post any links in the comments so i emailed you the photos. Would love to hear what you think.
Where did you get your subframes?
Nice 👌 ❤️
Would you be able to give a small review after a month or two??
Doing the same on my ST at the moment but its been fully stripped and repainted underneath, most things going back on are new. With alot of hardrace parts 😂
Hardrace are great. I have a hardrace rear anti roll bar :) nice job
You got the full on mod bug to then by the sounds of it 😂😂🤙🏻🤙🏻
GCM IS BAACK
Looks clean, how much did this job cost ?
There is a few ranges of this job. It’s a few thousand pound for sure. A full job can go as high as 7-8k
What's the ballpark cost on something like this? 2 days labour + parts?
Also, what did you end up doing with the rear brake shields?
Yeah rough cost would be great to know. And is it a noticeable difference?
Not cheap. I’m at a the 80k mark spent on mine which included taking it back to shell and full rebuild. I don’t think there is anything standard left. Even rehoned the doors to accommodate the extra looms and wiring i added. Once you start it becomes an obsession. A big shout-out to RSH performance for all the work they did on mine. 👌🏻👌🏻 The ST in this video is also a serious player👍🏻
You have spent £80k on a focus ST?
🔥🔥🔥
Legend Tom. Thanks man
How much does it cost for all that
How much does it cost?
That looks like an expensive job
surprised about rusted ford? not even slightly
WTF rost😱
