They didn’t have anything to gain from killing his children. No social security benefits so there was no reason to.

I think it's rather unfair for people in the comments to complain about the number of breaks or how short the days are. These aren't "short days" when you're listening to evidence. And all the lawyers have other cases, the judge has other fixtures, the jury members have their own obligations ... and for the jury, it's an awesome, frightening responsibility. They'll decide Chad's guilt or innocence. they must be exhausted at the end of the day.

What's all stuff about the stairs in the Daybell house? Was it because Chad was working "upstairs" that night Tammy died? This is confusing
He told a story at the funeral to someone about Tammy coming down stairs and then the defense said there were no stairs in the house. So now it's become a back and forth of whether there are stairs in the house or not.

So there are small kids on the Daybell side as well? I thought all of them were grown up because there is zero mention of them in this trial (or I missed that) - they lost their mother (and their father), probably realized their father is a criminal... It must be horrible for them, doesn't it? Do they live with older siblings now or grandparents... What happened to the family? Are some of them brainwashed and follower of Chad's cult or do all of them oppose him?
Sorry, I commented to soon. Just now they talked briefly about the children (not about their ages). I guess all Daybell-children are adults, otherwise it would have been mentioned at this point.
(Although there was also mention of a plan to "take the children to Disneyland" which sounds odd to me personally if they are adults. Confusing.)
