  • We open our month of Advent & Christmas music with this BBC TV broadcast on 13 December 1998 The programme was the third in a series of four sung by the choir of Lichfield Cathedral, directed by Andrew Lumsden.

    Lichfield cathedral is such a beautiful place, it's grounds and surroundings are fairytale like. This advent service is so nice, it was touching to hear John's story as well, it can indeed only get better... Thank you :)

    Good to hear at least one traditional choral piece - Ex Ore. I thought the trebles made an excellent job of it, though perhaps a few softer dynamics would have been worth trying...
