Sisters that bonk their heads together, stay together! Excellent choice to do the stone wall. Always amazes me how many different plants can be put in a smaller space and look awesome! Those Concord barberries take zero attention, which is great because they are prickly, are drought tolerant, but they bring a nice dark colour to the garden!
    Thanks for sharing Monica's space.

I love this little series because it is closer to what, I assume, a majority of viewers can accomplish in their own gardens. Your acres of land are gorgeous, for sure, and I love watching them develop, but this shows people with a modest spaced yard what they can do to make their own sanctuary. ❤ It’s going to be beautiful.

I think what I love most about this video is hearing Laura celebrate her sisters space. Laura has acres and acres of land. And yet she stands in awe of how beautiful her sisters small space is going to be. Very generous love, Laura.

Hard scape is a game changer. Dramatic difference right here. It’s a big investment, but it changes everything about the space - how it’s used, the feeling presented, and how it contributes to the beauty of the house. Just beautiful.

I imagine sitting on the patio enjoy a cocktail and/or a meal, see all the green (and otherwise) things growing around you and having the soothing sound of trickling water in the background - an oasis for sure. Well done you two - well done 😁

So happy for Monica & Nick! With each passing season, this design will become more and more beautiful as the plants become established in their new homes and thrive! I love that Monica considered how the garden will look in the evening with a drift of David phlox.
