There is a guy doing what he enjoys. Great job
You're doing a great job and I'm one to know what it takes to build a car. My project is a Volvo 460 that I'm converting to 5-cyl turbo and awd, will be street legal but it's a hell of a job. Cheers from Sweden.
Nice clean build so far. Nice to see local business build quality products. Keep up the fantastic work.
Awesome… go into as much detail as you can… we love long format, detailed stuff especially about Audi😍
Glad you enjoyed the episode! ❤️😎
Can't wait for that unicorn to start up❤❤
wow!! nice! some manly work and even a pooch. Thanks for the action and superb coverage of the build. THOUROUGHLY enjoyed this🙏🙏🙏🙏
❤❤❤
Love the doing vids even more than the talking vids. That grin on your face when you lined up all the pressure sensors, thats wat building a race car is all about. Keep it up!!
Absolutely awesome
That aluminium hard line is brilliant, Did my under car fuel lines with it, very easy to use.
Great video, can't wait for the episode on engine build.
You need to go back and watch previous episodes from the first episode of this project build because engine is already prepped & mounted on the chassis, along with gearbox and
transmission prop-shaft, he did say engine was already tuned & tested is 5 cylinder of new generation TT-RS.. wheel knuckles + A-arms are sourced from Audi R8.. Cheers..
That exhaust and properly done heat shield looks a work of art.
It’s such a nice job, will be showcasing more in the next episode! ❤️🤟🏽
Yay! More doing!!!
👀😎
stunning build as im old enough to remember the first Quattro's blasting through Kielder and the group b cars carnt wait to see this
Now this is the way to build a race car!
That crimp machine is a handy thing to have! 👍🏻👍🏻
For sure I love being able to just make my own hoses up when needed
Good video, like the techy input but dub it overyou doing work
love the doing!
😎 Happy you’re enjoying the series!
What a great build 👍🏼
Your perfection is really satisfying to watch.
This is such a cool build series and it was great to see some dooing!
Glad you enjoyed it! Can’t wait to film and edit the next episode! 🤟🏽
Woooooooo! 🎥❤ It's here!
Great vid my son. So pleased for you.
Great vid my son. So pleased for you.
Hy man.. i understand you are behind the camera filming this.. So please man, you could ask him if he want to talk about on one episode if this project when it will be finished to show when is ready to someone original engineers or racing department Timo from Audi just to see they reactions regarding this special project or maybe speak out with Walter Rorhl maybe he will agree to see it get his signature on the build and let him do a test i'm really overly excited.. really hyped enjoy every episode and so far i push the like for all these clips ! Tank you .. ( i used to watch before this series build Ken Block (RIP) went to Audi in Ingolstadt to test both the Group-B Audi S1 EVO and Group-S RS-002 one-of secret prototype that survived..
@@poplaurentiu4148 Thanks for your comment my friend. We are working on getting some people involved who are legends at Audi. We’d love to get Walter to test the car & if we could get any of the original engineers to feature in one of the episodes, that would be mega too! We also might have a chance to interview the original photographer who took the photos of the car and published them back in the day. ❤️ Glad you’re enjoying the series, so far!
@@AxelGrassi Tank you man ! so much appreciated your positive response.. i really enjoy & love this mini series so much.. i can't describe it in words, is really epic to watch something special like this happening ..
Great
A quality bespoke build; right up there with Project Binky.
Attention to detail is explicit dave .ihave 2x fiesta st maxi's need building before Sept if you run out of things to do😂😂😂
As a complete car ignoramus I am very interested in this build. I found this episode very engaging as it was showing some of the practical side which I like. I think Snoop however, still remains the star of the show! 😅😅 Have a great Chriatmas Dave. From Amalia, Axel's Mamaaa.
This build is really epic.. So i fully agree, i do enjoy myself every episode of it.. Happy Holidays everyone !!!
Atec stuff is lovely isn't it, i'm using the same hardlines for fuel, clutch and brakes on my car
Rollbars looks to already be in place
Great work Dave 🤙🏼
Thanks fella
Lovely build, and looking great .One thing I noticed is the way you plumbed up the jacks, I have been building race cars for 30+ years, and always try to match the lengths of the pipes.
Feed run in the middle of the car & equal lengths to each unit, from a T or four way fitting.
This way the car lifts evenly, other wise it will go up like a camel !
Not saying I am right, but that's how I do them.
Yeah as I get what your saying, The other Audi I have has equal-length hoses and all that happens is the car raises and lowers with the heaviest end first
Hi Dave, I just hate cars going up unevenly, side to side. Air finds the easy route first.
I also use a ball valve on the air lance, allows a gentle supply of air to the jacks, easy to control @30Bar+.@@EPSDaveRowe
@@victormildew1717 Good shout on the ball valve as I don't want a fast pit stop so I don't need the jacks to exhaust off to quick. A gentle landing is always good
Hi Dave. I use Oetiker Swing airline couplings on my jack hoses.
Female on the hose, male on one side the ball valve, female on the other.
Male on the lance. This way you can disconnect the hose, leaving the jacks under pressure. Added bonus is you can let the jacks release slowly.
Cheers.

When you invest so much money on tehnologocal parts and lines I would save money to protect this kind of cars bottom plate or cover material underneath everything to keep that tehnology save and as I say sound to make bottom cover plate out of titanium as thick and large enough that nothing can hurt those pits and parts and your car comes also more stiff and wount pend so easily.
Art or car build...hard to tell the difference!
🤣❤️
23:02 ULEZ Penalty charge. Great,
🤣 was hoping someone would notice that 😂😂😂
👍
Great episode and thank you for showing a bit of your expertise. Will you be selling body kits? I have a Michelle Mouton Commemorative GT Coupe shell and AAN so very inspirational build to say the least.
Dude you need to clean your mill!
You an Aussie mate?? Shout out from Melbourne Australia. Killer build, even more killer dog!!
For sure I am also from Melbourne. Living in the UK now. Thanks for the comments 👍
Yes
always DIN over British BIN
When the people who were involved with the original "Ghost Car" got in touch regarding thus build how did they react to your build or dud they red flag any part of the design at all? Merry Christmas .
Howard mots they make dif on presure?
Yes huppy jul ok loistavaa!
Can't believe there's been no swear words Mr Rowe 😳😂
I know its very hard.... LOL
use aluminum pipe in your car for water
Please do continue to use safety glasses… even though this isn’t a ‘how to’, a lot of impressionable young people watch channels like this and follow suit… the Americans seem to love not doing anything safely and like to shout ‘safety Sally’ at any comment on the subject.
The worst I see is no safety glasses and an angle grinder with no guard… they even use cut off wheels with no guard for grinding 👀… even with a disc guard in place a pair of safety googles (not glasses as sparks can get behind) and a full face guard should be considered the minimum… a piece of grinding disc or cut of disc to the face makes a hell of a mess. Same for wire wheels 👍
Keep up the good work.
why 07k though? i think the 20v nardo engine would be correct, but a standard 20v could also do it. btw i think the original front wishbones on the rs001 were similar to the s2 cast wishbones.
It is a 2023-2024 version and then of course it must have the best modern parts available today and an 07K is much better than the old 5-cylinder engines.
@@MartinEhrsson i am not too convinced that the 07k engine is better. first of all it has a cylinder head with rockers instead of the cam lobes operating the shims/lifters directly. its a worse engine by many design features imho. the only thing it does better, is that its lighter and more compact for a slightly bigger displacement.
@@2ndnb536 I have never met anyone who replaced an 07K engine in his RS3 or TT-RS with an old eg AAN engine, have you?
I think you should say that the old engine is much better, to Hank Iroz and all others that builds 1000hp++ 07K engines :)
Then TPSmotorsport also uses the 07K engine in the other cars, so it is of course clear that he continues with the 07K in this car as well with all the advantages the 07K has over the old ones.
And you may not know that cylinder head with rockers is the same type as used in Lamborghini and you have many advantages with rockers, watch this youtube video about 07K: ruclips.net/video/pYhnllDqsxc/видео.htmlsi=27JeWmTGcEq8I56T
Loving the extra "doing stuff" but please lose the screechy music between clips/intro. When you next do a loom build for yours or customer you'll be surprised how many of us would like to see it happen, even crimps! :)
Why ABS on a rally car, is it only going to be used on tarmac ?
Launch control?
Its going to be used on Tarmac and Hillclimbs so the ABS is a good performance advantage
Is this a re upload? Lovely build.
Yeah sorry as I had a copyright issue so it had to be reloaded again.
@@EPSDaveRowe thoughts so. Watched it again anyway lol 😆
@@richardbroom4324 LOL thanks for the extra views
hi what is the engine model you are using ?
Its an 07k 2.5L Audi engine
@@EPSDaveRowe thanks for replying would that be out of what audi please.
Sorry what Yo Do Day thing normaly?
He tunes and is an all round genius for a living 😅
I have one complaint.....the videos are too short!!!
Oh gosh, 25 mins for this video was already hard enough to piece together 😅 I’m gonna suffer on the next one if it’s any longer 😉 Glad you’re enjoying the series though mate, merry Christmas! 🎉
That exhaust and properly done heat shield looks a work of art.
It’s such a stunning job!
