This is the best build project i've seen for many years, the fact you are building a car that doesnt exist and will be 1 of 1 is mind blowing. Cant wait to see/hear it go
Wooooop 🎉 I’ve said it before but it’s a real pleasure filming this series. Getting to witness such magic up close and personal is truly a real privilege. I’m so excited to see this thing once it’s fired up 😎
A very engaging series Axel.👍
Having such a chance to go along Dave also into other motorsport business partners for this project is also a cool thing..
This is an incredible lovely journey and tanks to you we can see all tedious processes until the outcome of Grumpy..
Tank you ! with every episode we learn something new !
Very professional production

I have watched all 10 parts in one single time. Such an intresting serie, can bearly wait for next episode.
What a beautiful puzzle that is. Your clips are pure relaxation!
❤️😎 Glad you enjoyed the video! 😊
Keep doing these interlude videos with sponsors and suppliers, really helps the knowledge and story 👍
As a huge audi quattro lover . And car of my dreams . This build is priceless
Thank you guys for making this car and to document it! 😊 I can’t wait to see the finished product!
Our pleasure!
Damn, those calipers wouldn't look out of place on a MotoGP bike ffs!!! Monobloc, radial mount, oh my...i can see why you couldn't stop playing with them Dave...
😍
Love the Alcons. With my long term car build I plan to upgrade several things slowly but surely over the years, running wilwoods now, to be fair they work great, but the plan is to go for something like Alcons at some point, then upgrade to something like Ohlins for a shock upgrade. Can't beat the quality and performance from brands like these.
Created a legend in your own lifetime . Respect ,uniqueness and individual inspiration.
A lot to take in there. May need a couple, or more viewings. Very cool brakes…..
nice vid , loved the tech stuff
Glad you enjoyed!
Every time I watch the start of this build I’m in ore of the Quattro rally car just still blows me away the noise and skill of Walter , Ari and the legends of the sport !
Loving this build so far, so unique and I love all the little mechanical details! Can't wait to hear this thing roar and swing its rear around in the dirt!
What a build!
Nice tour and talk of a Top Quality Brande and products.
Looking Fantastic installed. Will perform as good as they look
Great coverage about the braking with alcon, and no screechy music so double thanks :)
I hadn’t spotted you have very manicured nails Dave… nice touch with the black nail varnish tips… better than the normal black grease and dirt and practical as it hides any dirt as well 😂
These things look awesome…
😅😅That thumbnail!! 😅😅😅 Looking forward to watching this tomorrow. Bed calls for now! 💤
lol glad you liked the thumbnail we were cracking up when we made it 😂
What diámeter are the discs and bolt pattern?
Maybe in other videos you say that was Audi r8 spindle?
Surprised you didn't torque the floating disc bobbin fasteners .
😎👍👌
Awesome! Nice! Just a question, isnt a smaller brake piston generating higher pressure as per Pascal's law? So i think if the brake calipers are not in any other way reducing the hydraulics, it shall be the big piston at the bottom? Im just curious and also i am not sure if it is like that, sorry 😂
At the caliper end the larger the piston the more pressure. It's because of the larger service area. So that's why a small piston is first then large last to even out the pad contact
Thanks!
Sorry for asking, but is an Audi 80 2-door used for the front of the car?
Don't like those weld on washers
