Need: I have the opposite painting project in mind. I have a unsightly large round aluminum disk vent located on my brown asphalt shingled road front roof. I would like to have the smooth faded brown metal finish paint blend into the asphalt shingles texture better than if I used a rattle can to repaint the circular vent dome. Question: is a consumer paint system with granular aggregate texture available on the paint market to paint these aluminum or steel metal vents on my home to match the texture of the existing asphalt shingles?
I call the company that made my metal shop and they have me the number to the metal company that actually paints it. Then I talked to the paint manager and he gave me the exact color code that just happened to come from S. Williams. It was an EXACT match. No color matching.
