      @@lifegracefaith a cam is only good for 40-55whp depending on cam. A super charger/procharger definitely makes more power but its several thousands more than a cam. You still need to upgrade some of the same parts as well, so 1/2 of this work is repeated.

    • @YellowVette04
      @YellowVette04  4 года назад

      @@lifegracefaith that's awesome. Wish I had roads like that by me, but there's a cop around every corner instead lol. What suspension upgrades have you done? I was thinking of starting with C6 Z51 sway bars and C6 Z06 shocks. Don't think I'll ever need coilovers, probably won't need the C6 upgrades either but that's not why we do it lol.

      The cam and tune will wake that ls1 up.. I have the BTR stage 4 cam with the RPM level 5 trans with a 2,600/2800 converter.. Google sweet Corvette on you tube it's a 30 second video of the sound.

    THAT IS JUST ABSOLUTELY AWESOME.
    It's more than I want to tackle myself.
    I'm 70 years old with a heart condition.
    I wish I was able to do it.
    It's great to be young and fit.

      It also helps to know people who have the tools and means to do this type of project. I borrowed as much tools as I could bc buying it all would have negated almost all the cost savings. Still fun project and definitely need to be young. I still felt pains for months and needed to see a chiropractor afterwards 🤣🤣. Thanks for watching and commenting

    Quick trick with any tierods, the raised spot on the knuckle where the tierod goes through, couple taps of a hammer, it will fall out on a good day, and on a bad day one tap of the hammer on the nut like he showed and it will fall out.
