Fellow silver 2002 c5 corvette owner here! although unfortunately it is an auto.. still a lot of fun, and convenient in my city, which is extremely hilly. Great vid and lots of useful info!
Not Bad! What a great upgrade and replacement of important components. I had my auto trans rebuilt with a performance kit and it cost over 4K. Gotta take care of the aging Vette!
That’s how I look at it too. Can is cool but got a good look at the pistons and cylinder walls now have a completely fresh valvetrain. Totally worth it
@@SpeedCultureStudios what’s going on buddy. Just got a sub from me. Congratulations on your journey with the c5. Great platform to build off of. Like you said you will probably spank the majority of vehicles on the road. I’m gonna say your dyno will be some where in the 440-460 range. Just a guess😆. But I’d I’d like to chat with you bud. You stay in Greenville and I’m about 2 hrs from that area and would love to get my car cammed as well. Interesting in knowing who the installer was to do mine. Can’t wait for more vids bud and a response. Thx again.
@@kevinlowry7608 thanks Kevin! I replied to one of your other comments but if you check out Crocker Performance on Facebook you’ll find the info. Does great work!
What shop did the work? I'm in Spartanburg. I'm about to install Kooks headers and Borla axle back on my Z06 over the winter and I'm planning on taking it to V8 Muscle in Greer to get the tune done.
Yep I’m going to Charles for the tune as well. I had Crocker Performance do the install. He works very closely with V8 Muscle-actually they recommended the shop for the install.
@@SpeedCultureStudios Awesome, thanks for the Info. I'm doing the calculus of time to do the work vs. taking it to a shop. I have an extra garage to do the work in but It would be nice to just take it somewhere to get it done.
Nice video, beautiful sound, i just bought a 2002 manual with 37,000 miles,i have a question for you,how is your clutch pedal feel?My clutch feels preety stiff to push down and resistance up is ruff as well, feels like a leg workout,do you have any tips and can this be changed? Its all stock,ty for any information in advance.
I don’t know what you’re asking? There is a break in period for the new cam - at least 500 miles or so. A tune immediately after install is not a good idea.
I love the sound of that cam. Looking forward to seeing your dyno video when it’s tuned!
You got a killer deal on the installation. Nice build
Thanks!

Silver or pewter metallic 😉 Thanks for checking in!! Lots more to come
@@SpeedCultureStudios didn’t realize it was pewter ! Such a cool color. I have quicksilver, sometimes it’s hard to differentiate both on screens, lol
fellow c5 owners mine is 00 pewter cam and all, dyno at 405 rwhp, moderatey set up during dyno. oh it is bad!!!
Good to see you're still around. Channel has been pretty hidden lately. Good show sir!
RUclips does not like me lately. Still posting regularly so just be sure to keep checking in!

What is the name of the shop you went to I live in the area and have a 2004 silver Corvette thinking about getting it cammed
Look at Crocker Performance on Facebook
I think the labor price was pretty fair considering the amount of work done. I can't wait to see the dyno numbers.
Definitely was!
Sounds awesome 😊
Do you have links for the belts, pulleys and tensioners?
Serpantine kit: amzn.to/4dQ1ciy
Acc. Tensioner: amzn.to/48bjfOJ
Acc. Belt: amzn.to/3Nte3fw
@@SpeedCultureStudios awesome thanks!
Maybe another advantage over the supercharger is that your gains are more in the low rpm range which is more important for street driving
So have you had it on the dyno yet? If so I missed the video on it.
No hasn’t been on the dyno yet

I have a monster clutch so it’s a bit stiff. If yours is stock, I’m not sure why it would be stiff-generally they are pretty light in my experience.
Ty for reply@@SpeedCultureStudios
Whats axebacks you have?
BillyBoat
Why wouldn’t you just get it tuned?

No link?
Sorry still no internet after the hurricane. I’ll try to get links up later today!
Sounds so nice….
Love it!
thanks
Nothing else sounds like a cammed Ls. I'd pay 5k for that sound too. 😂
😂 that’s what I’m talking about!
10k?
How many HP per dollllaaaah?
Did you not watch? 😂
I watched some. It ran a little long.
dude your a life saver
Glad it was helpful
I think 5k is good deal for cam install and parts
Yeah not bad
Time for a 0to60 quarter mile video
Should bec350hp stock
Crank hp maybe. With intake and exhaust they dyno around 325. This combination of cam headers and intake will make 376-400wheel hp
2,108.03 is what he spent
Sounds awesome!
