That food looked amazing! Pretty cool tent setup too, interesting design for sure. That's a pretty sweet lean-to you have there, really nice setup. Thanks for sharing!
New piece, congratulations it’s always nice getting something new. Good thing the quilt is a gift Western Mountaineering cost some bucks but it’s worth it. Reputation is impeccable. Nice blade, good luck
Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on the sleeping bag. This is what I bought my grandson to hike the AT and he started February 14 and it kept him warm. I wish you would do a video on how you dehydrate your food
The quilt is amazing! Super high quality. One heck of a gift to get your grandson! I have a playlist of some of my dehydrated meals, but this was freeze dried. We got a freeze drier a couple months ago. Game changer!
Hey Homes! Great video as always. Hats off to Bob's meat, and JP for his knife work. Knife looks sharp! (See what I did there?🤣) Anyway, the tent looks well made from what I could see. Good luck with it. Look forward to some 🛶 videos soon. Take care of yourself and the fam. Best, Joe
I see what you did.......clever! The craftsmanship of this tent is top notch. Went for my first paddle of the season yesterday! I'm pumped. Ready for some trips!
Fun Fun as usual! Bobs bacon is the real deal! It is a pretty incredible place to test gear to say the least! Kinda makes you wanna buy gear to have an excuse to go test it lol. As usual I appreciate the invite, as well as the burrito! And also appreciate dropping the A10 in the video! if folks are curious, I designed the blade to be a working piece. The idea behind the handle shape and the finger choil is to make it easier to use with a gloved hand. It's named after none other than the A10 Warthog. Built to be tough as nails and lay waste to whatever you see fit! Great time as usual, ready for the next adventure!
Nice to see more Seek Outside equipment. The tent is a very interesting design. Having recently found some damage on my silpoly tent, I can say that silnylon fabric of the same weight is much stronger, but the quality of the workmanship is what makes the whole tent what it is. I have a pair of Western Mountaineering down pants that are a part of my winter sleep system. I don't freeze my butt off when I visit the woods in the middle of the night anymore.
Seek Outside makes real nice stuff. No doubt about that. This is a very interesting design...I like it, Lots of room. I bet those down pants are amazing. Mine are cheapos, but they work.
Man those chicken fajitas look good! I like the tent setup as well, I'm a hammock guy but if I was gonna camp in a tent it would be this style with a cot and pad. Great video as always!
Those chicken fajitas were out of control! I am a hammock camper as well. Switched over a few years ago. Been using tents my whole life up until that point. Much prefer hammocks now. That said, I still love a good tent. It is the gear junky in me
Was a bit breezy. Nice looking tent . Unique design. You need to put Bob on your Christmas list . Not sure how long you’ve had the freeze dryer but I know you’ll love it . They’re a step beyond dehydrating . Actually have to go pull some trays in a minute. Looks like it was a good trip . Have a great evening
@@ItsGoodintheWoods got in and set up. Rain and snow started sometime after midnight. Woke a couple of times to rain and knocked the slush off the tarp. Going to stay tonight too. Hoping that things will dry out before I pack up.
Awesome spot to camp right by the sream to sooth one to sleep. Although might be hard to hear over the wind lol. Really like to look of the tent design im looking at getting some light weight hot tent that may be it
It is a nice spot! Thank you. I am very fortunate to have such a location. The moving water is such a great sound to fall asleep to, but like you said, the wind was the star of the show that night. This is a really interesting tent. I am looking forward to spending more time with it.
@@ItsGoodintheWoods. Pretty sure he was referring to an outhouse, privy kind of thing. That’s what they call them in the Canadian backcountry. A thunder box. 😂 oh my ! 😂
I was just informed what a thunder box is. It is not what I thought 🤣 There is not a thunder box out there, yet. It's on the list of things to do though
Thanks for bringing us along, Justin. Hope to see you out there paddling this summer!
Already been out once! I am looking forward to this paddle season!

The tent is cool....but I absolutely love that lean to!
Western Mountaineering and Feathered Friends are some of the best when it comes to sleeping bags and quilts.
This is my first Western Mountaineering product. It is awesome. It is a fantastic gift, because I never would have spent that much on a quilt. lol
Some really nice gear there. Thanks for all the reviews. Food outstanding once again. Take care, Al
Yes sir! This is a really cool tent. And that food!!!!!
Neat setup and looks like some delicious food, we have been camping with the wrong people this whole time, hahaha. Keep the adventures coming!
🤣 We like to eat good!

Thank you

Thank you. A very interesting tent for sure
That tent looks badass bro 👌

Nice tent! Cheers!
Thank you KIrk! It is an interesting one that is for sure🍺

Thank you
Looked like a fun time Justin! Sweet shelter. Your fajitas looked awesome. Nice to see another great video from you!

Always a good time! That chicken fajita mix is out of this world!!!
@@ItsGoodintheWoods so glad the freeze drier is working out great! Nothing beats home cooked meals on trail.

I just started watching your videos. They are great so far.
Welcome aboard! I am glad to hear you like them. Thank you for letting me know
Nice one guys, the food looked absolutely superb. I'm jealous of your freeze dryer !
Freeze drier is a game changer! That is going to up my adventure meal game for sure!
I have seen how many canoes you have......go buy a freeze drier

Drop another video while I'm out. Excellent gear and food test night. I got a late start but heading to Crawford Notch now.
How about that timing!! I hope you aren't getting poured on right now....But I suspect you are

Dammit looks like I missed a good one.😅 Brook was a ragin rippah, Ked!😂
The old cot ain't so bad.😁
When I go out there, if you aren't around, the cot is mine
😅 of course brother! As long as I'm not around.😬🤣
Is that the WM Astralite? It’s a great hammocking quilt too if that’s the case. Hope you enjoy it
It is! I can't wait to try it in a hammock.
Cool tent ! Mint food as usual.
Justin we have to do the secret pond this year bud ??
Give me a time frame you may have available.....feel free to shoot me an email
Until you mentioned the quilt, I thought Bob was the pigs name…even though grandma used to say ‘never name your food’😂

Only one thing better than bacon... seconds! Refill me! 😉
I am down with that!
That shelter is really cool, what a neat design ! Unique for sure ! Is it sil- poly ? Or sil - nylon ?
sil nylon. 30d. This thing is awesome. Really growing on me But I do wish it had a nice tall zippered door as well.
Am I the only one wondering why seek changed the logo 🤔 😅✊️🔥✌️💚
🤷
@@ItsGoodintheWoods I liked the other one... weird
Kind of an odd question. Since you spend a lot of time at the testing ground, do you have a thunder-box set-up nearby?
That is a good question. We have an old military cooler out there to store stuff. One of the really rugged ones with 4 metal latches.
