About NuggetNoggin:
Hey! I'm Michael, I love to get outdoors and discover awesome things with my metal detector. I started treasure hunting when I was 12 years old and shortly after received my first metal detector. Since then, I've been hooked and just love going out to search for the unknown. You may see me in the woods crawling under an old house or diving down in the river to search for rings. Wherever the adventure brings us, I'll try my best to keep you entertained.

Haven’t ever been as tired as I was that night when we finally got home. What a great day, nice vid!
What kind of flashlights are those?!
I love how excited you all got over the marbles! I love finding marbles. My mom always said "if you find a marble, someone that has passed is thinking about you"💕
I had the ultimate marble find. I was remodeling an old home, and had to clean out a bunch of stuff under the house. There was an old igloo cooler the large one. I grabed the handles thinking it was empty. Went to lift it up, and I thought I pull my arms out of there sockets. I was like WTF. Well I opened it up, and it was full to the top with marbles. Marbles of every size all diferent colors. It took me a week to sort through that cooler. The was the best day I had in a long time!
I actually jumped when you scared em in the camper!!! Lol
I am a plumber and I find marbles under old House's probably once a month at least. Some home's in historic huntsville AL have cool stuff under them.
Hey buddy I have watched you grow up through your videos. I wish I was your age again my three sons are your age. Be safe out there and have a great time. And to God be the glory Greg in Tennessee
Thank you! I'll keep them coming
Never to old to sling it! Enjoy each God Given day while you can and remember to look up and give thanks. (Glen).
So glad you guys didn't loose your marbles on this adventure!
Son, please carry an Epi-Pen with you because of your allergy to bees. 🐝 💉🐝 Fun hunt and a nice Indian artifact! ☺️ Digging for MARBLES and hunting snakes, featuring Nugget Noggin! 🐍👀
Yes, I usually carry that or Benedryal . I'm only allergic to yellow jackets but I imagine a bee hive wouldn't be fun to encounter. Thanks for watching! Marbles are always fun to find
The jump scare in the camper made me crap my pants a little...
0:48 Look... a 5 legged bull! Lol
@Chad Thompson he spotted nugget of course
Nugget is right. Marbles are everywhere. I hike through woods and i once found an old green marble near an old bottle dump in the middle of nowhere.
Hit that like button if you want to see more metal detecting videos!! Thank you so much for the continued support.

That was a big as flip snake holy cow
I definitely don’t do snakes lol, but that little marble find was super awesome. Great video guys!!!
My family calls those crickets " mutant basement bugs". Lol My sister (who doesn't scare easily) is absolutely terrified of them.
It's been awhile since I've been so excited by a marble, but there definitely was a time 😊
I like that when you said "it's out here you just gotta swing over it"
That's right! You have to get your coil over it then dig it to find it. Thanks for watching!
Nugget: I really hope we don’t find a snake
Nugget a few minutes later: let’s go find a snake!
One place to look for old coins is the mantel over the fireplace in any old home that was built pre-twentyenth century. Look between the support on either side of the mantel piece and the mantel itself. Builders would put a coin between the support and the mantel as a way of wishing happiness and good luck to the new owners of the house. Generally the bigger the house the higher the value of the coin. I learned about this from watching the local PBS station and they were featuring a guy who would go through old houses to salvage items before they were torn down. Hope you find something valuable.
That's an interesting / cool tip. :)
Y'all about scared the mess outta me messing with those snakes! The good Lord was watching over y'all.
Michael, as always, it is a real treat to watch your videos and always eager to see what you find at old home sites! God bless for being you, and thanks for putting a smile on my face! Be safe and take great care man 😊. I definitely needed this inspiration for getting out into the world again!
Thanks for watching James!
Take the boards up and you will probably find a lot of marbles. Kid use to play marbles when you just had board floors and they would fall in the cracks. Especially on the porches of the old houses like that. Thanks for sharing.
That piece of brass was a contact in a starter relay/solenoid
Wow that artifact is awesome!! You can see the worked edges very well! I would call that a base of a huge spear head!!
Keep digging my friend!
I guess I can take 'hiking in Texas' off my list of things to do. Rattlers & Scorpions & Bulls, oh my!!
Exactly!
I found a beautiful white quartz spearpoint under a 200 year old home last week while detecting.
I bout jumped off the couch when you were in the camper yelling snake. Lol
“Snakes, why did it have to be snakes?”
I wonder if Indi ever used a metal detector? :p :)
Don't think I'll be detecting in Texas, we have enough rattlers here in GA! Cool marbles y'all found, Michael!😁💖
I have to agree with you Michael.
Marbles are everywhere.
I have found many marbles while detecting in places that a marble just shouldn't be! And yet there they were!
I love finding them every one of them is different!
I love the variety of finds.
Fun video! Thanks for sharing your adventure with us! Stay safe!
Thanks for watching!
Awesome as usual - thanks for sharing
I just heard you say that about finding a marble,, I haven't found one . But I found something else that I was made to stop cause been digging for hours & blisters . Way before I realized. Lol. A very larger ditch...lol they will be 100 years in 2031 . ..
Thank You for not killing the big ass beautiful snake 🐍, good man, God Bless you.
Great video as always sir. Thank you. It was a relief to see you had some company with your lovely mates too especially with those snakes wriggling around. I don't know much about rattle snakes but those did not seem to do much rattling so I am guessing that they were less upset by you than you might have been by them!
Anyway thanks again. Blessings and peace as always.
Texas is AWESOME!!! Accept for the heat!!!
haven't seen a man so happy about a marble in my life
Another great episode. Thank you for sharing with us. Stay safe 🤗 Happy Hunting 👊😊👊
I love adventures like that, I live in Alabama and my Dad used to catch snakes for a hobby, but he would bring them home.
Thankyou for showing us.
What a close encounter with a snake. Stay safe
Holy moly the hot spot on that one guys light was so annoying, especially with it's high blue spectrum... I'd drop that thing off at goodwill and never look back
You guys are so happy! You are living the best days of your lives and will remember these times forever. I enjoyed your fun video so keep up the fun!
Thank you so much!!
Those baby rattlers have the most potent venom. They're nothing to mess with! Love yourvideos!
Thank you for watching!
Hi Nugget! Hope you enjoyed your visit to Texas. Glad that you are safe. Yes, got to watch for those awful rattlers. Thanks for another cool video. I live in Texas! I was born in Houston, but raised near Lufkin. I live in the Piney Woods area in East Texas. Take care, & God’s Blessings!
I did, thanks! Glad you enjoyed watching. God bless!
Dang, some metal detecting, exploring, and herping all in one video! Good stuff, nice rattlers!
Thanks for watching!
Loved this one Nugg:) Thank you.
Thanks for watching!
WELCOME TO TEXAS NOGGIN would love to metal detect with you one day I had a Garrett pro 200 and a metal detector I had to sell them I needed money for my stepdad but I would get another one if I had the money but life sucks for me anyways right now

Cool day out metal detecting.
Cool video Mike , God Bless .
Mike Espo .
Heck yeah man! Great video 😎
Glad you enjoyed!
Welcome to Texas. Be careful. Alot slithering here
On another note, that style of house can be found all over Texas. Many are still in use in the East Texas area. An old timer once told me that a certain male builder traveled all over building that style and made it very popular about the turn of the century
In Texas with Dallas! 💖 love it! 💖
Big snake, Big snake., that’s why I always wear my snake boots. I don’t think I could detect there for looking for snakes. Great finds. Thanks for sharing.
My metal detecting headphones just quit on me one day, guess I wasn’t being to careful with them. Very exciting hunt!
I'm fifty two Nugget, and I have never found a marble. Hope two in the next thirty odd years. I've seen my share of rattlers out in Oregon growing up. Great video even though I'm not fond of snakes. I'm allergic to bees too so I try and avoid them at all costs. Love you videos you do with Chill Bill Cheers! From NC Raleigh
Thank you for watcing Laura!
You guys are awesome!! This is the same thing myself and friends would do back in the 80s... we just didnt film it😂. Love it.
There is an awesome day-and-night I do not play with snakes you guys are brave I'm glad you're safe and stay blessed on your next one👍
The piece of flint you found is a scraper native Americans used to scrape hides.
A stinkin-lincon day is better than a stinky skunk day.
Good luck guys
God Bless! I lovd your videos! Keep em coming!
More to come! Thank you for watching!
Nice to find some Marble's and Rattlers !!!
Wow!!! That second snake was frightening. You guys were certainly brave walking around in the dark where there were snakes. Nugget, great video. Keep them coming.
Will do. Thanks for watching!
Always BEE careful!
1st snake 12 year old rattlesnake 2nd snake couldn’t really tell but 11-12 years old. You count the rattles on his tail to see how old he is.
The found marbles remind me of the ones we used as kids in the fifties.
Great content love your channel Austin Texas
Awesome! Thank you!
I think my Aunt Sherry has been out to that very spot. (She lost her marbles)
Glad you all found your marbles
Marie in Los Angeles here. I have watched you mudlarking the Thames, fun to find you here!
Cool video bro
Lol I have to giggle when you talking about how old the marbles were. They came out in the late 1960s or early 70s. I'm 58 and around the age 10 or 11 played with those marbles. Lol I didn't know I was really older than I thought. If you ever want to get rid of any I'll take them for a collection. Wonderful video and God Bless. =)
Clay marbles were made around the 1890’s and they made them up until around the 1950s. Some were glazed. My brothers had the glass marbles in the 1950’s.
@@janriley4945 I never had a clay marble. I wish I have. No in the 70's I was an avid marble player. They all had a name for that type of marble. I loved it.
im sure this late in the game its been commented on already but the tool you found around 6min is a general-purpose scrapper, i wish i was there i see some interesting hints? it looks real old, and it looks like its not been in situ all that time, and it looks of a good quality though been utilitarian it can be made to varying qualities depending on need they can be whipped up in minutes this doesnt look like one of those quickly made on the spot type , this was made over hours and there even seems to be repaired, or it was actually used for another purpose[spear, axe] until it broke and then reshaped and repurposed into a scrapper but i cant be sure on any of it from so far
Nice collab video. I got to briefly meet Dallas back when he lived in Arizona. Looks like y’all had a good time!
We did!
i wish i had your metal detector. Old marbles are worth a lot
Thkyou guys..by the way beautiful..old marble
Glad to have you down in my parts. How long were you down for? I hope you went to some other more historical areas and rivers here. More please.
Looky there I wanna introduce the "Marble Boys"😜😝
Thanks Nugget , I love you're videos and you're truly one of a kind. God Bless you and you'll always have a place in my world when it comes to metal detecting , I love it
Awesome
love your vid looked like fun
You are loved. Stay well and be safe, Chuck in NJ
Thank you!
I was watching an older episode of yours where you found a quart mason jar it's got Atlas on the front Also there's an H above the A which stands for Hazel Atlas was a glass company from 1901 to 1964 Some of their stuff is extremely collectible
Thank you for watching!
It’s interesting that the cow bones were in such a straight line all spaced apart about the same space, don’t you think?
I used to watch your vids like 3 years ago I think and a couple months ago found your Chanel love these kind of vids.
Thank you for watching!
I love how the cattle were hanging out that was cool 🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂
That's one thing I can always pretty much count on finding is a marble everytime I go out...nice video Michael.
