A few people have reminded me that there's another way to get get duplicate weaves without using the Arena glitch. To get more copies of a weave, buy an outfit, upgrade it to unlock the weaves, take the weaves off, then sell the outfit. Buy a new copy of the outfit (not the one you sold, which will be in the buyback section, but a brand new one) and it will come with more copies of the weave 👍 Of course, this new outfit will be at level 0 and you'll need to invest resources to upgrade it again to unlock the weaves.
@@LawyerChad1 you can jump then aim then jump then aim to infin jump, I discovered it myself (someone else might have discovered it) as the other two ways to infin jump didn't work as well as the one I mentioned. Hope this helps!
@@creepingshadow3889 i discovered a better method turn the jump button to O and all the button requires O turn it to X and X to O and then you can just go near the invisble wall jump hold L1 (weapons wheel) then spam O it worked for me its so easy

I swear these guides you've got on the channel are essential for a playthrough of this game. I haven't played the game since it was on my ps4 when it just came out and now that I'm playing the game through again on my ps5 to get ready for Burning Shores I'm watching them over again to get a refresher. Anybody who hasn't seen the videos you've put out on this game is seriously missing out cause I've learned stuff I'd completely forgotten
The portion proficiency weave on the Nora Thunder Warrior was an option I never considered. It’s funny considering how often I’ve gotten frustrated with not being able to move while using the cleansing potion in a pinch. I was too focused on maxing out it’s hunting stats instead of adding a sort of tech option.

Thanks! And oh the one from the Nora Thunder Warrior? Ok, so there is a way, possibly, but I’ve never done it with an Arena outfit so I can’t guarantee it will work. What you can do is sell the outfit, then buy a new one from the vendor. It will have the weave on it and you’ll have to upgrade it again. However, since you need Arena medals to buy it, you have to make sure you have enough medals (or can get enough) to buy another copy before you sell the original. Otherwise, your only other way to do it is to play NG+, unfortunately. I hope this helps!

@robo dino puppy Is there a way to get the original white on the utaru winterweave again? I changed the color and lost that nice white. And I tried selling it and buying a new one but it doesn't come with that cool white anymore. Also there's no pictures showing when I click on your tumbler link that he attached in this video.
You can also upgrade an outfit to level 3, get the weave, sell it, buy it and upgrade it again and get another set of those weaves if you choose not to exploit the dupe glitch, just a small info addition to your great summary. P.S. this is not about weaves but rather weapon coils, you can get a purple CRIT DAMAGE weapon coil from the arena apex predators load out if you jump out of the arena sell it and then abandon the challenge and buy it back through the buyback tab. As of now you can't get that coil anywhere else which could be good if you wanna test it out on something like an irivs downfall together with 4 crit coils.

A bit late, but another blue outfit I would recommend is the Oseram Arrow Breaker. It's very good for trap play styles, but more specifically abusing shock. Shock tripwires are very easy to get and the extra trap limit helps to get a lot of these up, while the critical strike perk creates a damage engine to use with the shock. Considering that shock is a very good element in forbidden West, I figured it deserved a mention. Also as a side note, at the end of the Poseidon quest line, I killed the tideripper with nothing but shock tripwires and shock ropes, and this outfit helped a ton in doing that. Still probably my favorite machine kill just from the hilarity of the tideripper shaking off the shock only to immediately step into another 5 tripwires and get shocked again.

Braver than I Carlos, I broke a controller on normal, so there is no way I am even going to try hardcore, wish I wasn't one of "those guys" and that my fuse wasn't so short or in some cases completely non-existent.
As I replayed HZD before starting this I didn't change my playstyle, so I maxed out Nora thunder warrior used evader + medicine weaves and the game was upgraded by discovering the use of food. Eat what you're missing.. traps, valor, stealth.. Your overall work on this game is the best out there

I just borrowed my grandson's PS5 and am playing the game now. I have to lower the difficulty level to compensate my normal PC playstyle to a controller playstyle, but I'm loving the game and these vids.

Tenakt Vanquisher + Stamina Regen Weave + Weapon Stamina Weave = BEST. Assuming you are skillful already in the game of course where you can pretty much avoid any attack thrown at you and make use of being in the low health state to get that juicy extra damage to finish enemies faster. If not, then the Nora Thunder is the best, but you have to be very careful against Slaughterspines because of the Plasma weakness. For the stealth gameplay option, especially against humans, Utaru Winterweave is the only option to go with really... The Carja Stalker Elite is the best looking, but also the least useful of the Legendary outfits.
Ah yeah, so Vanquisher+Stamina Regen+Stamina+ is probably what I would personally roll with if I used a low health build regularly. Riskier without the low health region weave, but I'd rely on my dodging skills, etc. instead, like you said.
I think machine master is underrated, at least when fighting heavy class enemies like the thunder jaw. If you turn mount auto run on while riding a charger you go so damn fast. Aiming can be tricky though, so you will need to freeze enemies, but basically all status effects become easier to apply because you don't need to worry so much about dodging. The only downside is you can't use certain weapon techniques on a mount such as sustained burst which is probably the best method of damage output in the game, also you need an open area, but the game usually grants you that when fighting heavy class enemies.
Among the legendary outfits, IMO the only one that doesn't already come with optimal weaves is the Carja Elite. I use one of the potion weaves with it. The Tenakth Vanquisher is just crazy. Huge boost to damage and survivability. You can use Overshield when you're in the red and IIRC, yes, the Low Health Defense bonus applies to the shield lifebar as well! You're basically unkillable and deal lots of damage. For the Carja outfit, Resilient Trapper can be useful against primarily melee based machines because you can stand right next to your traps and bait enemies this way.
Yes, the tenakth vanquisher is what I have too with weaves of the 3% all defense for both. Fully upgraded as well. With the toughened valor surge fully upgraded as well. I love this armor set, because I do really hate dying. Ever since I got that legendary armor. I have died twice only. Each time too an apex slaughterspine, one shot. Lol. Love it
Sobek's raiment has a bug (at least it did for me) where after going through Faro's Tomb on NG+, the fully upgraded version in my inventory was replaced with a base one again. I think this is because of the fact that you can't have more than 1 of any outfit in your inventory at a time, and since the game forcibly equips this outfit it just destroys your previous copy, but that doesn't make it any less frustrating to have your upgrade resources basically wasted lol

Not to much to add: 1. Outfits you can buy, you can sell, upgrade it to Level 3, take out weave, and sell the outfit and buyback the old if that was a higher upgrade. 2. In the first Area, The Daunt, if you explore the light towers, they have chests which CAN contain machine components, which allow you to buy the blue gear in the daunt, including the Nora Sentinal. 3. Nora Champion needs you to leave the daunt...and then selecting a green armor? Not a good advice. 4. My favourite niche/site armor is Tenakth Marauder for low health melee playstyle, adding resonator damage weave and be done with it. Also the Tenakth Dragoon, which allows repair for free (other way is food) and it looks cool. Sidenote: Preorder/Edition Bonus Outfits are nice change of pace in early gameplay, sadly not available to everyone (low health early level yeahhh).
Ah yes, I forgot about upgrading/selling/rebuying to get multiple copies. I'll pin a comment about it. Thanks for the reminder Paris! Good point about the towers too. I agree getting the Champion probably doesn't make sense for most players, but I know a lot of people play slower and will have trouble getting all the upgrade resources for the Sentinel, so it can be easier to get the Champion maxed out if you need better stats to hold you over.
@@ArktixOfficial I think you are able to buy the missing compoennt if you leave the daunt and the stats are way higher. sadly this armor is like the whisper bow and t he strongarm hunter bow.
All tbe while i assumed they were stat boosts. I'd buy and upgrade outfits that has high impact damage number thinking it was a ranged damage upgrade. Didn't realize until now they meant resistance 😮
Hey man, you need to do an update to this video to include the new weaves and outfits from Burning Shores DLC. My primary build was Nora Thunder Warrior but I changed it to Quen Marine, as it had basically the same stats as NTW, but instead of Heave Weapon+ and Stealth Ranged+, we get max Drop Shield Capacity and more importantly +2 Valor Surge Master, maxing that one. Also for my Weaves I kept Weapon Stamina+2, however the 2nd Weave I won it at the Arena - Champion Challenge, which unlocks after beating the DLC main story. It's called the Elite Melee and it gives +20% Melee Dmg Resistence, +2 Critical Strike+ and Melee Dmg+2.
0:26 Carja Stalker Elite... that must be the one I saw in another video that I thought looked like a superhero outfit. Since it's mostly one color and looks like it has boots and gloves, as per a typical superhero look? Starting to wonder what it would look like with different dyes.

I've found that if you're doing new game+ on ultra hard, initially its way better to put to +10% impact defense weaves onto the nora thunder warrior armor due to how hard ranged attacks hit. with only 65 impact defense, you'll be dead in roughly two hits! in other words, you either need to GET GOOD or up your impact defense. initially, i chose the latter, but now im looking for better weaves to add. while this was a good video, it's not exactly what im looking for considering there are new weaves and armor sets now with the dlc. edit and that's my bad for not checking when this video was posted lol.
Totally! Yeah I've thought the same for a while. I get why they wouldn't want us to have a bunch of weave slots that can be used for any weave, but if we could add on 2-3 elemental weaves that would be helpful.
It's kind of disappointing that for late game/ harder difficulties there is really only 1 option for armor - the Thunder Warrior (unless you are going for the glass cannon/low health build or another extremely specialized build). The Thunder Warrior is just SO much better than any other armor for general use.
Ah yeah it’s kinda true. The Vanquisher low health build is definitely legit, but it’s also a different sort of playstyle get used to. I hope we get some new outfits in DLC!
There is only really one thing, were it´s really frustrating, that´s the grenades from human NPC, like the champion. It´s supposed to be used when Aloy can not be reached or the rebel is kited. This grenade explode on impact and does 505 range damage...on normal, that´s 1010 on UH. Low Health has about 583 effective health, so you need about 43 range resistance not to be killed. Otherwise the vanquisher is far superior to a Thunder Warrior in terms of survival and damage. Add Stamina Regen, and LH Regen or Stamina+ and Stamina Regen on it. Though Thunder Warrior isn´t bad, and if one has a fetish for concentration like, Arktix does, it´s more suited to that playstyle.
But that's because hunter is standard playstyle, so it'll always perform well. Other armors are more useful in different situations, though. I wasn't very impressed with the Nora Thunder Warrior on UH+. Plasma weakness hurts it against critical enemies such as the Slaughterspine. It's good for spamming Stamina abilities but the Vanquisher dishes out more damage. For stealth the Utaru armor is unrivaled. Even the hardest camps can be cleared on UH+.
@@nightdriver7216 Honestly, I like the TW armor for stealth. It is really hard to remain in full stealth for the duration of a fight especially on harder difficulties unless you are doing hit and run tactics (which I find boring) so, for me anyways I always end up doing some "normal" combat. Paired with something like low profile and stealth tear you can run a very good stealth build but still have those concentration/stamina perks to fall back on when shit inevitably hits the fan.
@@nightdriver7216 Resistance usually only matters that much in a fresh Run in higher difficulties or when you limit yourself, otherwise you, if you don´t want to take damage, rope em, freeze em, blast em. Warrior Skillset has all the more or less all global skills, all concentration stuff, all the Stamina stuff, all Valor Stuff, all Crafting Stuff and with all i mean all basic like increase in max amount/regen/duration. Stealth in UH is kinda bad, i think they overtuned it. It another concept of the game, which shows the weakness of their systems very well in higher difficulties.
Feels bad not knowing so much of stuff like this on my first play through When I was done using an outfit, I just sold it, and now cannot ever get it back for the weaves (too much stuff sold to be in the buy back section) Especially sucks for outfits only obtainaed through quests, so they are just gone permanently unless I go into a NG+
You’re very welcome! And yeah I want to do an updated weapon coiling guide at some point, but honestly I wouldn’t change my recommendations much from what they are now. I’ll probably wait until there’s DLC that brings new coils.
Nice. Are you using a stamina regen weave? If you are, and you also have both stamina regen skills unlocked in the skill tree, then you should use something else. Like I showed in the video, you can't boost a skill past level 4.
All I want to know is this, the Nora Survivor Armor that we get with Pre-ordering the game gives us the ability to Heal ourselves plus get a Health Boast if we pull off a successful Stealth Strike. What I want to know is this an ability unique to NS or is there another armor in the game that can do this?
I assume you mean the Nora Legacy? If so, the skill you're talking about is silent strike heal. The Utaru Whisperer, Warden, and Winterweave all have that perk too.

Hey thanks! Glad you like them 😄 And ok, so it’s not a weave that gives you an aim assist boost, it’s the quick draw mechanic. I discussed it in my 8 hidden combat mechanics video. If you draw while sliding or falling, you’ll get quick draw, which slows down time a bit, draws faster, and gives you a small aim assist boost. Hope that helps!

Hi! Glad you're getting into Horizon and starting with Zero Dawn. That's definitely the way to do it 👍 I would love to make guides for Zero Dawn, but unfortunately, I don't think it would be a good use of my time right now since I don't think the videos wouldn't be very popular. A video like this takes me 20-30 hours to make, so I need to prioritize content that helps grow my channel. I hope that's understandable. When they do the remaster of Zero Dawn I'll probably go back and make guides for it since lots of new people will be playing. Fortunately, the outfits and weaves in Zero Dawn are much simpler than Forbidden West. Basically, just get the highest rarity outfits and weaves you can find and choose weaves based on resistances you need. Melee damage resistance is always a good idea. The sheildweaver armor is the best armor in the game, but it requires you to get pretty far along in the story. The Shadow Stalwart series of outfits are a good one to go for through the rest of the game (light, medium, heavy). The Shadow Stalwart Heavy is probably the 2nd best outfit in the game after the Shieldweaver because it has 3 weave slots.
I didn't know you could turn off the headpiece look. Though I wonder, can you switch out headpieces with different outfits? Like if you'd rather not have the headpiece that comes with the Nora Sentinel, and instead have the original tiara? (Nora Annointed and Champion). If not, then that's fine. Just curious.
Question. How do you turn off the alloy accessories like the head pieces ? I love the simplistic look with the armor ? Especially the stalker elite without the weird hat lol.

I disagree with you with the Point, that you should use the skill boosting weaves. What are the most dangerous Machines in the Game? Thunderjaw = no Elemental attacks Fireclaw = Fire attacks Slaughterspine = Plasma attacks Slitherfang = Acid attacks Tideripper = Purgewater attacks Those are the only Machines in the Game, where the Apex Versions can One Hit you on Ultra Hard, except the Thunderjaw. If you look now on resistences of all Legendary Armors, the only two, that have at least Resistences against all of them, except for one are the Nore and the Oseram Outfit. All others are weak against 2 elements, what the strongest Machines use and all of them will One Hit you with no Resistence. The ONLY way to not get One Hit by these is to use one of these two Outfits with 2 15% Plasma Resistence on it. The Shellsnapper uses Frost, but none of his Attacks is able to One Hit, also any other Machines are not able to One Hit you, just these 4 and just the Apex Versions of it. These are the only 2 possible Outfits, since they have with 2 Plasma Weaves, Resistences against all of the strongest Machines in the Game. You will have on both Outfits 25% Plasma Resistence then, wich is enough, even for the Apex Slaughterspine. After 120 hrs playing this Game on UH, i definitely say, this is way more important, than any skill is. Or you just swap the Outfit for any Enemy, but I don’t like that.
Interesting take. I see you point, but I feel that the additional resistance you get from elemental weaves just isn’t worth the trade off. The maximum additional elemental resistance you can get is 30% (2x15%). That’s no insignificant, but I also don’t find it’s game changing. The only scenario in which that would be really helpful is if you find yourself getting hit by elemental attacks a lot. In that case, yes, elemental resistance weaves will definitely help you.
@@ArktixOfficial Im using the Nora Thunder Outfit with 2 Plasma Resistence Weaves on UH. This way, i can fight any Area in the Game without being scared to get One Hit by Slaughterspines for Example. I think, the Weapons on their own are Strong enough to beat them fast. Im also using Thoughened Valor Surge. Its a little bit of a Tank Build i would say, but i like the fact, that i can stand anything in the Game and dont have to be afraid dying in certain Situations, where others do. One of the hardest Areas in the Game is the Fireclaw Site where also 5 Watchers are Running around and with the Red Plants. In this specific Area, i can tell you, you are Happy, if you have Plasma and Fire Resistence on your Outfit and the Thoughened Valor Surge :) I want to be able to face any Situation in this Game and not: Oh i can kill Slautherspines in less than one Minute, but in this Fireclaw Areal im dying 5 out of 10 Times, you know what i mean. Because then, with your Build you may be able to kill one Big Boss Machine a little bit faster than me, but what do you do, when you have to fight multiple Enemys + one Big Boss Machine and the Red Plants constantly drain your Stamina, right :P

Im playing on Ultra Hard!. on my IRIV'S DOWNFALL i have 4 15% critical hit chance coils!!.. plus a 25% critical hit damage coil!!. and IRIVS BOW it already comes with a 25% critical hit damage at max level!( i have it at max level). so basically i have 65% critical hit chance, and 50% critical hit damage!!. and i use Critical boost valor surge! which when i use it i have more than 100% critical chance + damage... that's why i gave my bow that 25% critical hit damage coil!!. but i want to remove that coil and give him another 15% critical hit chance and switch to Range master valor surge!!. SO MY QUESTION IS; ¿ IF I USE THE RANGE MASTER VALOR SURGE! IT DISABLE ALL MY CRITICAL HIT CHANCE??? MAKING MY BUILD USELESS??? (Sorry for my English, i know is not really good, but im trying my best)
Has anyone gotten a Very rare weave called the "All Defense" weave? It boosts all defense stats by +3%. I wanted to know if there were any versions with a higher rating?
"Instant Brittle Chance: +3% chance" I...that's a LEGENDARy weave? A UNIQUE, as in, singular, weave? How...wow that seems lackluster. Must be some math going on I don't see at the moment.
Actually that’s a weapon coil. But yes, it’s pretty underwhelming for a legendary item lol. It’s pretty useful when you can stack 5 of them though! I show that in my newest video on coils.

What you can do is sell the outfit, then buy a new one from the vendor. It will have the weave on it and you’ll have to upgrade it again. However, since you need Arena medals to buy it, you have to make sure you have enough medals (or can get enough) to buy another copy before you sell the original. Otherwise, your only other way to do it is to play NG+, unfortunately. I hope this helps!

@robo dino puppy Is there a way to get the original white on the utaru winterweave again? I changed the color and lost that nice white. And I tried selling it and buying a new one but it doesn't come with that cool white anymore. Also there's no pictures showing when I click on your tumbler link that he attached in this video.
You can also upgrade an outfit to level 3, get the weave, sell it, buy it and upgrade it again and get another set of those weaves if you choose not to exploit the dupe glitch, just a small info addition to your great summary.
P.S. this is not about weaves but rather weapon coils, you can get a purple CRIT DAMAGE weapon coil from the arena apex predators load out if you jump out of the arena sell it and then abandon the challenge and buy it back through the buyback tab. As of now you can't get that coil anywhere else which could be good if you wanna test it out on something like an irivs downfall together with 4 crit coils.

A bit late, but another blue outfit I would recommend is the Oseram Arrow Breaker. It's very good for trap play styles, but more specifically abusing shock. Shock tripwires are very easy to get and the extra trap limit helps to get a lot of these up, while the critical strike perk creates a damage engine to use with the shock. Considering that shock is a very good element in forbidden West, I figured it deserved a mention.
Also as a side note, at the end of the Poseidon quest line, I killed the tideripper with nothing but shock tripwires and shock ropes, and this outfit helped a ton in doing that. Still probably my favorite machine kill just from the hilarity of the tideripper shaking off the shock only to immediately step into another 5 tripwires and get shocked again.
I started in ultra hard for my first run because i usually do that... but it was so frustrating until i found your guides. Just amazing thanks for all your effort :)🎉

Braver than I Carlos, I broke a controller on normal, so there is no way I am even going to try hardcore, wish I wasn't one of "those guys" and that my fuse wasn't so short or in some cases completely non-existent.
As I replayed HZD before starting this I didn't change my playstyle, so I maxed out Nora thunder warrior used evader + medicine weaves and the game was upgraded by discovering the use of food. Eat what you're missing.. traps, valor, stealth..
Your overall work on this game is the best out there

Tenakt Vanquisher + Stamina Regen Weave + Weapon Stamina Weave = BEST.
Assuming you are skillful already in the game of course where you can pretty much avoid any attack thrown at you and make use of being in the low health state to get that juicy extra damage to finish enemies faster.
If not, then the Nora Thunder is the best, but you have to be very careful against Slaughterspines because of the Plasma weakness.
For the stealth gameplay option, especially against humans, Utaru Winterweave is the only option to go with really...
The Carja Stalker Elite is the best looking, but also the least useful of the Legendary outfits.
Ah yeah, so Vanquisher+Stamina Regen+Stamina+ is probably what I would personally roll with if I used a low health build regularly. Riskier without the low health region weave, but I'd rely on my dodging skills, etc. instead, like you said.

I think machine master is underrated, at least when fighting heavy class enemies like the thunder jaw. If you turn mount auto run on while riding a charger you go so damn fast. Aiming can be tricky though, so you will need to freeze enemies, but basically all status effects become easier to apply because you don't need to worry so much about dodging. The only downside is you can't use certain weapon techniques on a mount such as sustained burst which is probably the best method of damage output in the game, also you need an open area, but the game usually grants you that when fighting heavy class enemies.

Among the legendary outfits, IMO the only one that doesn't already come with optimal weaves is the Carja Elite. I use one of the potion weaves with it.
The Tenakth Vanquisher is just crazy. Huge boost to damage and survivability. You can use Overshield when you're in the red and IIRC, yes, the Low Health Defense bonus applies to the shield lifebar as well! You're basically unkillable and deal lots of damage.
For the Carja outfit, Resilient Trapper can be useful against primarily melee based machines because you can stand right next to your traps and bait enemies this way.

Yes, the tenakth vanquisher is what I have too with weaves of the 3% all defense for both. Fully upgraded as well. With the toughened valor surge fully upgraded as well. I love this armor set, because I do really hate dying. Ever since I got that legendary armor. I have died twice only. Each time too an apex slaughterspine, one shot. Lol. Love it
Sobek's raiment has a bug (at least it did for me) where after going through Faro's Tomb on NG+, the fully upgraded version in my inventory was replaced with a base one again.
I think this is because of the fact that you can't have more than 1 of any outfit in your inventory at a time, and since the game forcibly equips this outfit it just destroys your previous copy, but that doesn't make it any less frustrating to have your upgrade resources basically wasted lol

Not to much to add:
1. Outfits you can buy, you can sell, upgrade it to Level 3, take out weave, and sell the outfit and buyback the old if that was a higher upgrade.
2. In the first Area, The Daunt, if you explore the light towers, they have chests which CAN contain machine components, which allow you to buy the blue gear in the daunt, including the Nora Sentinal.
3. Nora Champion needs you to leave the daunt...and then selecting a green armor? Not a good advice.
4. My favourite niche/site armor is Tenakth Marauder for low health melee playstyle, adding resonator damage weave and be done with it. Also the Tenakth Dragoon, which allows repair for free (other way is food) and it looks cool.
Sidenote: Preorder/Edition Bonus Outfits are nice change of pace in early gameplay, sadly not available to everyone (low health early level yeahhh).
Ah yes, I forgot about upgrading/selling/rebuying to get multiple copies. I'll pin a comment about it. Thanks for the reminder Paris! Good point about the towers too. I agree getting the Champion probably doesn't make sense for most players, but I know a lot of people play slower and will have trouble getting all the upgrade resources for the Sentinel, so it can be easier to get the Champion maxed out if you need better stats to hold you over.
@@ArktixOfficial I think you are able to buy the missing compoennt if you leave the daunt and the stats are way higher. sadly this armor is like the whisper bow and t he strongarm hunter bow.

Hey man, you need to do an update to this video to include the new weaves and outfits from Burning Shores DLC. My primary build was Nora Thunder Warrior but I changed it to Quen Marine, as it had basically the same stats as NTW, but instead of Heave Weapon+ and Stealth Ranged+, we get max Drop Shield Capacity and more importantly +2 Valor Surge Master, maxing that one.
Also for my Weaves I kept Weapon Stamina+2, however the 2nd Weave I won it at the Arena - Champion Challenge, which unlocks after beating the DLC main story. It's called the Elite Melee and it gives +20% Melee Dmg Resistence, +2 Critical Strike+ and Melee Dmg+2.
Yup I'll be doing and updated outfits and weaves video for sure! The new weaves in particular are pretty cool!

I've found that if you're doing new game+ on ultra hard, initially its way better to put to +10% impact defense weaves onto the nora thunder warrior armor due to how hard ranged attacks hit. with only 65 impact defense, you'll be dead in roughly two hits! in other words, you either need to GET GOOD or up your impact defense. initially, i chose the latter, but now im looking for better weaves to add. while this was a good video, it's not exactly what im looking for considering there are new weaves and armor sets now with the dlc.

It's kind of disappointing that for late game/ harder difficulties there is really only 1 option for armor - the Thunder Warrior (unless you are going for the glass cannon/low health build or another extremely specialized build). The Thunder Warrior is just SO much better than any other armor for general use.
Ah yeah it’s kinda true. The Vanquisher low health build is definitely legit, but it’s also a different sort of playstyle get used to. I hope we get some new outfits in DLC!
There is only really one thing, were it´s really frustrating, that´s the grenades from human NPC, like the champion. It´s supposed to be used when Aloy can not be reached or the rebel is kited. This grenade explode on impact and does 505 range damage...on normal, that´s 1010 on UH. Low Health has about 583 effective health, so you need about 43 range resistance not to be killed. Otherwise the vanquisher is far superior to a Thunder Warrior in terms of survival and damage. Add Stamina Regen, and LH Regen or Stamina+ and Stamina Regen on it.
Though Thunder Warrior isn´t bad, and if one has a fetish for concentration like, Arktix does, it´s more suited to that playstyle.
But that's because hunter is standard playstyle, so it'll always perform well. Other armors are more useful in different situations, though.
I wasn't very impressed with the Nora Thunder Warrior on UH+. Plasma weakness hurts it against critical enemies such as the Slaughterspine. It's good for spamming Stamina abilities but the Vanquisher dishes out more damage.
For stealth the Utaru armor is unrivaled. Even the hardest camps can be cleared on UH+.
@@nightdriver7216 Honestly, I like the TW armor for stealth. It is really hard to remain in full stealth for the duration of a fight especially on harder difficulties unless you are doing hit and run tactics (which I find boring) so, for me anyways I always end up doing some "normal" combat. Paired with something like low profile and stealth tear you can run a very good stealth build but still have those concentration/stamina perks to fall back on when shit inevitably hits the fan.
@@nightdriver7216 Resistance usually only matters that much in a fresh Run in higher difficulties or when you limit yourself, otherwise you, if you don´t want to take damage, rope em, freeze em, blast em.
Warrior Skillset has all the more or less all global skills, all concentration stuff, all the Stamina stuff, all Valor Stuff, all Crafting Stuff and with all i mean all basic like increase in max amount/regen/duration.
Stealth in UH is kinda bad, i think they overtuned it. It another concept of the game, which shows the weakness of their systems very well in higher difficulties.

When I was done using an outfit, I just sold it, and now cannot ever get it back for the weaves (too much stuff sold to be in the buy back section)
Especially sucks for outfits only obtainaed through quests, so they are just gone permanently unless I go into a NG+

Nice. Are you using a stamina regen weave? If you are, and you also have both stamina regen skills unlocked in the skill tree, then you should use something else. Like I showed in the video, you can't boost a skill past level 4.

All I want to know is this, the Nora Survivor Armor that we get with Pre-ordering the game gives us the ability to Heal ourselves plus get a Health Boast if we pull off a successful Stealth Strike. What I want to know is this an ability unique to NS or is there another armor in the game that can do this?
I assume you mean the Nora Legacy? If so, the skill you're talking about is silent strike heal. The Utaru Whisperer, Warden, and Winterweave all have that perk too.
I hope the next game Aloy gets her long roll back and doesn't have a weak ass stagger box.

Hey thanks! Glad you like them 😄 And ok, so it’s not a weave that gives you an aim assist boost, it’s the quick draw mechanic. I discussed it in my 8 hidden combat mechanics video. If you draw while sliding or falling, you’ll get quick draw, which slows down time a bit, draws faster, and gives you a small aim assist boost. Hope that helps!

Hi! Glad you're getting into Horizon and starting with Zero Dawn. That's definitely the way to do it 👍 I would love to make guides for Zero Dawn, but unfortunately, I don't think it would be a good use of my time right now since I don't think the videos wouldn't be very popular. A video like this takes me 20-30 hours to make, so I need to prioritize content that helps grow my channel. I hope that's understandable. When they do the remaster of Zero Dawn I'll probably go back and make guides for it since lots of new people will be playing.
Fortunately, the outfits and weaves in Zero Dawn are much simpler than Forbidden West. Basically, just get the highest rarity outfits and weaves you can find and choose weaves based on resistances you need. Melee damage resistance is always a good idea. The sheildweaver armor is the best armor in the game, but it requires you to get pretty far along in the story. The Shadow Stalwart series of outfits are a good one to go for through the rest of the game (light, medium, heavy). The Shadow Stalwart Heavy is probably the 2nd best outfit in the game after the Shieldweaver because it has 3 weave slots.

I disagree with you with the Point, that you should use the skill boosting weaves. What are the most dangerous Machines in the Game?
Thunderjaw = no Elemental attacks
Fireclaw = Fire attacks
Slaughterspine = Plasma attacks
Slitherfang = Acid attacks
Tideripper = Purgewater attacks
Those are the only Machines in the Game, where the Apex Versions can One Hit you on Ultra Hard, except the Thunderjaw. If you look now on resistences of all Legendary Armors, the only two, that have at least Resistences against all of them, except for one are the Nore and the Oseram Outfit. All others are weak against 2 elements, what the strongest Machines use and all of them will One Hit you with no Resistence. The ONLY way to not get One Hit by these is to use one of these two Outfits with 2 15% Plasma Resistence on it. The Shellsnapper uses Frost, but none of his Attacks is able to One Hit, also any other Machines are not able to One Hit you, just these 4 and just the Apex Versions of it. These are the only 2 possible Outfits, since they have with 2 Plasma Weaves, Resistences against all of the strongest Machines in the Game. You will have on both Outfits 25% Plasma Resistence then, wich is enough, even for the Apex Slaughterspine. After 120 hrs playing this Game on UH, i definitely say, this is way more important, than any skill is. Or you just swap the Outfit for any Enemy, but I don’t like that.
Interesting take. I see you point, but I feel that the additional resistance you get from elemental weaves just isn’t worth the trade off. The maximum additional elemental resistance you can get is 30% (2x15%). That’s no insignificant, but I also don’t find it’s game changing. The only scenario in which that would be really helpful is if you find yourself getting hit by elemental attacks a lot. In that case, yes, elemental resistance weaves will definitely help you.
@@ArktixOfficial Im using the Nora Thunder Outfit with 2 Plasma Resistence Weaves on UH. This way, i can fight any Area in the Game without being scared to get One Hit by Slaughterspines for Example. I think, the Weapons on their own are Strong enough to beat them fast. Im also using Thoughened Valor Surge. Its a little bit of a Tank Build i would say, but i like the fact, that i can stand anything in the Game and dont have to be afraid dying in certain Situations, where others do. One of the hardest Areas in the Game is the Fireclaw Site where also 5 Watchers are Running around and with the Red Plants. In this specific Area, i can tell you, you are Happy, if you have Plasma and Fire Resistence on your Outfit and the Thoughened Valor Surge :) I want to be able to face any Situation in this Game and not: Oh i can kill Slautherspines in less than one Minute, but in this Fireclaw Areal im dying 5 out of 10 Times, you know what i mean. Because then, with your Build you may be able to kill one Big Boss Machine a little bit faster than me, but what do you do, when you have to fight multiple Enemys + one Big Boss Machine and the Red Plants constantly drain your Stamina, right :P

on my IRIV'S DOWNFALL i have 4 15% critical hit chance coils!!.. plus a 25% critical hit damage coil!!. and IRIVS BOW it already comes with a 25% critical hit damage at max level!( i have it at max level). so basically i have 65% critical hit chance, and 50% critical hit damage!!.
and i use Critical boost valor surge! which when i use it i have more than 100% critical chance + damage... that's why i gave my bow that 25% critical hit damage coil!!.
but i want to remove that coil and give him another 15% critical hit chance and switch to Range master valor surge!!.
SO MY QUESTION IS; ¿ IF I USE THE RANGE MASTER VALOR SURGE! IT DISABLE ALL MY CRITICAL HIT CHANCE??? MAKING MY BUILD USELESS??? (Sorry for my English, i know is not really good, but im trying my best)
Range Master can crit! Powershot is the Valor Surge, which can´t crit.
Nope. Ranged Master will not disable your crit chance. I use a very similar build!

Actually that’s a weapon coil. But yes, it’s pretty underwhelming for a legendary item lol. It’s pretty useful when you can stack 5 of them though! I show that in my newest video on coils.
