This is how you do a: How To Do video. Concise. No chit chat, rambling, life stories, preaching, outtakes, fluff, any of that nonsense. This... was perfect. THANK YOU!
Wow, thank you!
Your video made my installation completely painless-I am so grateful that you made this!!!
Glad I could help!
Absolutely the best install video ever. 10 of 10, sir.
Wow, thanks!!
Great video sir. Google nest should hire you for all of their smart home devices installation videos.
I wish!
Best installation video I’ve ever seen
Thanks!
Nicely explained, specially when to add the batteries to Yale lock, because my nest app was failing to connect to Yale lock, even the nest support didn’t know on how to fix it!
Thanks for sharing.
One of the best installation videos I have seen.
Thanks, I appreciate the feedback.
Thank you so much! This video was very helpful!
Thanks!!
Your video is helpful. Before I purchase the lock, I need to know how far down the keypad extends from the center of the deadbolt hole to see if I have the clearance to the top of my doorknob trim. And the same for the interior clearance. Can you please help? Thanks
On mine it's 5" from the center of the dead bolt shaft to the bottom of the lock.
Extremely helpful! Thank you!
Thanks Jay!
Did you change the other keyed door knob to a passage?
Very informative. Thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you, very good video
Glad you liked it!
Do you need the Google nest device ?
Thanks, could you not use the existing striker plate?
I tried the old striker plate first but the deadbolt wouldn't enter freely. When I got looking at the two plates the new striker plate had a wider opening than the old one so I used it.
@@Iscaper Thanks for your reply.
So long as it it wide enough for the new deadbolt yo padd through unhindered. This lock is unforgiving of even the slightest resistance.
My deadbolt is also working in reverse direction. How can I change the direction? Should I try master reset ?

Does the inside part suppose to move around when I nudge it?
Inside part of what?
I have Google nest hub, do I need the module
Not sure but I think so.
Using one inch screws on the striker in the frame side is unsound. One kick and the door is open.
Nice video! But there was no step to setup the passcode?
I installed it but the deadbolt latch isn’t turning to lock. It’s driving me crazy!!

By installing this lock you still gotta use a key if you want to retain 2 locks. This is only a dead bolt. I wish they made something that would control door handle and dead bolt same time
Agree!
You failed to mention the utterly absurd lining up of the screws through the strike plate to the front panel. What an absolute crock.
Yes!!! Ridiculous man!
