It took me FOREVER to realize that the pronunciation of "thalasso hobbyer" and "thalassophobia" was basically the same in Japanese.
Your work is absolutely gorgeous, like three dimensional paintings that tell whole stories. Take all the time you need -- perfection like this can't be rushed.

Yes, but this one isn't so much on that theme as the ones where creepy monsters lurk in pools and ponds. This artist is a master at keeping us all out of the water!

I've tried to watch so many other diorama creators since I began watching your videos, but every single one of them feels wrong. They use expensive 3D printers for every single piece and then just paint them and throw them together. I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with that, they can make fun interesting things... But they'll never have what you do. There's no love in their work, and this stunning diorama just proves that to me. To spend 8 months on a project takes dedication that a lot of others just don't have, and love. You love your work, your art, and your viewers and it shines through in every single piece and video you create.

The detail that you put into every single part of a larger piece is incredible to me, and hearing that it only took you eight months is baffling in the best way. You're so talented in your work on massive pieces like this one that I wouldn't be surprised if it had taken you longer to complete. You're my favorite diorama maker on youtube, none of the others that I have watched can hold my interest for long before I return to your videos.
Edit: The process you have for shaping your larger trees is my absolute favorite part of your videos! I love watching how they go from bundles of wire to a silver leafless tree with just certain twists of smaller and smaller clusters of wire. It makes me want to get a lot of wire and start making trees left and right😂

I really enjoyed the story driven narrative you did for your Diorama of Moonlight video, so it's really nice to get this additional one that gets to showcases all the hard work that went into it, too! It really makes me want to try my hand at creating even small things.

Two thoughts I had while watching:
    1. You elicit such a wealth of emotion from your subtle detailing and colors.
    2. The care and attention to detail you put into each diaroma is so impressive - but you complain about your production pace. Sigh. Your art takes time. There seems to be a fair number of subscribers who agree it's well worth the wait.

Congratulations on finishing your manuscript! I know it doesn't work with the algorithm, so I understand why things are the way they are, but I wish more creators could take so much time with their work. The quality of your dioramas is so good-- not only visually, but the emotion and story as well. I appreciate your perfectionism. The color of the moss, the sticks on the banks of the spring, placing every individual dried flower along the branches of the trees. And I love that you're proving you don't need expensive tools or equipment to make genuinely stunning and moving art.

38:27 Moving around the light source to imitate the trees swaying adds a really nice touch to the liveliness of the diorama.
The lighting below the water accentuates the ripple effects and the lily pads.
If this set was missing a prop, I would suggest a pair of slippers at the edge of the spring,
in order to allude more to the human presence that was once there.

Already watched the first video of this dyptic, my good man.
A tearful smile is one of the most motherly expressions in life. And each smile of those is a world altogether in and of itself. On the Noh mask and positioning, I think it's part of the Japanese habit of finding balance in every work of art, a subte arching of fingers or a nod of the head being meaningful. I very much like it, the subtlety of things. And they're prevalent on your works.
    Good luck with the book.
    Cheers.

thank you for all your hard work, it's beautiful - even more so when you see all the time, effort and patience you apply to your craft. The story on the first video was heartbreakingly sad. The journey to get there in this video was uplifting and brought a new light to the diorama. Personally, I love the underwater glow
