Gaya is another easy one for beginners. Got mine from a hardware store a couple of years ago. Now its a monster of a plant that has eaten a tree frog and a roach. My father believes its gonna take over the front porch! 😂😂

Those are beautiful! I just started with the purchase of a Hanging Pitcher Plant. Thats all the tag says😂.

Great to hear. Usually the common ones labelled hanging pitcher plant are reasonably easy to ID once they are big enough.

Hey. If the cups dry out and fall off will they grow back?

Nope unfortunately each leaf only gets 1 pitcher but every new leaf can grow a pitcher as the plant grows.

Hi i give my rebecca soper a night time drop in temp , is it needed ? Or will it do fine without ? And just curious how many hours a day do you have your grow lights on for as iv got mine at 14 hrs and confused if thats to much Thanks

Hi mate, Rebecca soper is a hybrid between 2 highland species, though it is very forgiving it would definitely appreciate the drop, all neps do even lowlanders.
14 hours is great, you could even bump it up to 16 hours. But mine are on 14, any more and my leave tend to start to burn.

That Maxima cross you’re not gonna find that in your local garden center. You have to actually go to a carnivorous vendor to get that one.

You'd be supprised what you find. I've got a dyeriana that I found at a typical garden center a few years ago.
