Trump has done so much for the black community. He made black colleges a priority by signing a bipartisan bill funding black colleges 250 million a year. The unemployment rate for blacks, Latinos, and Asians is at an all time low, the economy was booming before this virus. The percentage rate of black home owners went up tremendously under Trump administration. Trump also signed the first step act which allowed several blacks to be released from prison for being unfairly trialed and given ridiculous amounts of time for small petty crimes, because of a crime bill that Biden is behind that targeted millions of black men!! There’s much more... I can’t believe people followed into their plan blindly without doing their own research.. We just lost the best president America has had in a long ass time, because of people believing lies spewed by the media. It’s sad!

Ice Cube hit the nail on the head. Black Americans just need to make more money. I can say this much, in this country we have a serious shortage of skilled labor, the best thing we could do is target young people and focus on developing the necessary skills to meet the ever increasing demands of industry. Pulling the USA out of the World Trade Organization, and giving smaller businesses a level playing field will help bring more money and prosperity back to this country. The black community needs to get dialed into what industry needs while advancing the skills of the young generation to meet those demands. Like wise I believe we should also give them the necessary skills to be entrepreneurs to help generate more wealth into black communities. Waiting for government to make this happen will most likely fail. It will have to come from the people or there will be no change.

I'll give you one guess why. Beyond that, it's not like there were scores of murders roaming the streets of the inner cities. It's usually a handful of the same people committing most of the violence...and the cops already know who they are. The people that ended up getting arrested were users, (mostly weed users) or low-level dealers selling small amounts of crack or weed. The same thing young "entrepreneurs" on the West coast are getting rich selling.

We cheered extremist during the Arab spring, we isolated our longest ally in the region (Israel) and the trade deficits with the EU and China grew to record levels. The liked us because they were taking advantage of us. I pose this question. If they admired us so much why were the Middle East peace deals not accomplished by the Obama admin? Why did the Civil war in Yemen escalate out of control devolving into a proxy war between Iran and Saudi Arabia?
There is also the matter of "what our ancestors" would want. Ensuring the financial stability and viability of HBCU's. The funding was gutted throughout the Obama administration. Funds were diverted to 2 year colleges and many HBCU's barely had the funds to stay afloat. Also, our ancestors would have wanted a solution to crime in the community OR some action in the form of a legislative push to do criminal justice or police reform (neither of which happened in 8 years). You made an impassioned case and I wanted to show you the courtesy and respect of addressing the points you raised in a civil manner.
