I don't know. I saw a debate where the professor started shouting very loudly without provocation. However, as long as you concede trivial points, take a gentle tone, and he is in a good mode, the debate should be good.

Stats mean nothing without an analysis and every analysis of the unemployment initiative Obama took and then trump accelerated, tells a completely different story. Our gig economy produced low unemployment...by incentivising working 2 or 3 jobs to get by because wages have not only remained stagnant, the buying power of the working class has shrunken. And this is accross all racial/ethnic groups, with a delta in the severity of this dynamic happening in poc communities.
It's also important important note that most economists agree unemployment should not fall below a given % bc to go lower would have extreme adverse economic impact. You wanna know how to get 0% unemployment? Wage Slavery.

That's the problem with issues like these: so many want to only address the most basic and recent facts. Truth doesn't work like that any more than a person who claims to be honest while omitting relevant and essential facts is telling the whole truth. Our society has way too many ignorant, lazy and self-serving people when it comes to the truth - a direct result of the "American Exceptionalism" narrative. Many people are unaware of the political party that controls their State, City or County. The biggest secret that has been kept from the American population is the Democratic party. Under Democratic policies, the individuals who are being "governed" are unaware that they are being held in servitude status. Therefore, the Democratic party receives billions of dollars in federal fundings (profits) under the disguise that they are aiding the poor and disenfranchised, but in all actuality, the party is purposely creating welfare (single motherhood) and aiding in the mass incarceration of men (Checkout the Deadbeat Dad and 3 strikes rule Acts passed by "loverboy" Bill Clinton). This is the only political party that is totally against the US Constitution, which is derived from The Holy Scriptures, but nonetheless, explains why individuals can't possess a gun under Democratic policies.

I looked up the study, it was studying the potential reactions to Trump's rhetoric on racism on an individual level. What Fox said is a little misleading, the way they framed it was an attempt to make Trump look good. In reality, the changes in individual racism in America doesn't actually tell us if Trump is racist or not. The study has pointed it towards declining but does this mean that Trump has inspired people to be less racist because of his gracious rhetoric of unity towards the American people (this hasn't been a legit occurrence) or could it be because they're disgusted by his rhetoric? These are a few things to consider in what this study might actually mean.
The pole just don't tell us whether people was more racist because a black man was in the White House and now they're less racist because he's out. I'd love to know

@Tùng trương I think you misread my comment. The study isn't dependent on Trump being a racist, it's not even trying to prove whether he is or isn't. All it's studying is Trump's rhetoric alone, whether or not it's actually racist being unconsidered, and its effect on the attitudes of Americans.

I would have thought a Harvard professor would come to a debate with some research results. Instead, he just looked stunned that they did, and kept trying to fall back on his job title to argue they were wrong.
This was painful to watch. He is so educated and polite and the women are so rude, they laugh at what he says and interrupt him. Bad journalism and education.

He uses "brother" and "sister" with people that know that it is not appropriate to call him the same, so by that, he is constantly reminding them that he is older, wiser, more educated ergo his view is the only one that is valid. That is, in my opinion, condescending.
One can agree with me or not, but it always baffles me when people, like the original poster I responded to (Kevin Schart), who notices that the usage of "dear brother" and "dear sister" makes people feel uncomfortable and disarmed, turns 180 degrees when I make a similar point, not without calling me names.

Watching Laura when Candace is on the show I feel she’s not a big fan of Candace and every time she has been on her show, it feels as she always cuts her off and give the opponent the last word. I respect and admire Candace Owen and think that she is a very talented and brave women. I wish this interview was on Hanity or Tucker I think Candace would have had a lot more to say. Just my opinion.

That article she brought up, I've read it and it clearly says that the reason racism has 'declined' after 2016 is because it was reassuring for racists to see a white man as president again; while during Obama's presidency it brought out the racism more as they were seeing a mixed man in the white house.
