UK .22 AR15 Bolt Catches - catch22, Kriss Defiance, Mil spec, Lantac

The purpose of my videos is to provide information to SGC and FAC shooters which is otherwise difficult to find in the UK market. Can I ask whether the Kriss defiance catch is the standard catch with the rifle? I’m thinking about picking up a milspec .22 lr that replicates the rifle I use abroad. Is there an out the box rifle that achieves the last round bolt catch?

Only the Kriss. You can use their bolt catch in other milspec lowers with the 15-22 mag and you will get last round hold open. The catch-22 ones that come with lantac barely work. You can also install a better mag adaptor, but they're not cheap. If you want one in the UK, have a word with Xtremetactical, he might be able to get one shipped over (sadly Kriss don't ship to UK).
Note, the 15-22 does have last round bolt hold open, but it's not milspec, so it depends what else you're hoping to add to the rifle.

Is that the same as the better mag adaptor? I've seen those in person. I've seen them work fine and I've seen them cause problems. It's another, unsecure, addition into your gun that can interfere with the bolt carrier. My inner fudd brain isn't a fan of that principle (but I bet the majority work just fine!).
