I noticed Jack improve so much this last year. Playing 1v1 with all top 10 RL players had making Jack master his skills. I still will love to see Jack having a 2v2 with FirstKiller as team 8.

It is how he even took down Firstkiller, he went from "wtf how!?" to having a winning strategy and playstyle in the finale of a 1v1 tourney.
No offence to musty.. but I thought he was a lot better at 1v1 than this.. did he not beat arsenal in a 1’s series? And he was very competitive in 3s for a while while being subbed in for NRG?
You could definitely say that Musty lost this, but when you really think about the amount of shit he learned from being in comms with Jack while playing him, I'd have to consider Musty as the overall winner!
I have found that getting out of your routine and out of your comfort zone can be one of the best ways to grow in Rocket League. Sometimes taking HUGE losses and reviewing what happened can make all the difference. And this is about to get a lot of hate, but one way you can remove yourself (from stagnation or a plateau) if you're solo AND gain confidence it to just make a new account. It is not exactly smurfing if you try your best in every game you will find often that you place a bit higher than where you are stuck on main account. If you have friends though, a better option is to do the reverse of smurfing. Get into games of a higher level than you're used to and learn. The last thing I think is valuable is to program yourself. A game before work or school right after you wake up, a game right before you go to sleep. The human mind and body are wired to approach the day based off of your morning. A game right when you wake up (within 30 mins) will subconsciously elevate your gameplay. And a game right before sleep will give your mind an opportunity to digest the information you gave it throughout the day. This is not a loss for Musty, but another way he grows.
