i really like this format, its fun to watch, it seems the players enjoy it, and honestly, the coolest part imo is that while these guys have likely played with each other in ranked, maybe they havent really played together for extended periods in comms in this style, and maybe they make new relationships or teams in the future based on this in their mind
I love these, I get to lay down in bed and watch a movie long 1v1 between the best players of each reason. It's like watching rlcs but hosted by my favorite caster (pro 1s addict), and there are no breaks.
Having just watched the French games, this is such a different feel than the EU players its crazy I much prefer EU 2v2 over NA 2v2 at least as a spectator. That being said I prefer NA 3s over EU, but I may be biased there.
Good stuff. Also a chat full of plats and diamonds definitely doesn't have the credibility to be trying to say who belongs amongst the best players in the world lol.

I’d love to see a version of this with players who play in NA but moved from elsewhere. It wouldn’t be fair to include them in their respective countries, as there would be a pretty significant ping difference. AppJack, Noly, Yan, Lostt, crr, Reysbull are a few great examples, although, I’m sure I’m forgetting some other top quality players who would fit the description as well. I’d also love to see a finale of all of the winners of each country/region playing in one match. The ping would be difficult but switching between servers every few games could work, or even a lan if the series becomes big enough. Great video tho, great series too. One thing I've learned from this is that a lot of the community has no idea what they're talking about when it comes to pro level Rocket League. That fact that anyone would doubt if Chronic or LJ belong in this video is wild.

If you go to liquipedia his profile literally says he hasn’t won a single thing since august 2021. 1:02:49 this doesn't address why these different playstyles exist in the first place though. There's a theory that the language you speak determines the way you think, I believe this may be part of the reason different styles exist in different regions.
The fix is relatively easy. Epic/Psyonix just need to review numbers in the user base for each region and model the mmr to match. A rough starting point could be along the lines of gaining 11.5 mmr for a win and losing 10mmr for a loss. It all depends on setting targeted percentage of players at each rank to define the modelling. - This will still upset people though as you will get say C2 peaks unable to get past D3 because there will simply not be enough spots in each bracket and moving up will depend on actual gains in ability and skill or other not playing anymore. Alt/Smurf accounts will naturally compound the problem as happens now. (You may actually find OCE players have more Alt/Smurf accounts also)

I wish they would smooth out the dropshot floor. Ball hits a tile edge every now and then and bounces straight up, catching everyone off guard.

It's not as simple as "he's not good at 3v3" or "he doesn't like the playstyle". Sometimes teams just don't gel together well.
