Thanks for doing this review. I put this same servo in my Kraton 6S about a month ago and it’s working great. Significantly improved my turning radius over the stock S652
I just came back home after testing my new revo 3.3 with all new 35kg servos. I did replaced all three servos and they do work better than the factory traxxas plastic gears, My are the ZOSKAY 35kg coreless motor and I come home and came across your video so i am glad that someone else have the same opinion about this servos, I do think this are really good daily drivers. Not to impress with the 20kg and 30kg but the 35kg is pretty good. I am in my early 60s and retired and I play a lot with my toys so i do a lot testing Haha!. Thanks for your videos.
@@DoRC You allready know im subbed... Im the only rc clown guy..lol. Yeah it seems pretty fast..defenitly faster then stock..just hope it lasts longer.
I’m looking forward for my corally Kronos 2022 xtr to arrive. I am still figuring out what electronics to get. I have Kuron 825 and the spektrum 150a. Hopefully they work fine together.
The only issue you're going to run into is that the 825 uses 6.5 mm bullets and the spectrum 150 amp uses 5 mm connectors. So you will either have to swap out one end of the other or get adapters. Thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe for a chance to win :-)
@@zeronineonetwo you're very welcome. You also need a high quality soldering iron in order to swap those connectors out as the wires will wick away a lot of heat making the job fairly difficult with a low quality iron
Losi LMT would probably like having this! Running a couple of the smaller ones in my grandsons Granite Voltage and my Rival MT10 - they are working great so far!
Had the Feetech 35kg version from Amazon in my Typhon. Worked great on the 6v the BLX 185 fed it, but it requires spacers under the mounting tabs or under the actual servo mount to the chassis in order for to fit & remain waterproof. Check that the bottom of rhe servo isn't pressed into the chassis after installing. I didn't have enough spacers, compromised the bottom seal & the board got wet. Took it apart, cleaned & re-greased it & it works fine with my 4s. Gets a lil glitchy on 6s. But that was only after literally driving through a large, chassis deep, puddle, multiple times I might add, with the bottom seal compromised. I'd also recommend getting the Arrma 25t servo arm because they mount the linkage under the arm vs over. But it will work with the supplied arm just fine.
Yes I think this would be a significant upgrade from the stock Max servo. You'll also need to get the standard Servo adapter as well as a 25 tooth Servo horn. Thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe to be entered to win :-)
I don't think you'll be disappointed. It's not the fastest servo in the world but it definitely gets the job done and in that application it should be plenty durable. Thanks for watching and if you aren't already subscribed a sub is appreciated:)
No issues so far. The only things I've broken on that truck have been things I've broken due to my own bad landings. If you haven't seen it take a look at my full review of the xtr.
it funny i just ordered one about 2 hours ago. But i nead 2 of them. I have to wait untill 1st of month for the 2nd one. you can toss one my way and it would be apperceiated. lol Unless your pulling from a hat. I had a 25 kg a while ago and i was suprised how long it lasted. thank Have Fun
Comparing it to a Promodeler servo is unfair! hahaha Promodeler are the best servos money can buy. These cheaper option looks nice for a budget friendly build.
Yeah I wasn't really comparing the quality I was just wanting to see how the speed and power felt in comparison given that they had similar specifications.
