Hiller has created some amazing stuff. He's galvanized the CrossFit world more than anyone I've seen since I joined the space in 2019.
Hiller is so misunderstood by many of his critics. He wants to see the sport grow, but also athletes and CF to be held accountable. Neither have been on a level in which they wouldn't be questioned about their tactics. The pushback he gets at times is amazing. It's a shame that some at CF HQ don't understand what he brings to the table. Castro is slowly coming around, but he's still resistant.

I loved the Hiller and Haley documentary, it is also great to see you credit him for the effort and success! Hiller is very polarising character but I generally really like his content, I am also very much a sticklers rules and standards...
The CrossFit space sometimes is little fairy tale world, filled only with positivity. But not everything IS positive. And that's where he comes in. Sees through BS and and calls it out.
Having no actual insight to this…as a fan it seemed Haley had a similar situation at Mayhem until Tasia moved. Tasia seemed like that one on one motherly figure for her. But life happens and she moved from mayhem and Haley’s situation changed probably quite a bit. So this new arrangement is probably more similar to when she had Tasia at mayhem. Again…just my guess with no actual info on that 🤷♂️. Huge Haley fan and Virginia tech fan as a VA native so this is an awesome team up with her there!🤘🙌

Seemed like the Hensaws were the mom and dad figures at Mayhem.
2:55 The Hinshaws were the Mayhem "parents" for Haley especially when she first arrived in Cookeville, they were her chaperones for sanctional events. Haley also used to refer to Tasia Percevecz as her big sister so her comments in Hiller's video and other recent interviews sound like either revisionist history on her part or something happened with these relationships. We also know Rich made a lot of inferences in various Mayhem videos over the last couple of years about Haley doing extra training on top of what was programmed so maybe she wasn't at a point where she was willing to be coached and time away has helped her see things differently. It says a lot if Rich thinks you're doing too much but also if you're seemingly ignoring his advice

Hiller cuts through the BS of crossfit and that is what we need.
Will have to go and watch Hillers documentary now.
