- In the South Bay, thousands celebrated Cinco de Mayo in a big way. This year, there were two parades in San Jose to celebrate Mexican heritage, including one event that now officially sanctions and celebrates lowriders in the community.

Proud Chicano right here. I love watching mi raza celebrate our culture in such colorful displays of pride. From dancing native Mexicas to vaqueros with their dancing horses to chicanos and their dancing classic lowrider. We are truly a blessed people. We enjoy our beautiful women, We love our families and our delicious food. Plus we are an honorable hard working people who know how to celebrate our culture in this most coveted continent of all. The people in power have tried to take all of this away from us but in the end we still persevere. That is why we celebrate EL CINCO DE MAYO. VIVA MEXICO!
