Anyone who’s ever served in the military and who’s been stationed overseas knows what Andrew Tate and his friends did was sex trafficking. We’ve all had to take classes on how to recognize the symptoms.
It starts with small emotional manipulations and the prospect of a better life. Then they isolate you in an area you aren’t familiar with and you usually can’t leave without an escort. They take your passport for “security” reasons and slowly work you up into doing sex acts through emotional manipulation. Fear tactics. Isolation. Threats of violence. Withholding your funds (because they hold it to “help” you), etc. Pearly is just ignorant of these things to simply believe “it was her choice. She could just leave”.

I loved hearing about the father learning from feminine spaces. I am the youngest of five siblings and also the only male. I like to think my emotional intelligence came from seeing my sisters deal with their emotions without aggression or physical violence. I never related to boys because of this and at times has kept me excluded from masculine spaces like sports bars and locker rooms. Now as I’ve grown older I am grateful for having exposure to femininity because I can now sift through which man is centered and which man is emotionally unstable. My emotional intelligence has become something that girls find very unique and genuine, so I do not believe that emotions make a man less attractive. Just my opinions 🤷🏻♂️

I'm an active listener and empathetic to people when we talk which helps develop trust. But you saying you struggle to relate with men is an oddity. Did you just never make many meaningful friendships? The sportsbar part blew my mind. It's not a Hooters or Twinpeaks, you just go there if you want to watch sports and have a drink. how to explain to these people that my great grandfater was born in the late 1800's. Wore his heart on his sleeve... they raised a pig every year and he had to step away when it was killed and came back to help butcher. He never whooped his kids he let his wife handle that. He cried everytime he heard the song when a man loves a women... by the time he died in the mid 70's he was a well loved community member and his funeral was massive... you don't have live with the emotional range of a stone to have a good life. I'm only sad he died before i had the chance to know him.

I started watching Pearl a few months ago, and I sort of enjoyed her approach at first. It took me a couple of weeks and about 5 of her videos to realize all she tries is to slam dunk on her "opponents" with rather extreme opinions, that are not necessarily wrong, but it really shows that she is just regurgitating opinions and ideas that other people came up with without necessarilly fully understanding why they might be correct.
What happened to me with Destiny is quite the opposite and also the same! The way I felt he conducted himself in the first interviews/debates I watched, he came across as a cocky dude with a big mouth with ideas that did not seem to align with reality all that much, however, once you give him a chance and sleep on those thoughts, it is almost impossible to unsee what he exposed and go deeper into the rabbit hole.
Tbh I have great respect for what u just said. I must say I really detest the whole “manosphere” world, and I very much side with destiny’s opinion. I find a lot of the people who r into this r like a one trick pony and no matter what evidence is given won’t listen or change their mind on something.
However ur comment is really refreshing and I respect it totally. I suppose my issue around this culture is not so much their beliefs - everyone will have different beliefs, but it’s their cultish devotion to an opinion which they would never change no matter the evidence, which scares me. Apparently I was “naive”. Because when I was 14 years old I went to school and was befriended a 17 year old girl, a couple grades higher than me in my school. She befriended me and my friend, and asked if we wanted to go out clubbing with her and some guy friends of hers. We’d known her for two years, we both had fake IDS and always went clubbing (I was an addict in my early life due to childhood trauma, they really do pluck out the vulnerable ones), so we said yes. The club was closed, so we all rented an air bnb. We had drinks, the night was set. I was scaling out my molly (MDMA) to take, and they were next to begging me not to take it. I didn’t know why at the time. I took it. Next thing I know my heavy drinker friend was passed out after a shot, I felt extremely weird like never before. The drinks they gave us were drugged, they were begging me not to take the molly because it clashed with the drugs to keep me awake. I was raped multiple times that night by grown men, and that friend of two years. While they made my best friend watch. We were both 14. 14…. I don’t really want to go into it anymore, but I’m so fucking sorry for being a naive 14 year old. Blame the 14 year old who got raped and trafficked instead of the grown men who did it. I have PTSD to this day because of this.. I couldn’t even listen to the debate once it got to the trafficking part, the sheer and utter disrespect to the victims was too disturbing.

Did you not listen to Tate’s explanation of what he meant by property? He said that as the man he has to assume responsibility for the woman’s safety and therefore needs to have authority over her.
