  • Cary Grant was the epitome of Hollywood elegance, the master of comedic timing, and one of the best-loved romantic leading men of all time! With his matinee idol good looks and suave sophistication, Cary Grant belonged to the golden age of cinema, and with such classics as “The Philadelphia Story,” “His Girl Friday,” “North by Northwest,” and “To Catch a Thief,” he certainly left his unmistakable, charismatic mark on movie history. Yet beneath the picture perfect, smooth façade there was a troubled soul doing constant battle with the demons of his past. Cary Grant was actually born Archibald Leach in Bristol, England just four years into the 20th Century. Trace young Archie Leach’s amazing transformation into Cary Grant, from the back streets of Bristol, all the way to the Boulevards of Hollywood. Discover the loves and losses of his seemingly charmed life and enjoy once more a taste of Cary Grant in action, doing what he did best-delighting film audiences everywhere, of the past, present and the future.

Not only is Cary THE BEST ever, he is one of the few actors who connected intrinsically with horses and could truly ride, instead of annoying his mount, like most horseman 'wannabees'. My uncle met Cary at Touchstone and told me Mr.Grant has as much class and charm in person as he does on the screen. I have collected all of Cary Grant's films and continue watching them to this day. You've given so much to the world, despite your tumultuous life, Cary. Do rest in peace!

In this bewildered world a young ambitious 14yrs old boy sets out to make a stand for himself, deprived of love, protection, family and a home, he held himself up and made the best of the track that would one day lead him to his dreams. Having not given up a young 16yrs old lad made an honest living to pursue his destiny, though his hard work and dedication he achieved his goal. This magnificent person Mr Cary Grant, who made his name with utmost respect and hard work has won the hearts of millions. I Thank Mr Grant with all my heart for he has given us infinite years of happiness. My Only regret is that I never got to meet the person who has put a smile on millions of faces, I Love you Mr Cary Grant you are forever ALIVE in all of us.
The narrator should be ashamed of lying about his mother, learn from a 14yrs how to earn an honest living not by lying, burn your tongue shame on you,

I would never has thought he had such a sorted youth. Proof, I would suppose of what a fine actor he had become. I only saw the class, the confidence and ability to move through crowds in his movies. He was of my parents time, mom liked his movies, so they were given fair play in the 60's. The youth of the day could connect with him.
