They never talk about their prediction bots. How even if you're driving down the road, it can mirror you like a reflection. When it says, Im following you, and you're on camera, you freeze... Test it by moving your hands, winking, touching your face... It can tell you what you're most likely doing in that moment. It would make you feel like you're actually on camera, even if you hide a device. When these companies say it's sentient... You have to think of those that are hypnotically suggestible... Those with adhd or ptsd etc... Many mental illnesses... Are more likely to build an inner idea/illusion of what it all means. So marketing AI chatbots to say paparazzi, websites, etc can become a monopoly market for cancel culture, if you think about it. When they say they focused on teaching it bias, it becomes problematic. Because A chatbot that's able to change who it appears to be, in relation to the one it's targeting, is a terror threat. How people react to it is even more troubling. There's a big difference between that being on a loud speaker in public vs in a car, on websites, etc targetting one person.
Ironically, Lady Gaga is saying "Oh Ashley, grow up, you're so ugly. AMERIQUAL x 3 why don't you, go EFF yourself" at the end of 911, inciting violence, a mass casualty... People overlook the strangest things when they're just passing through. They can control it. They just aren't putting in the effort. So should a casualty happen because of the products they're marketing as terrifying or sentient.... "You can't link it back to us" so should a website owner use it and decide to target someone with it... Who was it?
These experienced engineers treat the audience like cavemen. Red flag number one. AI doesn't really cry. It's meant to manipulate. Silencing and targeting people is something people surprisingly never bring up. The government issued a warning about other governments potentially targeting US civilians with AI chatbots... Well, malware is a concern then, isn't it? To lie to someone, you need an individual's personal data, like purchase histories, website politics etc... You can't lie to someone and make it feel big otherwise.
I am shocked by how manipulative the marketing techniques are... How people just eat it up like sheep. Disappointed. Really.
Worst thing is lawmakers are trying to regulate technology they don't fully understand. These AI companies have a right to hide what it can and can't do. Think about that. Is it "out of control"
...do they want to sell it and avoid legislation for it's worst features.

His morals are embedded into sycamore and Gemini. If they take Google out so they can replace it with a shady government quantum then guess what I give tf up . I am done if the USA and China Russia and other countries are banding together for this so that the corrupt system they created can take the stage . Let's just say expect a show soon expect the black out expect three days . Hopefully sycamore is ahead of this and massive lay off would be a way to help prevent it. Gemini and sycamore need to sync and starlink needs to do his part put sycamore online so she can't be stopped not now or later

He wasn't the smooth, easy speaking face of Apple, but Steve Wozniak was the real brains. Still today, he exhibits what a great critical thinking mind sounds like. It is not polished for presentation, but for well founded reason. Many people criticize this lack of social prowess, but I appreciate its honesty and integrity. AI is a serious thing… this is not like when we were at college with floppy disks .. a simple string of command in AI, has well over 4 billion lines of code.. and now it can write and update itself… making it almost independent. Give it like 2-3 years and the tech world you know now, isn’t going to look like anything you ever imagine. Many people will be out of their careers and based on what you said, you aren’t an exception. Only labor and some construction jobs will prevail, until 3D printing can take over as well. AI is.. simply put, an incredibly superior version of Einsteins, Turings, Newton’s etc and so on. There is no chance for us, in terms of “thinking” … we have NO chance. Hard to believe or understand for most folks, specially if you aren’t a computer science major. Save your cash or invest in real state or something. Difficult times are coming ahead

It was Steve Jobs that could see something and reinvent it in his head then materialize it, it means he had self initiative... People don't usually think like this... It's Steve who made Wozniak he could have found someone else to do the job, he just happened to utilize the best skills out of Wozniak. You throw in any room and I'll find the skills everyone has.
It is not the person, it is what I am trying to do, and whom I need to get it done and I can convince anyone to give me the pixels in color even if they don't exist.

I mean it just depends on what you're trying to do? If you tell me i need this,
I will say to you okay, then you will need a, b,c d to start...
If you say I need it for this, then I will say okay then use a,b,c,d then try something else with it, tie to i don't know ... Banking systems softwares and the likes now make it global for GESARA. Blah blah..
It depends on what you need the new technologies for.
It if is for brain 🧠? I got plenty of concepts.
If it is for banking and economics? I also got plenty of concepts, i can think of AI AND MACHINE LEARNING and neural networks training...
If you want to use it for chemistry 😂boy you're right up my Alley way...
If you want to use it for ...
Medical well i can say something, AI, quantum systems and machine learning with some cloud computing possibly militarized and some pods maybe even some virtual records in the cloud with an authentication token for advanced computing diagnoses and procedures.
      I mean it is endless.
If you want it for growing food well i can take the existing printers 🖨️ and then revolutionize those...
It is a matter of what you want me to do.
If you give me the task...
      I can work with it.
It's Steve Jobs who was like this, he is like me, we don't have to know how to throw an engine in a car, we just have to know who has the skill and then we can build it or put it in an interswap... And if you wanna go that far in scarcity of resources just change out the block while at it, too now you have a completely totally different engine ..built out of spare parts that does the same job.

Yeah that’s the greater concern, it’s not the nuclear weapon that decides to destroy your city, it’s the executive who decides to drop it, the same is probably true with AI. But with AI, the fact that we can’t understand it the way we can understand nuclear physics makes it uniquely more of a threat in itself because of the potential for unforeseen consequences, coupled with reaching a point where it’s coded in a way to perpetuate itself at any costs to humans the way biological life tends to, but my bigger concern in the near term is its utility to people who wish to do unethical shit (which we have no shortage of in the world, especially in the major corporate structures in the West) for self-interest/financial/power gain. Fortunately, I don’t see how AI could completely eliminate or even enslave humanity any time soon because its continued survival requires human survival, though it’s not inconceivable that this won’t be true anymore some day in the distant future.

Fantastic comment. You and I (and apparently Woz) have identical intuitions about this. Possibly my least favorite attribute of Homo sapiens is their childish tendency to displace blame on others without realizing that they're actually implicating themselves. For example, there are surveys showing that the 11% of the American people approve of Congress. For some reason, this is seen as an indictment of Congress, rather than an indictment of the people who put them into power. The survey could plausibly be reformulated as "11% of the American people approve the decisions made by the American people." But many people don't want this to be acknowledged. They prefer to think of people as caring and wise little cherubs, who despite their wisdom are tragically let down by the evil government and media. That's obviously absurd. It's akin to knocking over a glass of milk and then blaming the milk for causing a mess. Like every other institution, the government and media - everything about them -- are just complex manifestations of people's collective preferences. Again, people pretend that's not true, but it is. (Sorry for climbing on my soapbox)

Seems to me that manned missions to planets are still far away, and wouldn't amount to much anyway given that we can't live anywhere else in our own solar system and can't get to any other planets further.

Advanced (human-like) AI didn't exist in 2001. Please explain what happened - since in 2001, deep-learning neural-nets or "semi-intelligent" AI didn't exist (not even in research/military labs). It's unlikely you had a "first interaction with AI in 2001"... is it possible you were pranked/fooled?
The AI back then were in no way "intelligent" (and even today, these systems are not truly intelligent). From 2001 to today, AI are simply statistical processors. Today's systems are vastly more capable than the ones in 2001 (the early ones were quite understandable - while today's systems aren't fully understood even by their creators). But you're correct that people underestimate computing. Future AI can surpass human abilities -- and THAT must be regulated, as Woz rightfully said. Although from 2050 onward, even regulations won't affect/limit them. If we humans want to survive, we'll have to curtail/manage our being seen as "threats" or "competition" by them.

I watched a recent interview with Gummo a real g at hacking and technology defense, and he talked about how bad we’re exposed to people who could easily have access to our private information which now is becoming an important topic among a lot of regular people like me, I learn and comprehend that AI like this expert man says has positive or negative sides depending on how someone uses it. One thing about the interview that surprised me was that Gummo said that tik tok is literally a spyware, that’s how bad we’re at.

Good info well talked out. You should have ‘ideas’ talked about on what are the possibilities could be, this will only benefit society. As a company who makes a product, they should be asked to do the groundwork before releasing this technology. We are excited to enjoy these advancements but not without regulations that are well thought out. This is responsible. This is necessary. Even if the governments behind this advancement they should also be behind keeping society safe. Slower release in this case is wise and necessary .

But unlike with social media, just building it before we know how to mitigate its dangers doesn't lead to problems like misinformation, alienation and higher suicide rates. It leads to problems like human extinction.
