This is exactly what I was looking for, I was looking at the yellow 3D piece and I was confused on what I was supposed to do with it. You saved me some frustration
Just the video I need. Same exact issue with my 2004 on the passenger side. I thought I'd buy a new bezel as well, but now I think it's just the clip because it's only loose on the handle side like in your video. It's hilarious how much plastic is in these things. Haha
THANK YOU ! I have that issue and it was making me crazy, having to "push" the bezel back into place everynow and then. I've ordered the plastic parts just now ... Can't wait to get them.
How did you fasten the yellow plastic 3D-printed piece you bought into the door pull? Does it just fit with friction from the front part of the switch panel pushing against it, or do you need to epoxy the piece into the door pull?

the windows in my truck aren't loose or jiggly, but the window regulators themselves are awful and slow and sometimes stall out in cold weather. if yours are loose, i would remove the door panel, and search around to see if any of the fasteners have come loose. also the tracks that the window rides on should not be worn out. if they are it would be time to replace them. the reason i made this video was because i had searched EVERYWHERE for a solution to this issue, and saw zero good youtube videos, or forum posts on truck forums, or really anywhere else. it was only out of dumb luck that i saw this weird little 3D printed thing on ebay and figured i would try it out, and out of sheer surprise it worked flawlessly. i only wish i had a 3D printer so i could make the part myself instead of sending so many sales over to the person who is currently selling them hahahaha

There's a cheaper easier fix. Put a 1 1/2" screw into the white plastic (so it's being screwed in towards the rear of the car) where the yellow 3d printed piece is. Position the screw so its right on the inside edge (closest to the seat) of where the clip would be and leave the screw out enough that the head is just on the front side of where the clip would be. Also keep it about 1/4 inch below the grab handle surface. When you place the switch assembly back in the screw will keep it pressed against the door.
The problem is that the white plastic is not very strong and this area of the door sees a lot of flexing and pressure from people opening and closing the door. A screw will ultimately strip itself out and the plastic can become cracked and even more brittle. This is a very temporary solution, that will eventually ruin the door panel completely. You could fill it in with fiber reinforced epoxy but I mean, why? Why not spend $9 and just have a simple fast solution that takes 20 minutes.
Seriously man? You state at the start how you're going to easily fix the exact problem I have, I watch half your video, then you pull a piece of "3D printed plastic" out of your back pocket! This is not home garage do it yourself type of video!
@@jc13781 no I didn't read the entire description, I see it there now. Lots of creative people on RUclips, there's likely a fix for this very common problem, thanks

Very helpful, the same piece broke on my 2003 Suburban and I have been pondering how i was going to fix it. Thank you so much.

Do you have a part number or the link to order? Can't find it on ebay. Thanks
@@coyotefan11 teh seller is KO3dSolutions
and the part is listed under : 03-06 Sierra Silverado Tahoe Yukon Door Panel Arm Rest Repair Pull PAIR
Thanks for posting this video. It’s just what I needed for my 03 Silverado.
Great fix for may saggy window switches I've put up with for years👍
Thanks for uploading this video 👍
what holds the fix it piece in?
I bought those in ebay great fix for my 2004 silverado

Good question, yes it just slots in you don’t need to fasten it. Because the door panel clips into it and it can’t go anywhere. It’s a clever design.

Ingenious! I rework Silverados and suburbans as a hobbie and will remember this for sometime when I need to make this repair.
Cant find the part on E-bay, you don’t happened to have a Part number or a better description than the one am using ? Please advice thanks

👍 excellent. Thanks. Have you dealt with the loose/jiggly windows on these same vehicles?

Wish I could find something like this for a 2004 Crown Vic.
I have looked on eBay for this part with no luck can you add the number eBay has for it I may not be describing the part right thanks
I put gorilla tape on mines. It works just fine..lol
So a screw installed from the inside face of the door panel into the hidden side of the bezel wouldn't have worked?
I don’t know. But I prefer real solutions to driving random screws into my vehicles.

Amazing thank you for sharing
Thanks for this
Will this piece work for driver side?
The dude selling them on eBay has ones for both sides
How do you attach the 3d piece? Does it just slide in or do you epoxy it in place? Thanks
It just slides in once you have the area prepared. The way the pieces fit together it’s not necessary to glue anything.

very helpfull. Thanks
Appreciate it
Does the package come with two of them?
I bought the two pack because both of my doors were broken but I think whoever is making them also sells them individually. You might want to msg him.

Any ideas are helpful and thank you for yours.
Heated seat switches passenger seats do not have memory
What is neam or numbers pis
Can't I just put small screw there without the clip
That’s one way to do it, but every time you open the door you’re putting stress on a screw that will eventually strip out of the plastic.
Or you could’ve just zip tied it from the inside of the door panel 😅
It still wiggles around a lot when you do that. It is what I did previously
