Thanks, Dustin. My passenger side door handle is real loose and I believe I can access it from where you were at in this video. Very informative video. Thanks for sharing.
Great demo and to the point. I've had good luck repairing damage like this with aluminum or sheetmetal pop riveted at the broken plastic joint. I've also used JB Weld plastic mender it glue it back together and adding a strong back made of the same material glued in across the break. It's wise to weigh the cost of replacing with used parts vs the time and material to fix the existing piece
Thank you for this video. I was thinking I would have to replace the whole panel even a stripped out version. It’s a couple hundred bucks. All I have to do is replace that arm because my switches are dangling and broken in the same way that didn’t want to spend $500 on a new one stupid door skin. I’m just gonna look for an arm piece.😅
I have the same issue with my 2013 buick enclave. I search for it but it only gives me the actual handle that opens the door. I evwn search for it as an armrest but nope.
What material do you use if just the electric window panel is loose? I was thinking double-sided tape of some sort. Looks like old, disintegrated foam there now.
I have a 2005 Yukon and I'm having to replace mine on my Driver's side. It took a buddy of mine and myself going to 3 different salvage yards to find one. And by the grace of God its the right color, But I'm curious about how to fix the leather on the replacement. It needs to be reglued cause its kind of pulled away from the inner plastic.

Glad you enjoyed! Watch eBay for awhile and you can find a deal on one, just make sure all the clips are there.

Where can I get the bolts? I bought the arm rest, but I don’t know where to buy the bolts needed for?

They should have made the brackets out of aluminum or something stronger than molded plastic .
I came here to see how you got the wiring off the controller. Because I’m struggling with one. And of course you leave that whole part out.
Are the arm rest from a 99 silverado same as 04 silverad0
Where do you buy the piece shown at 3:22?
Thanks for your utube.
Thanks for watching!

That happens because people don't know how to take care of their stuff
Yep you are right. A lot of people will put pressure on the armrest when getting in or out of the vehicle
