Wow found the correct switch assembly and except for couple minor differences in door panel fasteners your video was so well done that I was able to do myself. Amazon part was $120 compared to 3 times that at regional auto parts stores. Super happy
Esay to follow instructions, I ended up disassembling my own part since the replacement didn't not operate the trailer extenders for the mirrors alcohol and a cotton swab, re-installed and worked just like new.
Very helpful. Good camera angle. Very helpful on dismantling. And what size screws torque everything was great. Very good video. Thank you very much. Very helpful.👍👍
could you show us how to reprogram them im installing a used window switch i pulled from the junkyard on my passanger door and my key fob won't work unless i plug back in the old window switch
one thing i been hiring about is the mirror switch for the left and right mirror at the top won't stay don when you go to adjust the mirrors. people have said they have to hold switch down to which ever side they want to control is yours like this?
I have a 2006 Tahoe. One feature I really dislike is the auto-express down front windows. No, you cannot just hit the button again to stop them. Once they're going down, they're going down. You do have to pull up on the switch the whole time to raise the windows. Can something be done so that the switch has to be held down the whole time to lower the front windows? I would much prefer it to be that way. Thanks!
@TRQ I replaced my door lock/window module and everything works fine except the unlock sequence with the key fob. Before I replaced my module, when I pressed the unlock on the fob, the driver's door would unlock with the first push, and on the second push, the 3 passenger doors would unlock. Now, after I replaced the module, when I 1st press the fob unlock, nothing happens, 2nd push the passenger doors unlock, then the 3rd push the driver's door unlocks. This is backwards. I contacted the seller and they sent me a 2nd module. Same thing happens with the 2nd module received. Is there a way to program this sequence, or are both modules wired wrong?
Is it true that the keyless entry transponder or module is also located in that master window switch minus a 2003 GMC Yukon and I already tried programming the remote it will not program they told me to change out the module or the transponder can't seem to find the location I was told that the transponder or the module is located inside the window switch can you confirm
Gotta do this later and we'll I'm disappointed in Chevy. My 2021 Peterbilt 389 for some reason goes through drivers side window stitches, 2 to 3 a year. No can figure it out why. I pop the switch out unplug it plug in the new one and the switch drops in. No taking door panels apart. Not that this is difficult just could have been way simpler is all.
Way over engineered and expensive for notorious GM plastic. A tiny piece broke of mine just now and that equals this job lol great video instruction but that things getting super glue.

Got me through this job effortlessly. Thanks.
Helpful thanks. I would recommend testing the switch before buttoning everything back up.

I like manual roll up windows. I wonder if a certain wire such as the main power source is bas .. As either everything's works or nothing works .
Grey locking connector do you carry it for purchase?

I had to program the switch during install by putting enclosed cardboard spacer under 1 connector. 1 year mirrors fold in when adjusting. How do I fix
FYI this is a complete different switch for some Tahoes but the work is basically almost the same

+@edwardkareem6446 The keyless entry transponder can be found behind the instrument panel cluster.
No programming required?
After doing all this the next day my truck wouldn't start. And it would never have problems before. Everything is plugged in also.

It takes 7 seconds to fix a 28 minute set up and reinstall 🥲
