My personal favorite is using a blow dryer and your hair is still damp but you see smoke. Or after you come it out in pieces with conditioner and after you rinse it out it re knots back up?

I think they know that. Thick+curly hair is the ultimate struggle,I know I have it. 😂 if you have straight thick hair it isn't as hard to manage in my opinion. Ofc if you have wavy or semi wavy hair its the same as struggles as curly hair though.

Yeah- I don't even bother trying to get the knots out when it's really bad. I just rip my hair into three strands and braid it. When I try to put it into a ponytail, it just kinda bulges out and looks like a ball made of hair.

thank you!! my hair is thicc and so i just have a braid because it's the easiest thing to do. you would think a ponytail is easier but nO. so we use these things and idk what theyre called but its like a hair tie, but with two beads on it. you hold one end in place and wrap the other end around the hair. and then you fasten the beads together to close it. there is so much hair up there that if it's not super tight then my hair somehow hurts??
What about girls with thick hair but its still wavy/straight? I have so much hair that I break a hair tie on a regular basis and there is hair everywhere!! My hair is so heavy that unless I use a defuser while blow drying my hair it just falls straight. Thankfully I can brush mine but... still

This video should say "Thick Curly Hair Problems" because I have thick straight hair and I have none of these issues. The issues I have is that it takes forever to wash, and get hair cuts. It's also can get very hot during the summer. I usually get my hair thinned out.
I have some of these issues and my hair is naturally straight, and I hate it when hairstylists or anyone in general are like "Your hair is not thick, because your hair is straight.

Try thin hair with a greasy problem. My hair is a grease ball two days without washing and I have to tease my hair everyday to get any sort of volume to it.

I had the same problem and I started using sulfate free shampoo and now my hair is thicker, shinier and healthier than ever and it doesn't get greasy quickly. Look up how sulfate contributes to making your hair greasy. It's honestly life changing for me.

To avoid too many tangles I have learned to enjoy protective styles like braids. It also gives an awesome style when I decide to take it out. I really enjoy my curly thick hair and there’s nothing “worse” or “horrible” about it. If anything I want it bigger and curlier lol

I have naturally wavy/straight hair and its so thick! everyone in my family had thick hair but mines the thickest I need 3 thick bobbles to have a ponytail I got so annoyed with it that I booked my hair into be permed scared im going to ruin it but oh well!
Growing up until I was about twelve I had really tan skin and long thick dark curly hair. I was always asked if I was bi-racial or Latina. I am neither. I would have to explain that I was just half Native American and I spent a lot of time outside. Then when I was about twelve or thirteen I started to get really pale and I cut my hair into a pixie cut. The questions about my ethnicity stopped

I don't even have thick curly hair, I just have medium thick hair?? My sister has thin hair and hers is like shiny and silky. Mine... I still sometimes brake the bristles of the comb (the teeth???). I use two hair ties when I put it in a bun. I rip then too sometimes. It takes for ever to get all the knots out of my hair. My hair just has a mind of its own and goes in every direction. The ends will go outwards some days or inwards other days. I like to get my hair styled often, but the hair stylist hate to cut is because it's a process! Which I mean takes forever. I use a lot of bottles of conditioners.
I got REALLY wavy thiccc hair. And i can comb my hair when I put a lot of argan oil or conditioner on it before the wash. Just use A LOT of conditioner and a brush for tangles.

My hair is like Ella’s, and my experience has been exactly like her’s. My mom has straight hair, so she never knows how to really deal with it, and I’ve always thought straight hair was better than somewhat curly thick hair. My only difference is for a long time my hair was straight, and then when I was maybe in 6th grade, my suddenly started becoming wavy, or curly in some areas.

Im a red head, thick haired, curly haired girl. It.suuucks. its always frizzy, haired to comb through. My hair is always ridged looking (as so people tell me. Which is rude Btw).
