Just found your site! I am 81, live in Myrtle Creek, Or.. I am a Skeen (Scot is Skene as Skene Castle). My middle daughter is a red headed Kimberly! Looking forward to following you! We had our first ever trip to Aberdeenshire planned for this year but it was cancelled of course. You've shown us it's not to be missed and fortunately it's replanned for 2021. Looking forward to it!

If you love castles you should check out Kinnaird castle, still home to Lord & Lady Kinnaird, Its just south of Montrose so probably not to far away from you. It Is absolutely stunning and best of all you can stay there.
The wife and I stayed there for our 2 week honeymoon a couple of years back. We had an apartment in the main castle which was the whole of one wing, and no it wasn't expensive. The grounds are incredible with a deer park, salmon run, temple and many many other features.
They have a web site, just give it a search on google, if you ever get the chance you should go, its a truly magical place.

We sometimes forget what there is close by. Nice vlog and well done.... Aberdeenshire has more to offer than I realised....... Beautiful beaches and quiet. Me type of places... 😂 😂
Great introduction to Aberdeenshire and its lovely locations. Visit Aberdeenshire did well employing you. They could not have made a better choice of presenter. I hope other tourist boards employ you too, because you even make being out in the rain look good. Thank you very much Karen. Yes most castles are open to the public however many do not allow photography or filming within them. They are well worth visiting though 🙂

We have 3 castles in California Hearst Castle, Disneyland Castle and another CastIe i have never been to in Alahambra California yours are more interesting as they are real not reproductions yours are so interesting
There's so many castles in Scotland and they are all very unique and different in nature. It's very interesting. It's a shame there is only replicas near you.
