I just finished this book when I discovered your channel. I loved all of your points and really agree with what you said about Wolves Of The Calla. This series is truly something to behold and I’m glad I found your channel cause I need to talk after that ending! 😂
I really look forward to watching your videos as I'm nearing the end of a Stephan King book! It may be a while before I watch your next video for the Dark Tower series. This book is THICC
Once again I need to thank you for these videos. You really do brighten the day of this woman in Ohio (home of Holly Gibney) USA. Haven't had many day brighteners lately so I really do appreciate when and how it happens.
Like you, I also liked this book more than Wolves of the Calla and Wizard and Glass. Yeah, at its heart, it's a 'bridging' novel setting up the last part, but the set pieces in this book are explosive, and it zips along at a good pace, unlike WotC which dragged for long periods.
I had an author make an indirect reference to me once in a book while my dad was an actual character! Dad did not like being portrayed as some magical character who saw nothing odd about 2 children lost in a forest and giving them directions! 'What the Orangutan told Alice' by Dale Smith.
I never understood the hate that some folks have for this book. After the long, slow, drawn out (but still good) events of Wolves, it felt nice to get a brisk, plot-driven story. Commala-come-two! Nothin left to do! Gotta go where ka's wind blows ya 'Cause there's nothin else to do
Was a great book I remember loving it and I was so happy the remaining work was coming out fast but I still took like 6 months to read it cause knew the end was coming and didn't want it to. Read it 5 times I believe. I still can't think of why it's called song though... Was it cause of the structure of the chapters/stanza... Wouldn't that be like the poem of Susannah. Also or was it cause she told the demon to commala cum cum thought that happened in previous book or maybe it didn't at all and just in my mind lol
Really disappointed with this one. Almost nothing from this book stuck with me the moment I was thankfully done with it. The problems ultimately come down the characters. Susannah is just not a compelling character and I had little interest in what happened to her. Roland, Eddie, and Jack aren’t much better. It’s sad considering just how long this series has gone on that I’m so unmoved by their stories. The scenes with King are pretty cool but everything else went in one ear and out the other. I’ll read the final book but unless it blows me away, I’m going to come away either with this series being a very long but minor King work

I've never seen a review with so many Bangs Seeds and Tractors. Great work!

Also, you cut your hair and then have trouble speaking. Coincidence? I'm actually a barber so kudos on the haircut.
@@honestlyjewels woah, I'd never considered that! I'm like Samson
Love your videos!

Totally agree!

Very cool. A writer friend of mine named a character after me and another pal…the character was a serial killer 😂
One day I'll get an update and it'll be Dave, doing a review video whilst sitting on a tractor.
Now *there's* an idea! Perhaps when I get to the end of the books and do my overall ranking ;-)
I really enjoyed the song of susannah definitely a step up from the wolves of the calla 🙂🤗👍📚📖
Same!

I hear you - I’ve got plenty of time for this one!

I can't remember on the song stuff...I have a memory of her maybe singing some sort of ballad towards the end, but I can't be sure on that

Fair enough! It’s definitely a book that blasts through to set up the final one - hope you enjoy the last one more!
