I totally understand the feeling of being excited when you make something, and you're like "I made that!" I'm the same way. These are totally adorable. I look forward to seeing what else you come up with for Christmas crafts!
LOVE these adorable screen printed sweaters (jumpers)! The earrings turned out so, so cute! I'd wear 'em! 😍😊👍💕 P.S. You did a great job! Can't believe that was your first try!
Claire, that silkscreen is perfect for these sweater/jumpers. You did a fantastic job lining up the print for the earrings to match. Beautiful, beautiful project!❤❤❤
I usually use epoxy glue to attach the stud posts, but I've also used superglue with UV resin on studs, which are just resin. I've had issues with UV resin separating from polymer clay sometimes, and I don't trust the bond for stuff I sell. These are adorable. I had no idea you could screen print on polymer clay. Yet another thing to add on my personal list of things to try. 😂
A tip for silk screening on polymer clay if you use craft acrylic paint in a bottle instead of tube paint it will spread more evenly and easily ✌️😁 also for post earrings I use a thinner piece of clay to cover the round plate part so the only part showing is the actual post. Much tidier and very secure
❤❤❤😊😊😊😊. I love watching your videos. They give me so many ideas for presents for family members for Christmas or birthdays. I love making things for people it means more when its homemade. Right now I am working on sewing a blanket for a friend's baby. The theme for the blanket is Jack and Sally nightmare before Christmas.
I have not done silkscreen printing on polymer clay but in regular screen printing you'd apply the ink/paint to the short side so you don't have to overlap because your squeegee isn't as wide as the long side
I love this video Claire. It’s given me some ideas of what to help my daughter make. I know I have written an essay, but I had some ideas that I hope may inspire others & have mentioned something some people may not know existed. Thank you if you do read to the end. I think making the big ones as a necklace with stud earrings would have made a great set. You could maybe make a ring with them to make a three piece set? Smaller of the two maybe could be made I to a bracelet either as a single charm or with several with beads of different shapes or sizes. You can buy craft tinsel which is very small in size, or you could even buy tinsel wool. If you haven’t seen it before look it up, it’s amazing & the colour combinations you can get is amazing. I was thinking you could use craft tinsel or a few strands of tinsel wool to go through a jump ring/split ring to make a necklace, or you could make the hole a fraction wider & fold your tinsel in half & post the loop in the middle of the fold through the hole & then the two ends through the loop to make another way to make a pendant necklace cord. Or, if you can knit or crochet, or know someone who can, knit/crochet a strip your desired length to circle your neck, close enough to be snug but not too tight so you feel like you are being strangled. And the width would need to be the length of the jumper you are using (or whichever shape you are using), or a little wider or a little narrower, depending on your taste. You could close the strip with small buttons/buttonholes, or poppers or other necklace closure findings. You could use glue or resin to secure, but I would either make holes wide enough for tinsel to pass through, or clear, black or several strands of cotton sewing thread to match your tinsel & sew them to your band or attach them as you knit. Or make diagonal side holes so the hole doesn’t come out the front of the jumper, but on the side through to the back & attach through. You could have yourself a nice Christmas Jumper chocker necklace. Perfect for wearing if you want to take part in the wear a Christmas jumper to work day, but find wearing jumpers at work too hot to wear. For the smaller charms you could knit a flat skirt shape or dangle some tinsel wool from the bottom of your jumper for a jumper/skirt effect. Possibilities are endless. I hope these help inspire someone.
Every time there is something new and amazing arts on your channel, Ms Claire 😍.Love today's creation video too much, how you created those lovely ear studs and earrings with the clay, how you made prints on the clay, everything was totally amazing and the ear jewelleries came out so adorable 😍💜💜
These are just perfect ❤ you’re costing me a fortune as I just want to try everything you do! 🤣🤣 Off to look at the stencils! Thank you for another great video 😊
So cute!! For future reference...if u put some paint on either the ledt or the right and swipe left or right u dont have to put a bunch of paint on the clay so u might can save some clay in the future with no paint. I have mitten and winter hat cutters....really need the sweater cutter
I actually bought 2 of the UV kits for my daughters for Christmas…. Love these sweaters, aka jumpers…lol… I can identify, if I can’t do something first time, probably not going to do it again…. 🤣
Sweetie, use the blade to completely release the clay from the tile. Saves "smooshed" edges. Yes, an hour is exactly what you want. They don't fully cure with less time. Polymer clay is dangerous, lol. Easy to go down the rabbit hole. Fun, fun, fun. xoxoxoxo
OMGOD you are too adorable!! I love love your videos!! They are so much fun to watch! I could reach through the screen and kiss you because of the fun you bring!
So cute!!! Those small ones could be made into mittens by trimming one of the thumbs off, at least that what my crazy imagination says.😂😂😂
That is a brilliant idea
Good idea!!
The large size would make great ornaments 🎄
Love love❤️ now I need lol. Thanks Abby.😘xx
Absolutely adorable ❤ Christmas Sweaters 🤶🎅⛄️🎄🎁❤️💚🤍
Textures on poly clay.👍😃 First I've seen silk screen that tiny for fair isle pattern for miniatures. Very cool 🎄🎅
Oh my goodness! Thank you so much for the shout out!! I'm so sorry I missed the live chat, these are so beautiful!! 😍
Wow these are the cutest earrings I’d use the big one on a necklace and make a set but I’m weird like that great video Claire
Shared. Claire!!!! You did a fantastic job. These are sweet 🦌🦌❄❄❣
A few years ago there was a trend of Ughly Sweaters, think over decorated with lights, bells etc. These are much cuter!
These are just ADORABLE!! 😂
With out a doubt the cutest thing’s ever Claire ❤🎉
Dang so cute and what a great idea with the clear acrylic to push down the cutter!!!
Omg! The tiny ones look like shrooms! Adorable!! I would so have a pair of ear rings out of those!
Very cute Christmas sweaters and earrings! Great job!
Fantastic Claire, they are so cute 🎄🎄 🎄 🥰🥰🥰

You come up with the cutest idea’s! Thank you! 💕
So cute I want to see the trees across the middle painted green. I think a teeny tiny paint brush would work.
To stick stuff together I mostly use B-7000.
Claire, that silkscreen is perfect for these sweater/jumpers. You did a fantastic job lining up the print for the earrings to match. Beautiful, beautiful project!❤❤❤

I love them! The studs are so cute and tiny.😍

I’ve had those silk screens for a couple of weeks, but I’ve been too scared to use them. After seeing this, I’m going to get at it!

So cute! I live using polymer clay because it doesn’t dry out here in arid AZ! What a great start for Christmas! 🎄🎄
On catch up. Absolute cuteness overload.love then x
I use either E6000 or epoxy glue. I worry that uv resin under the post won't cure. These came out super cute.
