Impressive progress! It has taken me 11 weeks of steady practice to get where you were on your 11th try and I have been foiling in one form or another for years longer than I would like to admit. That foot tip given in your vid @1:56 is absolutely key, this would have saved me hundreds of jumps and your vid is the only one I've seen that mentions it.👍🏼
Hi Adam, Thanks for the kind words, I think it’s the hours and hours of DWing that helped me to be honest. I’m so used to controlling large wings, as soon as I got my feet in the rough area I was able to control it. Yes, that foot position is so important and often overlooked! Thanks again
I think the placement of your front foot is the most important part. And give it a few seconds before starting to pump (ride the glide). Hope that helps.
Goodwork! After wingfoiling for 1,5 year i'm gonna start pumpfoiling at the local Lake. I already have the north sonar mast in two lengths (72 & 85 cm). Both of them in the alu version, good enough for pumpfoiling?
Great tips Chris and Gav
Glad you enjoyed it
Yeah Gav!! Made it look way to easy!
Thanks mate!

G'day, have you tried dock starting on the SF1230? Cheers!
I haven’t mate. It’s definitely doable but the pump wings and DW wings are much easier. The DW1400 is super easy.
Is that a high modulus fuselage? 🤨
…maybe 🤔

7 session in and I'm still working on foot placement and gliding after jumping on the board. I'll try your tips next time

Yes, the Alu one is absolutely fine for pumping. I’d recommend getting the p1800, that will make it way easier to learn.
hello mate, well done, did u use the P1800 or P2000 ? whats ur weight ?
Hi mate. I used the p1800. At my 80kg, this is more than enough
